I really like these type of videos. They are straight to the point, the explanations are easy to understand and the examples are very helpful to see too. 👌
Oddly enough, I was watching your wing back 'know your role' video earlier which helped me tweak my Leicester City full backs to a FB-A role instead of using WB. This video really does back up that choice, really useful.
Very thorough and clear explanation between the 2 roles, especially the examples that you mentioned in the video, gives us a more clearer idea of the differences between these 2 roles. Would love to see you analyzing the movements and differences between Wide Midfielders and Defensive Wingers. Quite rare to have these 2 roles in most of the tactics.
Another great video. I think WB in a 4 man defence can work if you ask your CB to stay wider but you need the right players otherwise you get smashed down the flanks😅
A really underused role is the WB or FB on Automatic! you can select whichever player instructions you like to help it fit your tactic. for instance, you could give the WB on Auto the same instructions as the WB on ATK but tell him to cross from deep instead of byline etc.
I understand that a wingback is a more aggressive player on the flank as compared to a fullback. But would a wingback on defend duty still be a dominating sort of presence out on the flanks ? Or would I be better off playing a fullback on support with personal instructions to replicate some of the features of a wingback?
I have to tactics where I use full backs on attack in one, and inverted full backs on support. Should I train those players as complete wing backs so they can transition between both roles easily?

Loved that explanation Stinger, particularly the in-game movements of each role. I like those overlaps of the WB personally!
Great vid as always!

Thank you! I'll definitely put it on the list
Great insight mate! Nobody better in-match than Stinger.
Too kind mate
Very clear and helpful. Thank you.
WB(A) scare the life out of me. All about that WB(D) life for me. Great video!
Great explanation and example of the roles 👏

I agree 100%
I use stinger remix with inv fb on atk with overlap instruction on. I find the movement interesting. Could you do a video on that too??
Cant wait for your take on the Sheffield united 3 at the back tactic. Hope it has wide cbs and/or a libero
What about fullback on attack and wingback on support? Which one goes upfield more and which one is more defensively reliable?

Great point that not many know about 👍
Love this vid! This has always been a straight dilemma for me 😋
Great video! Really enjoy a mix of a wb and a fb on the other side.
Thank you man! Solid set up that
Great vid Stingerman
Thanks Cam

Wingback will naturally be a little bit higher even on defend. Although they won't leave their position as much so its a good safe bet
can you make video about the differences between inside forward and inverted winger
Yes sir sure can

Great idea yes
Nice vid!
Love your content Neil😊
That 433 tactic looks killer by the way. Any plans for a video on it?
Probably not Gurdeep as it was made for online P v P games and isnt suited for matches against the computer
Wingback on automatic is a game changer
Great option for sure
Very helpful as always. KUTGW!
Thanks again dude
I personally find IWB on support the better option. They join the midfield and still overlap
My favourite role
What about complete wingback?
There's a video in the know your roles playlist about the different wingbacks 👍

Thanks for subbing! Much appreciated
wing back or full back always have terrible match rating, unless they get an assist or goal which is not a daily event
