I started both the Farseer Triology and Murderbot because of you, and both are 10 out of 10! Me and my husband are listening to the audio for Murderbot (highly recommend) and are also on the first full length novel
I started the Realm of the Elderlings series because of you and it has literally become my favorite series of all time. I'm so happy you're this series advocate!! I wouldn't have found it without you
I finally picked up the Beautiful Ones after you'd recommended it several times and I LOVED! The yearning! The pain! It's like Bridgerton with a lil magically dusting
I read the farseer trilogy this year, and I loved it. I didn't expect to like Robin Hobb that much! I loved the characters, writing style, and story, and I, too, feel very connected to Fitz and his companions. I'm so looking forward to the books ahead 😊. And to mention, it's thanks to you that I got curious and started this series. You kept presenting it so often in a highly positive manner that I got convinced to start it 😁.
You and Talking Story have convinced me to prioritize the Farseer Trilogy for next year - so I hope that makes your day. This is How You Lose the Time War was a five star read for me this year too - it was such a beautiful balance of sci fi and love and intrigue. I just put The Beautiful Ones on my list of books to read the week between Christmas and New Year. I want to THANK YOU for influencing me to read Murderbot - it was a surprise hit of his year for me! I'm on book five and hope to finish out the series early in 2025. As much as I want to read Joe Abercrombie - my TBR for next year is already full lol. Great list!
That you started with Robin Hobb made my day, they are my absolute favourites, hands down! Yes yes yes. It makes me feel very old to think I first read assassin's apprentice as a young teenager 20 years ago! 😬🤯
I will definitely read Robin Hobb sometime, hopefully this coming year. I don’t know if this will make for a great day for you, but at least a hopeful one😊. I really like T Kingfisher so I will read more from her for sure.
just found your channel and I have been WAITINGGG to find a creator like you that shares similar taste in fantasy/romance as me 😭 excited to catch up with the rest of your content! 😊
Found a slightly roughened up trade paperback for birnam wood the day before yesterday at a book fair I went to with my bestie and I was SO surprised, because book fairs usually never have books on my tbr ahaha
Robin hobb mega fan here because of your videos. Book 11 so far, but I'm just "allowing" myself 1 book a month in order to bask and savour the beauty of Hobb's writing. The Murderbot is a great series, fun, action packed with great, well developed characteres. Thank you Regan.
This is How You Lose the Time war is one of my favorites of the year. I read it, got confused, started understanding and then was left absolutely speechless. I wish I could study this book in a class!!!
I’ve just finished book No 9 by Robin Hobb. Cannot wait to read the last ones. Thankyou so much for recommending these books. All time favourites for me.
I really enjoyed This is How You Lose the Time War and Thornhedge. I still need to read The Beautiful Ones. I love Silvia Moreno Garcia's writing and don't know why I haven't gotten to it yet.
I need to reread All Systems Red. I really enjoyed Murderbot's character, but I could NOT follow the plot, which is very unusual for me, so I'm like 90% sure something was going on at the time that was too distracting. I've only ever heard good things, so I gotta make another attempt. Thanks for all your recommendations! My to-read list is so long because of you. 😂
Oneee dayyyy I'll read Farseer😂 What Moves the Dead is on my TBR as my first T. K. I literally just finished This Is How You Lose the Time War was good, but I didn't love it like everyone else did 😢 Nothing from SMG, EC, MW, JA on my TBR but I'll revisit that in 2025.
Seeing the Realm of the Elderling Series behind you: I can trust this person with my life. It's the first book you recommend: Aaand I can trust the rest of your recommendations now
I really want to read Robin Hobb’s books but they are a bit intimidating to me with how long the series is. I own the first three already though. So I will read it soon.
Have you read Naomi Novick’s A deadly education? It’s the first book of a trilogy about a magical school, it’s kind of like if Hogwarts itself was trying to kill the students, I loved all of them!
I would absolutely recommend The Tapestry series if you haven’t read it already! The first book starts off as kinda a Harry Potter copy cat but by the second book it really starts to morph into its own thing. It’s one of my favorite series
Thank you for your consistency throughout all these years!!! Your dedication doesn’t go unnoticed! ❤ merry Christmas!

IT DOES MAKE MY DAY
@@PeruseProject Good, I'm so glad. And when Hobb makes me cry - I'm blaming you both. (Who am I kidding, I'm going to love the hurt.)
@@michelleizocoGodspeed. Honey, you've got a big storm coming ❤

I'm always willing to try a book you enjoyed. I'd say 8 out of 10 of them I also love.
Can we bring back bookshelf tours?

Thanks for all your recommendations! My to-read list is so long because of you. 😂
I’ve read NONE of these 😅
birnam wood was so good. Juts finished it today
Can you make a holiday reading list for someone who barely reads contemporary novels?
Oneee dayyyy I'll read Farseer😂 What Moves the Dead is on my TBR as my first T. K. I literally just finished This Is How You Lose the Time War was good, but I didn't love it like everyone else did 😢 Nothing from SMG, EC, MW, JA on my TBR but I'll revisit that in 2025.
I 💯agree with The Beautiful Ones!!❣️❣️❣️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Are you going to pick up the next in the series of the Sword Catcher ? The Ragpicker King.

I loved the Farseer trilogy but I can't get into the Liveship Traders trilogy at all! Can I just skip those books and move onto the next books?
I can sense how hooked u are to those books to the point of eating them up! U must have devoured them.
totally unrelated but plsssss tell me where this super cozy sweater you’re wearing is from!
WHat a great selection, thanks!
I really want to read Robin Hobb’s books but they are a bit intimidating to me with how long the series is. I own the first three already though. So I will read it soon.
This is How You Lose the Time War: sounds intriguing.
Ooh I got here when the video was out for 7 minutes ^^
Robin Hobb is a priority read author for me for 2025 😊😊
yessssss
50 seconds ago is actually insane 😅
Can anyone recommend me a book or to show that’s similar or better than Harry potter series
😅I’m a big fan of HP and still can’t get over it
Have you read Naomi Novick’s A deadly education? It’s the first book of a trilogy about a magical school, it’s kind of like if Hogwarts itself was trying to kill the students, I loved all of them!
The Morrigan Crow series by Jessica Townsend is the closest to Harry Potter vibes that I have ever read.
I would absolutely recommend The Tapestry series if you haven’t read it already! The first book starts off as kinda a Harry Potter copy cat but by the second book it really starts to morph into its own thing. It’s one of my favorite series
❤️📚
🤍💛🤍🤍💛🤍🤍
I need to get into Robin Hobb in 2025z great informative video 🫶🏽⭐️
I really didn’t find Byrnam Wood to be good. It’s actually on my list of my worst books of 2024 🥲
