ALAN I WANT ANIMATION VS GEOMETRY DASH
I love your videos 🎉🎉

@corvo8974 *Slaps you with fractals*
Yeah i love it
@corvo8974Slap you with your transcript
The animations grew up as we grew up. Nothing's more perfect.

@rukiddingme2 no kiddo it is confirm that his name is the second coming
So now we have Animation vs. Math Animation vs. Physics and *Animation vs. Geometry* what’s next!? Biology??

Or maybe animation vs Reading.
HUH
Or chemistry?
Animation vs Chemistry
I don't think we all realize how smart orange really is, he was in physics, math, and some other ones I forgot, not to mention ALAN BECKER FOR LITERALLY KNOWING THIS STUFF AND TURNING IT INTO A AWESPME ANIMATION, THANK YOU!
Alan didn't know all of this he had someone help him with the ideas but Alan has no idea what it means he just animates whatever the guy says

Dude your a legend
Ok but if 24 cell is a 4D shape, how are they trapping it with 3D shapes?
I find it pretty interesting on how you've represented each irrational number:
1. e is protective and hard to befriend
2. Pi works as an accessory
3. Phi teaches you and is very friendly
When did we see the pi? ( im really asking not saying that we didnt)
@noureldeenheikal7087 Pi was used by e and TSC on Animation Vs Math
Who asked + my content is way better + people have no taste
Who asked + my content is way better + people have no taste
🤓🤓🤓🤓Erm, they are transcendental numbers, not irrationals technically to be more precise and also that is euler’s identity, not e🤓🤓🤓🤓
So they trapped a 4D object,
In 3D shapes,
On a 2D plane,
On top of a 1D line,
By connecting 0D points.
…
✨Genius✨
_Sort of already mentioned, but I extended the thought._
you even forgot the -1D
@RambilTheTakisEaterOfficialon my -1D brain
Can u hear us can you see us sleep well
5d object, but yes
You can trap a 4d object in a 3d container due to the 4th dimension being time. With time being irrational on chalkboard and stuff, unless this was real, it would be trapped.
now thats a real geometry dash 4:17
If this video was a book, geometry dash would be this chapter

oh I think we'd need programming as a programmer tbh
programming would be an interesting topic. i wonder how a transition from Object-Oriented Programming into Entity Component Systems and Dependency Injections would be interpreted in an animation like this.
Astronomy is Physics. Programming is Math.
SOLVING THE (current) THUMBNAIL:
From what we see in AvM, Orange is 2.5m tall due to being 2.5 blocks tall. Here we see he is ROUGHLY 4 tiles tall. 2.5 divide 4 is 0.625m, so 0.625m per tile. The side b is 9 tiles, which is 0.625 x 9 = 5.625m. The side a is 5 tiles, so 0.625 x 5 = 3.125m. Now we can find the side c using a² + b² = c².
Side a² = 3.125² = 9.766m (rounded)
Side b² = 5.625² = 31.460m (rounded)
Which means that:
Side c² = 9.766 + 31.460 = 41.406m
Side c = √41.406 = 6.435m
Side a is the Opposite, side b is the Adjacent, and side c is the Hypotenuse.
To first calculate the bottom right angle which I will call x, we are going to use
Sin (x) = 3.125 divide 6.435 = 0.49 (rounded up)
Which we will then substitute into sin-1 (0.49)
To receive the angle x = 29.3 degrees
To then calculate the top left angle which I will call y, we will simply just do 90 - 29.3 to receive the angle y = 60.7.
NOTES: Yes I ignored the Animation vs. Physics height given for Orange. I just simply don't think it's correct given that the number could be anything without any external guides to go off, like the AvM blocks.
I'm bad at math so if I did anything wrong please let me know.
EDIT: The thumbnail I'm referencing had a right sided triangle with all unknown values. Check the wiki for it.
props to you for doing the maths
What the £uck
Looks right to me. Then again, I'm not checking
Godamn.... your smart
you can do a lot better than me at math if i must say
You've seen destroying Minecraft with Minecraft, you've seen destroying math with math, you've seen destroying physics with physics, but have you seen destroying geometry with geometry?
@totallyzeus7072 Now I have
what's next? destoying animation with animation? oh wait
azrael 66666 that would be the animations that destroy the Flipaclip watermark
Now we just need to destroy chemistry with chemistry
Yes, i have. Games called Geometry Wars
I love how the golden ratio "fight" feels more like a teacher humoring a student because golden ratio has prior knowledge that tsc is chill.
it truely is a roundabout path
a bizarre method if you will
8:47 I LOVE HOW HE CONNECTS THE UNIVERSE OF EVERY ANIMATION
At the end of animation vs physics, the alternative guy took the guy who went through the blackhole’s hat and went dropped himself into another dimension
@Weirdo-chip and at the end of this one, the video resets. its the same guy all over
Apparently a dodecahedron represents the universe (I think it's a dodecahedron)
@nopveit is
@nopve makes sense considering he drops into one in animation vs physics. And the neat connection to the "Dodecahedronal" singularity.😊

In my opinion, for now, this is what the timeline looks like :
1. Animation vs Math
2. Animation vs Geometry
3. Animation vs Physics
But in fact it's not
Physics was first
@THEarrasBuddhist yeah, I would guess that they have actually been presented chronologically, but the physicist one traveled in that fractal dimension when he left
@elainewsf OK, try explaining your theory, I'm curious
That actually makes so much sense...
So Math was the one with the most complex amount of ‘easter bunnies’, Physics was the one with lots of world building, and Geometry is the one that’s incredibly nice to look at?
Makes sense.
Your so damn rigth
Makes sense geometry is the nicest to look at. Geometry is full of patterns, shapes that feel like perfection. These patterns are all over nature. Theres a reason its called the golden ratio.
Do you mean easter eggs?

@dark_matter120 25 coins 💀💀
For the Chemistry video, the villain could be the scariest of them all, the universe killer, entropy.
Entropy is enevitable
That's gonna be awesome if they do it. Entropy has always been a investing concept to me, so seeing the concept animated will be a treat.
That's gonna be super interesting. But I'm wondering how exactly it can be concretely represented given it's the measure of disorder.
Entropy is the second law of thermodynamics, in *Physics.*
Ommgggg it would be soooo cool
I learned more about geometry from this video then school ever did
First math, second physics, and now this.
Bro where is the cannon stuff at, it's been to long already 😮💨
Physics and geometry is all math anyway so it’s kind of confusing
@dogdrawlerI thought physics is a part of Science
@Pukanjan Well physics is applied math. To rephrase: physics is how math represents reality. That is my interpretation
I think the forth one is chemie

Would love more series like this bust surrounding subjects that the other characters relate to more. Like how geometry is to orange because of his drawing, but chemistry is for blue, biology is for red, engineering is for yellow, and music is for green. And then orange could join them, possibly through the infinite versions of himself like we see here or in vs physics
@kobrakuddles568yeahh that would be interesting!
TSC already master Math and Physics
TSC built diff
@Candy_Bittersweet Based on the episode with Green chasing down Purple, along with his ability to sing, I would argue that Green is the most compassionate of the bunch.
The reason I think Red to be assertion is due to his interaction with TDL, where he is the first one to charge into the fight (of course getting killed both instantly). I was going to originally say that Red was aggression, but we see how Red has acted beforehand, and it didn’t really match, as despite being erratic, he by no means seems overtly aggressive.
Animation vs math: was the most confusing
Animation vs Physics: was the most creative
Animation vs geometry: With the coolest music
Animation vs Chemistry: would have the craziest visuals
(from the top comment if it would ever come to reality)
Animation vs Computer Science: will be the most confusing (more confusing than Animation vs Math)
@anri_szyrykowski i think
1 E veio a mim a palavra do SENHOR, dizendo:
2 Filho do homem, profetiza contra os profetas de Israel que profetizam, e dize aos que só profetizam de seu coração: Ouvi a palavra do Senhor;
10 Porquanto, sim, porquanto andam enganando o meu povo, dizendo: Paz, não havendo paz; e quando um edifica uma parede, eis que outros a cobrem com argamassa não temperada;
11 Dize aos que a cobrem com argamassa não temperada que ela cairá. Haverá uma grande pancada de chuva, e vós, ó pedras grandes de saraiva, caireis, e um vento tempestuoso a fenderá.
@Kauan-Kaiser Sorry to say this, but your comment is not related here. But nonetheless, good one!
I love that you colored each Platonic solid according to the classical element it is associated with:
Tetrahedron -> fire -> red
Octahedron -> air -> white
Cube -> earth -> green
Icosahedron -> water -> blue
Dodecahedron -> aether -> yellow
I assumed the dodecahedron being gold was just another part of the whole golden ratio makes things gold thing, since the dodecahedron is made of pentagons, which have golden ratio diagonals.
@UltraLuigi2401 Makes sense but it was also the last primary color left to use there.
@DarkblueRadiance "primary color" is such a strange concept. What colors are "primary" depends on context, with there definitely being more than 4 total. At the very least, the primary colors of light (additive) are red, green, and blue, while the primary colors of inks and paints (subtractive) are cyan, magenta, and yellow [black 'K' is included in printers because it looks better than combining the other 3].
I've also seen the 7 rainbow colors (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet) being called "primary" together.
The red, yellow, and blue combination originated from red and blue having been easier to obtain than cyan and magenta, while being close enough to still be able to make most colors.
@UltraLuigi2401 ok
@UltraLuigi2401 actually there’s no single set of primary colors of light or of paint. Mixing cyan, yellow and magenta you can reach more colors than red, yellow and blue, but there are still colors you can’t obtain. The space of visible colors isn’t a triangle.
1:38 golden ratio 😂😂❤
Tbh, its not even the animation that impresses me the most, its the sound design. The sounds make it all seem so "natrual". Great Work once again!
5:43 I especially love the stop in the music being in sync with the final hit on the shield
@bobbysauce64 damn I didn't even notice that
Good point, he always had a thing for sound design
I was trying to pinpoint what made this video more enjoyable than physics and math. And you hit the nail, it's the sound, the sound in the other too were nothing to sneeze at, but Alan overcame himself with this one
U misspelled natural btw
TSC is gonna wake up in the box being like "So knowing maths wasn't enough, now I know science, geometry, biology, physics, geology, metallurgy, philosophy, politics, javascript, C++, C#, Python, Basic, html, history, strategy, poker, and trumpet. I'm ready."
I wonder what's next
@THEarrasBuddhistChemistry, for particles follow Physics laws
Why in the alan does a TSC need to know trumpet 😂
With the ability to use the goddamn paintbrush and brainpower, you know he's going to somehow create one of, if not, the most powerful ability we have yet so see in Alan's works
Bro, u make my day
Animation vs Coding should be made sometime in the future
@puckisthegoat-k6q you are my sunshine my only sunshine
Yea
Maybe not called coding since thry're all subjects. Maybe animation vs programming fits better.
Actually, I plan to make an animation in this style with the animation, the problem is that I only have animation knowledge, not programming skills XD.
As a programmer I AGREE!
I never thought geometry can be a movie
The platonic solids they make at the end (from 06:26 on) were said to be the thing that the four elements were made of. Tetrahedron = fire (flashes red), octahedron = air (flashes a pale blue), cube = earth (flashes green), icosahedron = water (flashes dark blue) and the dodecahedron was cryptically said "the gods used it for arranging the constellations on the whole heaven" (flashes a golden light). Cue ~3000 years AFTER Plato, and they find genuine hints that the universe might be a dodecahedron (so-called Poincare dodecahedral space, which is what TSC is in at the end).
So you could say that TSC hurled the entire universe at it.
bro its not that deep mabye he just wanted a good videw
@ReeceTrimmer it is deep
I just saw D&D dice
@SylveonGamer700revived SAME
Also the dodecahedron has the Mandelbrot set surrounding it, Mandelbrot set being Infinite possibilities
Edit: nevermind it's the dragon curve, but still could symbolize infinite possibilities
The last one made me appreciate physics as a discipline.
But this. This made me cry. This legit made me tear up in awe. THIS, is the kind of thing which tells a story and still is a better explanation of our achievements in this field and discipline.
Masterclass stuff.

Classic. Deep appreciation for intellect. There's not nearly enough of that.

I'm calling it now: at some point in the current Animator Vs. Animation series, TSC is going to get punted outside of stickspace into whatever dimension this is, and is going to learn to master their powers over reality just the same as The Chosen One. What we're watching right now is a prelude to the climax of the current AvA season.
*gasp* ! Spoilers!? How dare thee
Is bro reading the manga?
@E_ias-f5i 💀💀💀

He's getting stronger each moment.....
As someone who actually liked geometry in high school and the Golden Ratio in college, I thoroughly enjoyed this. It also gave off vibes of things like Tron and Just Shapes & Beats.

Oh cool, I wasn't the only one getting vaguely JSAB vibes from parts of this one! (And it's absolutely awesome, too!)
Don't forget vib-ribbon!
I was also thinking geometry dash
Absoluta cinema❤❤
I may never truly understand math. It's confusing, and complicated.. but this visual representation is so beautiful and is a great reminder why I always liked geometry in school over every other math curriculum. The golden ratio into fractals made me genuinely tear up.
dont you just hate it when a evil multidimensional cube decides to fractalize your shapes
I actually love it.

I love the fact that the video without its intro is 9 minutes long, and the Golden Ratio point in 9 minutes is at 5:56. Right and exactly at the moment when the pentagon appears. If you hover the cursor over the RUclips navigation bar, the thumbnail will light up golden. Coincidence? I don't know, but it's spectacular.
@TheGaboWTF i read this at exactly that moment lmao
Probably not coincidence; the same thing happens if you look at 3:04.
@andrewcasey5116 it is the same but backwards
Nice observation but unfortunately the golden ratio points would be at around 206 (3:26) and 334 (5:34) seconds of an 540 long video.

0:12 Purple and KO😨⁉️
Yeahhh that's what I noticedddd
ye
Purple and king orange are not enemies now they are friends with the group I don't know if you missed a episode but they aren't "evil" anymore
Ok
@Mnbvcxzlkjhgqwertyuiopasdf why is your name
This makes me want to worldbuild a magic system for "math-magicians" in some dystopian cyberpunk setting where magic is achieved by altering the math/geometry/code of reality, and where spells are just equations and functions. Countermagic would be "defining" the functions early or disrupting equations by messing with the formula. Aura constructs could be made out of manipulating geometric wireframes with a "control panel" of functions that define the shapes. Universal constants such as Pi or the Golden Ratio could be the foundations of different schools of magic.
Imagine the school of pi waging war with eulers number xdd, each number would have to tie in with what they are connected to though
imagine the high council or something does calculus
anti life equation
There is a story that reminds me somewhat of this. While not exactly the same, the main character uses math and geometry to expand upon magic that already exists in the world. It's called The Academy's Undercover Professor, it's a Korean story so there is a light novel and a manwa (comic) of it. I quite like the comic, but I hear the light novel gives more detail and is quite good
There's a few Manga that use that premise, but generally don't go too far into depth with it.
Now do animation vs Biology
0:14 Oh no.. Orange is a Line now 😭
@GreysVeryRandomChannel-zc5rm actually his name is the second coming
Wdym
0:16 i see orange trying to come out
@Heloguys1-b5uthat’s his nickname prob
Technically, he always was a line, or at least made out of lines
4:50 gyro's guide to spin
i have a sneaking suspicion that all of these physics, math, etc. are all just orange going through some pseudo-mental training arc to completely unlock and understand his powers.
just a hunch tho
That's DJ's theory over on AVG and it would be so coll if it turns out to be true. Imagine seeing TSC break out all the math and shape weapons against the Agents
@samus159 I feel like Shade Agent would be doing that already if it were possible.
Good theory
@bearturtle6058 none of the agents, nor grey, or TCO or TDL could access it, and eiπ (the letter E from math vs animation) seemed very surprised, like he was just pulled out of a meeting or something only to meet a stick figure, and terrified of the thought of a new being entering their realm they instinctively ran away, on top of that TSC is the only character to have such creative and immense power when using the pencil/drawing art tool. as well as the only character in these weird voids. (besides the math characters like the golden ratio, the forth dimensional monster, and eiπ.)
Animation vs biology next?
6:32 That sound design is insanely clean and good
i love the use of gradients and softer "transparent" colors to show 3d enclosures, and the change of the music style once the big guy starts getting angry..
i also really like how most objects have weight, and that phi can move through any space that has anything to do with itself!! (the golden ratio shapes)
i also adore the way phi's "personality" is like... i cant really describe it well, but phi, like, knows how to utilize its respective field, but also acts intensely curious around orange. specifically the first part, where phi emerges from the radical 3 and is "studying" orange. very opposite of where e was scared of orange.
4:41 that spinning is truly bizzare, kinda makes me want to do a horse race across America for some reason
Gyro was so cool in jjba they added his ability to geometry🗣️🔥💯
@John_Fallout_Vault_111 real
I can spin 'em faster than Yyro
Finally im not the only one who thought of steel ball run
STEAL BALL RUNNN 🗣️🗣️🔥
Absolute geometry ✋😎✋
6:09 is a litteral tower defense😃
poor TSC, escaped the math dimension, nearly created a paradox in physics, and now in geometry
Geometry first then physics
4:53 The boss's music is amazing
you should listen to avenza then!
Avenza honestly went above and beyond with the music here :)
WOW this is incredible!!!
PACKSATANYFGA womp womp
It's like JSAB music giving that geometry is the subject
4:56 That number.... it terrifies me.

*Note:* This analysis is not perfect, and there might be some mistakes. So, if you think I missed something, just reply to me.
Also, this analysis is made from a bunch of other comments, by the way. Kudos to them all!
*UPDATE:* New notes are now added to this comment.
*Footnotes:*
¹ _the square root of 3 is part of the 30°-60°-90° right triangle, with edge length ratios of the short leg (adjacent) being 1, the long leg (opposite) being √3, and the hypotenuse being 2._ (see 02:12)
² _the golden triangle (38°-52°-90°) has a hypotenuse of φ._ (see 02:53)
You did an amazing job, thank you a TON

Very impressive, one more thing that I wonder about (yet know very little of): 08:02 as the 120-cell forms, is that not also a type of fractal that is forming around it? It reminds me of the Julia Fractal, but it's probably a different thing.

Whoa..... Incredible work
8:50 It's Hat TSC from VS Physics that transcended time and space via singularity. Interesting that he manifested himself in an endless sea of reflections after VS Geometry TSC solved his problems and fully unlocked the 3rd Dimension
Bro was already strong enough in his base for powerscaling 😭🙏
Three done. Eight more to go...

@IzincZaduel which ones?
@rohangardiner 4D, 5D, 6D, 7D, 8D, 9D, 10D and 11D.
Geometry teachers: "Today we will be learning.. very advanced shapes.."
Alan Becker: "Geometry, my man! You're gonna learn about it, be confused, and still be happy and entertained! >:D"
My bro went from being an animator to being a teacher in high school 💀 now he’s going to do something like “Animation vs Medicine” Edit: DAYUM i wasn’t expecting these likes. Max ive only gotten like three so this is cool :D

At VidCon 2024, Alan said he wanted to do Animation vs Chemistry, however one of his animators doesn’t know chemistry. Alan also said he wants to do one related to language/spelling.
That's a bummer....
😅😅😅😅
He could bring in the people from crash course as consultants!
All fun in games until duolingo shows up...
Binary (programming language) would be great then
I think this series should be called "Animation vs Education". What do you guys think?
Yes! That's exactly what it is!
I absolutely think it should be called "Animation vs Education".
hmmm maybe Animation vs Science
Animation is also a type of education:)!
Should be

"Well, I'm not Superman, that's for sure. And I'm not Batman, or Spiderman, or Aquaman, or a merman, or a wolfman. I'm not a brahman, or common, or ramen. I'm not a caiman either, so you don't really need to worry about anything. My name is Phi. I guess you could say... I am no man."
I love phi it’s much more chill than e. And it starts getting to the business right away, and telling TSC what to do. I have a theory that after animation vs math e told everyone else that TSC is a friend and now every one of those forms will not be hostile to him since then.
@Ania-cg5rx Good theory! I really wish that they come back somehow since their interaction is very cute! ❤❤
Hell naw ramen is not a man bro
@Ania-cg5rx geometry is just nicer then math in general phi is just chill by nature xompared to E
Ill advised VLR reference

4:59 whyyyy Alan Becker
This video could help me pass geometry next year, it’s extremely hard for me but TSC could definitely make me ace it 💀
For real, my math teacher said RUclips doesn’t help your grades, but she doesn’t know animation vs math carried me

Im taking that in 8th grade next year :p
The end of trilogy
“Don’t give up! Don’t you give up! Why are you quitting there? Just try A little bit harder! No, no, no! Don’t give up! Think of all the people around you and the people cheering you on! You’re almost there! Look at me, it’s -10 degrees and I’m here harvesting Asiatic clams! You have to just try! You will surely accomplish your goal! That’s why you should… NEVAH, GEEV OP!!!”
I just realized something cool that I don't think anyone else pointed out yet. At the end of Animation vs Physics, TSC (the one with the cowboy hat) enters a hyperbolic space, aka a non Euclidean space. The same space at the end of this video that was filled with all the hypershapes, which is why he showed up here!
oh I just thought that was how animation vs physics started because orange fell into the shape when he was spooked by cowboy orange(for lack of a better name) and in animation vs physics it started by TSC falling into that space and we didn't have him fall in animation vs math. but hey maybe its both who knows.
Yup, I think that a neat way to start the physics story
@Sh4dowDiamond It actually *could* be both, due to all the wacky time stuff that happened in Animation Vs Physics. After all, we only really got to see how one "version" (or possibility, if we're going by quantum physics) of TSC helping his past self by dropping the orbs and ropes when he was stuck on the ice. Maybe the other Second Coming possibilities that created the metal rod, magnet, solar system, and other things are actually from other episodes of Animation Vs Education that are yet to come out, and he's "collecting" the other possibilities to complete his self-fulfilling prophecy of getting to the singularity.
What an amazing theory@mssheeba1965
The way we interpret the "fourth dimension of space" is as time. He's looking through time, and sees himself from a past video. At least that's how I interpreted it.
The power of the mighty geodesic prevails. I knew D&D was onto something!
