That type of leg strength is almost unheard of, 500 for 12 reps, beltless, heels touching, standing on a plate…. I cant even imagine what your max would be powerlifting style
This is content, always the same exercises and always putting forward the effort needed... this is how you make progress, same movements and progressing on those. Love you Sam
I’ve watched a lot of influencers, and my dad makes fun of them all, not this guy. My dad actually really likes this guy. And I see why. This guy is straight to the point down to earth. Works hard as hell. I love it
Came for the impressive lifts, stayed for the consistency, personality, and of course the dextrose shakes. Determined to hit a 2 plate bench thanks to you. Keep it up man :)
Been bulking since mid january and im up 23 lbs @ 204lbs ... Cant describe how much value ive gained watching Sam. Im not even playing, ive adopted the 11 sets per body part 2x/week and i have seen insane growth in my power and muscle. Ive also adopted the going by feel for lifts and not going in with a strict plan. That philosphy alone has saved me from numerous injuries especially on leg days that im feeling a little bit weaker. I feel that i have the right to let myself off with the focus on longevity and not feel like a total pussy for backing out of a heavy lift. thank you bro.
I know I'm not only speaking for myself when I say that your content has been such a refreshing and motivating addition to my day. I've been into bodybuilding stuff since early Hodge Twins days, and somehow, the simplicity and genuineness of you and your vids just stands out from the crowd. Keep doing your thing man 🤘🏼
Amazing form!! One of the biggest things that has helped me build muscle has been a custom meal plan from Next Level Diet. I use it every week and I love it!
Thanks to Sam i've been doing sissy squats.Bodyweight only currently and then ease it adding weight doing it smartly. My bodyweight is over 300lbs so 11 reps for me done 4th or 5th in my leg workout is pretty good i think.Yesterday i smashed front squats up to 385lbs. Today i was and still am sore all over my legs and ass. My goal is 4 plates on the front squats. This evening i did a combo of chest/delts and triceps.Tommorow i rest and then smash back on friday.Props for the 5 plates for 12 reps.I thought youd get about 10 tbh.I agree that the basics like squats are going to develop the legs differently/gnarly. I did super heavy leg presses for a very long time up to 1500-1600lbs and my legs dont look as hard as they do now.Thats from a combo of SSB Squats, barbell front squats,db lunges, split squats etc. When i think about it i was limited at a commercial gym when it came to leg equipment and variety.I do miss lying leg curls and seated reverse curls, the latter i do with a band.
My bulk ended at 206 lbs and I’m down to 192 and have never seen these lines and development. This series has motivated me to push the volume and keep training simple. This content is great 🔥
Sam I squatted 275 for 5 reps today and it was a doozy. You just smashed 495 for 12 reps and now I’m more motivated than ever. You’re a god damn BEAST!!
I love that this gym has minimal equipment versus a lot of the other private gyms but he does the most with them and it’s a testament to making no excuses…. Close stance squat heel elevated with 5 plates for reps this dude country strong
Hey sam, just wanna let you know that ever since i started to watch your videos my mentality in the gym and today i managed to hit a big leg pr that i ve been trying to for 1-2 months, i just really wanna thank you for your content because it really does inspires me a lot dude thank you so much
I just wanna say how crazy it is being here while somebody starts to get recognition and subs. It was like 33k a week ago now he’s up to 41 almost. That’s so awesome man
Plus when you are on a plate heels up you always have a slight bend on your knees making the tension insane. I do 315 for 8 like that and the pump is brutal. Like my ankles even get pumped 😂😂
I agree in the beginning, not a lot of people do the ham curls or neglect them , personally I have terrible genetics with skinny legs so I spam the heck outta ham curls it fills my legs up and makes them look more full
Such an inspiration man. Been cutting for about 1.5 months now and I’m starting to have my shoulder vein pop a bit. This is the motivation everyone needs
dude 40k subs now you are absolutely steaming ahead!!! I found you when you had a few hundred you deserve it for sure. Make sure I get my gym time and sulek time daily
The grunts were crazy today keep up the hard work u put in ever day glad to keep seeing these videos after every workout i finish i go straight to youtube to watch em and car talk go crazy to u always giving out good information thanks❤
Love seeing the growth man! I’ll be one of those annoying guys as we would love to see your full day of eating or at least discuss your diet principles.
i strength trained for the first 2 years i lifted and build a decent physique too but im starting to bodybuild now. first time ever doing heel elevated squats i did 315x10. pr w sleeves and belt was 455 so its kinda an ego hit but i really want to build it up to repping 405 this bulk.
Let’s go bro first day back this morning hit legs and did my 11 sets each of quad hamstring and calves now watching this before bed to get hype for push tomorrow
yo for the full day of eating i’m interested in what you eat, what time you eat, macros of the foods, brands of supplements/vitamins,how much water you drink etc. i don’t think you gotta film yourself eating🤣 just some suggestions bro keep it up
Could you explain how to do all your 22 sets per muscle per week. when you have a 4 day split. And train 11 sets once a day? Maybe im missing something.
He doesn't really take days off. So if he does 11 sets today, then does his other workouts next few days, it's been less than a week when he's ready to said muscle group again.
Sam: knows that if you get enough amino acids from your usual meals, no need to add "aminos" to his intra-workout carb/sugar source. Also Sam: autistic obsession about specifically getting dextrose/glucose (monosaccharide) in his post-workout shake even though all the other disacharrides in his sugary intra-workout drink (e.g. Tang or Gatorade). Love this guy
Any opinions on some high tier coaches with alternative opinions based on your chest day philosophy. I know Sebastian Burka is serious about starting off with a fly variation and then moving into the compound lift, would like to hear thoughts
Sam you said it's best to hit every muscle twice a week but is it still fine if it goes over that mark because your split is 8 days and mine is (PPL-rest day-Arnold-rest day) would that be fine or should I cut out one of the rest days
That type of leg strength is almost unheard of, 500 for 12 reps, beltless, heels touching, standing on a plate…. I cant even imagine what your max would be powerlifting style
If he trained powerlifting he could get 700+ easy i think
He’s closing in on Tom platz leg strength
Yeah it’s ridiculous 225 x 10 with that style is hard for me. Can’t imagine 500 x 12 Ridiculous
@@hm-so5xt
I think if he put a belt on and did it powerlifting style he would definitely be mid 700’s
He's fucking 260lbs on a shit load of gear. It's relatively impressive but not freak genetics
Your style of content, training and old school golden era physique are what we need more of
This is content, always the same exercises and always putting forward the effort needed... this is how you make progress, same movements and progressing on those. Love you Sam

And doing this all on a phone. Just shows how little is needed to start.

Sounds like a sponsored ad 💀
Bro botted his comment😭
When Sam is admiring his pump in the mirror and laughs it makes me so happy and motivates me
Even school won’t stop me from watching greatness❤
Not even mom's funeral for me💪🏻
I'm literally in class rn

Oh yeah yeah
I appreciate you’re existence in these times of pussification.

How so?
@@TreeFiddehSeven strayed from my plan cause it was so busy and I feel like my form on some movements are off. Mainly for squat.
My favorite part of your videos is the car talk after the gym. Crazy good vibes man.
Checked earlier. 39.9k. Checked again, new video with 32 views and hit that 40k mark! Great job Sam. Can't wait to watch this after work.
Plus when you are on a plate heels up you always have a slight bend on your knees making the tension insane. I do 315 for 8 like that and the pump is brutal. Like my ankles even get pumped 😂😂
On my cut rn and this guy had made motivating myself to be lean and also work as hard as I do on the bulk so much easier. Thx so much man
These videos really help me throughout my day making me feel pumped, confident and giving me courage to spend my days in the gym. Thank you man💪🏽
I agree in the beginning, not a lot of people do the ham curls or neglect them , personally I have terrible genetics with skinny legs so I spam the heck outta ham curls it fills my legs up and makes them look more full
it’s a great day when sams leg day matches yours
this guy is so underrated… and he’s gorg
Strength training builds more density giving that mature look.
Such an inspiration man. Been cutting for about 1.5 months now and I’m starting to have my shoulder vein pop a bit. This is the motivation everyone needs

Lmao I love how you edited the supersets between leg press and extensions… looks like one massive monster set especially with the grunts 😭😭
Proud Tug 👍
dude 40k subs now you are absolutely steaming ahead!!! I found you when you had a few hundred you deserve it for sure. Make sure I get my gym time and sulek time daily
My favorite lifting content creator right now tbh
I like Sam cuz he doesn’t talk about his “dream house” or “dream car” just lifting!! 💯
These videos always come out at the perfect time
had three exams this week but refuses to get off schedule, f*king motivational
Sometimes I don’t even watch the vid I just like it best utuber

Idk how you don’t sweat like hell wearing what you do and working with that intensity
Could you talk about your diet in detail and explain how you grocery shop for optimal gains.
yo for the full day of eating i’m interested in what you eat, what time you eat, macros of the foods, brands of supplements/vitamins,how much water you drink etc. i don’t think you gotta film yourself eating🤣 just some suggestions bro keep it up
Watching a sam sulek leg day = 5 extra reps on your top set of squats
congrats on 40k! cant wait to see you grow even more!
Everyone requests the "full day of eating" video, but I want the "manic cleaning frenzy" video!
Could you explain how to do all your 22 sets per muscle per week. when you have a 4 day split. And train 11 sets once a day? Maybe im missing something.

Just killed legs yesterday and can barely walk today. After this workout looks like you’ll be feeling the same. Let’s get it!
Sam you said it's best to hit every muscle twice a week but is it still fine if it goes over that mark because your split is 8 days and mine is (PPL-rest day-Arnold-rest day) would that be fine or should I cut out one of the rest days
Prob fine if it feels good
I do the same laundry thing, it usually stays for a few days then I get mad and clean my whole room for an hour.
Today is also my leg day 😤
I love the videos dude I would love to see a QnA about you…would be sick!
40k today, well on the way to 100k no doubt
When you are cutting do you do the same split? I have been trying yours and have been liking it but I feel like I need too many rest days. Any tips?
started doing hamstring curls like you and they're amazing
Also you go to the same gym as and love your videos can’t wait to see more
Is abs the exception to the 20 sets per week as well??
Yes good point, will get into abs
can't relate more to the laundry thing at the end lol
Man your videos are awesome and have a really unique vibe, Keep up the good work brother!❤
Congrats on 40k 🎉🥳
Hitting legs today too, thanks for the vid🫡

Created the most diabolical preworkout, for my C/S day. So strong it made my cat do a backflip
