Absolutely. I can’t watch these new age bodybuilder wannabee influencer gym shark kids. Sam is a old school bodybuilder at heart and is a real down to earth humble kid who just loves bodybuilding.
Facts. I couldn’t really figure out why I actually enjoy his videos, but now you clarified it perfectly lmao. No obnoxiously loud music playing over the video, no annoying cuts to random exercises/“quotes”, and just overall no bullshit. Just as it should be.
As soon as I stopped being so meticulous about my training and just started focusing on increasing intensity, my physique and my workout enjoyment skyrocketed. Thanks to you

Sam is one of the most genuine people out there. He’ll just workout and give good advice while doing it without all the bs, keep doing what you’re doing❤️
I tried your “not standing all the way up” during squats and my god bro, that was the most intense burn I’ve ever felt. You’re a beast for that. Thank you.
Best channel when it comes to raw bodybuilding training and knowledge. All your advice s and suggestions are on point , one of the very few that actually knows how to train and knows what they’re talking about and isn’t in this for the fame or likes on Instagram.
This video sealed it, your little tangents on problems with fitness motivation is right on. Genuinely feel like you bring that golden age spirit to bodybuilding, doing it for the love of the process rather than glorifying being antisocial and insecure about your body. Watching the sissy squats on a day where you're depleted compared to "usual" felt like I was watching the pumping iron scene with Ed Corney and Arnold. Fuck it maybe even a Tom Platz training tape given the 5 plates, absolute madman. 260 is coming.
This is part of what helps the industry. Hard training and busting your ass to get what you want. Chest day for me and I got a nasty pump and I wont be able to do a single push up for the next day. Whatever it takes to achieve your goals, you should do it. Thank you Sam for the great videos. 🔥
After lifting for 10+ years I’ve really felt like I hit a wall with my gains and progress. Since I found your channel it’s really pushed and motivated me to push past those plateaus. I haven’t felt sore after a workout in a long time 😅
10:10 motivation (emotions) vs. discipline (logic). Discipline is always better. Don’t lift because your feel/don’t feel like it. Lift because it’s just what you do to accomplish your goals. No emotions, just do.
Bro, your advice is a godsend. At first, I couldn’t really bring myself to do heavy squats since I’ve had real bad knee issues my entire life, but then it turned to the fact that I have such limited mobility in my hips that it kinda hindered my progress for a while. The standing on a plate thing, fucking genius.
Sam, I absolutely love this video format. It's raw and real with tons of great advice for a lifter like me working to get to 200lbs. Btw, you gotta put together a playlist of these background tracks, they're hype.
“Diet sodas, bit of a controversial subject with all the health nuts. I’ve drank liters in a day and I’m still kickin” 🤣 Mr Sulek you’re a legend sir and legends never die 💪🏼 keep grinding
Really glad I found this channel when I did. I’ve started to approach similar concepts in terms of fundamentals and intensity but your videos totally cemented them. Great content bro 👍🏼
This guy is going go to be huge. He'll ya bro. I'm watching the old videos just for old intro music. Reminds me of this time I was going to watch this guy before work. Old times of not trying anything. Thanks Sam.
@@rxspy5105 depends if his a noobie or on peds then it makes sense, but if you are intermediate natty that's in a massive surplus they will just get fat.
@@csrxmyedits ive been training for years.. i just started counting macros a few months ago . 4100 - 4500 cals per day for a few months. i ditnt gain much fat actually its going good
Sam, thanks for introducing me into heel elevated squats. I'm finally feeling my quads and my lower back and abductors and feeling better now. Keep doing what your doing.
Something that is known to put into perspective and has helped me in other parts of my life is that the processes take time and are often monotonous. but the important thing is the consistency and desire that you put into these processes and goals. sam ypu are a goat.
Honestly I just want to say you’ve helped a lot first with the elevated squat I saw it on your tiktok and tried it and it feel amazing. The same with the lean forward seated hamstring curl currently one of my favourite exercises
There's never been many fitness "creators" I can watch, but your raw videos are always nice to watch. Just some advice once the bulk is over, I would recommend making videos no longer than 20 minutes or atleast mix it up here and there, you would reach a much larger audience doing so, anyways keep it up man!
" ostarine and cardarine" why? lol. you either take AAS if you want gains quickly but are wiling to risk side effects. Or just focus on eating the right food, sleeping 8 hrs and training hard. Dont waste your money on nonsense supps.
On the road to 160 rn, I’m 14 currently 137 started at 120 in November. Love your videos man, I’ve been putting a lot of your advice in my training love the series, big idol 🫵
Update about your leg curl tip, from “spring bulk day 58 legs” vid, with sitting upright, I definitely feel it more on my hamstrings and I’m forever doing it this way, thanks
my knees are shot from the military so today my legs didnt really allow me to squat or press. Started with heavy lying hamstring curls, then to single leg standing curls. after I just did a superset of heavy leg extensions 8 sets for like 15 reps followed by 10 reps each leg of walking lunges. killer pump, killer workout. Kept it intense and heavy like you always say. Nice and simple
i like that you talked about the negative mindset and how that turns to body dis morphia. even the fact that you said you dont know exactly how to change that mindset or w/e. either way just talking about it helps i think. Like you cant build a positive life with a negative mind. I believe in the light and the dark. you cant run from the shadows and the darkness, but you can figure out how to come to terms with that side of you, and incorporate it, you can utilize that to harness more positive shit. Its much easier to hate yourself, than love yourself, same with others. Hate comes way too easily in contrast to love. anything good and loving in life takes work. and effort. and intensity
Note: one can build big legs with low-bar back squats, but usually at the cost of greater fatigue under heavier loads (more injury risk), so if you want to build bigger quads more quickly with better stimulus-fatigue ratio, then try out a higher bar squat, more upright torso, more knee flexion, elevate heels if you need to for your anthropometry.
this channels a breath of fresh air with the lack of adhd inducing edits and abundance of genuine advice and tips

This dude squatted 495 for a set of 10 beltless with his feet close together and heels on a plate. That is an insane feat of strength
He has some insane strength. He could hit a single in the 700s if he wanted to and thats conservative.
