February's also got Emily Wilde's Compendium of Lost Tales which I'm looking forward to very much! I put all of your books on my TBR, they all sound fantastic.
Can’t wait for so many of these as well! Especially Water Moon, Oathbound, A Drop of Corruption, The Knight and the Moth, Bury Our Bones in the Midnight Soil, and The Possession of Alba Diaz! Some other anticipated releases for me include The Baby Dragon Cafe, Onyx Storm (yeah…), the third Emily Wilde book, Say You’ll Remember Me, Great Big Beautiful Life, My Friends, and A Witch’s Guide to Magical Innkeeping!
Excited for the 2025 releases! Hope I can read some of them this year 'cause one of my resolutions is to go trough my tbr pile of books, thank you for this new video!
Some of those books you mentioned sound interesting! I am also looking forward to Ragpicker King and Bury Our Bones in the Midnight Soil. Other books I am looking forward to are: Stars of Chaos vol 5, Husky & His White Cat Shizun vol 8-9, Ballad of Sword & Wine 4-5, SOS Hotel: On the Road, and several others lol.
Martha Wells has fast become one of my favourite authors. I absolutely look forward to reading Queen Demon, as well as working my way through some of her olderbooks (I need to get the Raksura short story collections). I'm stoked TOR announced they will be releasing omnibus collections of the Murderbot books :D
I'm the most excited for A Drop of Corruption and The Strength of the Few. Howrver, I am also looking forward to The Ragpicker King and then Faithbreaker by Hannah Kaner. If Alecto the Ninth comes out this year, I will scream. I listened to all three books last year and am in the process of doing so again already. :)
I cannot begin to tell you how hyped I am for The Devils! Thank you so much for telling me about all the other new releases though! Need to add some of these to my TBR! 😊
I already read and loved "Death of the Author", "Water Moon", "A Drop of Corruption". My most anticipated releases not mentioned are "All Theat We See or Seem" by Ken Liu and "The Last Contract of Isako" by Fonda Lee, "Psycopomp & Circumstance" by Eden Royce and not confirmed the second volume of "Amina al- Sirafi" by Shannon Chakraborty.
Not to nitpick, but Nnedi is pronounced Ned-Dee, not Ne-nen-di. I really love this list! It’s got some of my most anticipated (I need Drop of Corruption so bad!) but I’m already adding more to my list
I started reading a lot of James Patterson at the start of this year because of the Cross Prime Video series. While the series was bad, the books based on the show were actually thrilling.
I read the new Adrienne Young book, A sea of unspoken things, and it was so beautiful. You should also read the new Sue Lynn Tan book, Immortal. Those 2 are up there with Half a Soul by Olivia Atwater. All 3 got 5 stars from me and they seem to match your vibe.
Swordcatcher was my favorite read of last year, and any time I read a bad romantasy I go back to it to read my favorite parts of the romance in it. It was that good. Although I am a bit stressed about the second book since there will be spice. Cassandra said it is the most explicit book she has written yet and I tend to be a bit skeptical about spice 🙊
I think my most anticipated books are Overgrowth by Mira Grant and Hemlock and Spring by T. Kingfisher. I’m also very exited for Ragpicker King and Sunrise on the Reaping.
I can't help but wonder if the reason I have almost ALL of these books pre-ordered is because of your influence OR if we're just aligned. And yes - I felt the same way about Witch King and cannot wait for the sequel. (I also thought it was going to be a standalone.)
Books I'm looking forward to that were not on your list The Sirens' Call by Chris Hayes (this is nonfiction) Autopsy (of an Ex-Teen Heartthrob) by Avan Jogia (poetry book) Deep End by Ali Hazelwood Retreat by Krysten Ritter Lawless: How the Supreme Court Came to Run on Conservative Grievance, Fringe Theories, and Bad Vibes by Leah Litman (this is nonfiction) The Lure of Their Graves by Laura R. Samotin (this is the second book of the The Cursed Crown series) Ascension by S.T. Gibbsion (This is the second book of the The Summoner's Circle series) The Maiden and Her Monster by Maddie Martinez The Haunting of William Torn by Ben Alderson Savage Blooms by S.T. Gibbsion
February's also got Emily Wilde's Compendium of Lost Tales which I'm looking forward to very much! I put all of your books on my TBR, they all sound fantastic.
I am also so stoked for Silverborn! It's been so long and it's finally almost here! I might do an audio reread of the first three to get ready.
I'm so hyped for Nevermoor!! 🥰 It's the perfect middle grade fantasy series 🩷
My TBR list is creaking and swaying after this video. So many great releases!

It’s The Dark Mirror, Samantha Shannon’s fifth Bone Season book, that I’m super stoked for!

Wait I didn't know we were gonna have a sequel to Witch King I am so happy!! I added a lot of these to my tbr 😊
Water Moon is indeed dreamy, whimsical but also dark and heavy at times. Very good read for winter indeed. Lots to dig into should you want to.
I’m surprised that The Raven Scholar isn’t in your list!! I’m super intrigued by that one and I think it could be right up your alley!
I read the ARC of Water Moon and it was beautiful!!!
I cannot begin to tell you how hyped I am for The Devils! Thank you so much for telling me about all the other new releases though! Need to add some of these to my TBR! 😊
I’m super excited for The Ragpicker King, Rebel Witch and the third Empire of the Vampire book! 😍

My most anticipated release of 2025 is Backhanded Compliments by Katie Chandler! It looks like it's gonna be the book of the summer for me! :D
Amazing summary. Put almost all of them in my cart.
Thanks for all the suggestions! I'm excited for Faithbreaker by Hannah Kaner, the last in the Fallen Gods series (Godkiller #1, Sunbringer #2).

I’m so excited for Lightfall!
I love the new cover for The Will of the Many 🙈😂
Not to nitpick, but Nnedi is pronounced Ned-Dee, not Ne-nen-di.
I really love this list! It’s got some of my most anticipated (I need Drop of Corruption so bad!) but I’m already adding more to my list
A drop of courruptions cover is so different than the first books

Good list!
Currently reading Water Moon. Bonus because the art is done by one of my favorite artists Haylee Morice!
I am reading Grady Hendrix’s new one now I am 156 pages in and am loving it
Starting Lightfall tonight 🥰
Are you still reading the Keeper of the Lost Cities series? Hopefully book 10 comes out this year!
I can't help but wonder if the reason I have almost ALL of these books pre-ordered is because of your influence OR if we're just aligned. And yes - I felt the same way about Witch King and cannot wait for the sequel. (I also thought it was going to be a standalone.)
Very off topic: i love your lamp! Do you remember where you got it? ❤
I think there’s a 100 books on my 2025 anticipated releases. I just want to read everything.
I’ve read eleven of these already 🤫

The Sirens' Call by Chris Hayes (this is nonfiction)
Autopsy (of an Ex-Teen Heartthrob) by Avan Jogia (poetry book)
Deep End by Ali Hazelwood
Retreat by Krysten Ritter
Lawless: How the Supreme Court Came to Run on Conservative Grievance, Fringe Theories, and Bad Vibes by Leah Litman (this is nonfiction)
