Bought iPhone XS gold today.
I got my XR in Oct 2019 and I probably won’t upgrade for a few more years. Once my battery dips below 80% (it’s at 88) I’ll get the battery replaced for $69. Better and cheaper than upgrading. The phone is a beast.

i've been dreaming of getting an iphone someday. i worked to have the money and get myself the XR. i have more than enough now to get pre-loved ones, but i can't bring myself to buy it. im 19 and i feel guilty of buying such an expensive one while my parents' have cheaper phones :< im just gonna wait til my phone gets really old. (its almost 3 yrs now). for now, ill just watch unboxing videos.. bc someday, im gonna get that, I'll be back once i have it 🥺

@@DahPigIsAround yes , I was using my moms iPhone and the lag of Haptic Touch is pretty noticeable compared to 3D Touch it’s almost instant

I use the XS everyday. I bought it recently refurbished and it is amazing. I have upgraded my iPhone 8 which broke.

@@shrikepsd only showing specs which are better on XS. XR has better battery life due to higher capacity and lower screen resolution. But yet I think the battery life difference between XS and XR is minimal.
I’m starting to question your reviews. 10r is a beast. I got mine when they first came out, 256 gigs and battery is at 97 % .

I’m upgrading to an iPhone XS from an iPhone 7+ which has been an great phone but I’m starting to have issues with battery and storage. Thanks to this video. I feel I made the right decision. Yessir except I only got 64 gigabytes 🗿 but I only used 20/64 gigs
how long does the battery last usually?
@@anegriproductions My battery lasts all day long. By the time I get home in the evening around 7:30pm. My battery is around 52% if I don’t plug it in the car while driving home.

I was thinking on buying Xr, but I considered the purpose why I'm buying a new phone (I NEEDED WIDE SHOT THAN MACRO SHOT), so I decided to purchase iphone 11 instead, great battery, size fits to my hands and it has wide shot feature 😍
After using the iPhone 12 for a few months I definitely miss the rounded corners. Did not think I would, but I miss the more comfortable grip. X/XS & XR/11

I change mi xs for the xr the main reason was the battery and the screen. I don’t use the camera a lot and if you put the cases in both you can’t see any difference so I so happy to get the xr

Holding onto my XR until Apple releases an iPhone with a 120hz display and in screen fingerprint reader
I don’t mind Face ID on my iPhone 12 (Upgraded from a 4 year old 6s) but a 120 hz screen would be awesome.
i can imagine apple will only put a 120hz display into their top pro models for 1000$+

Why?? I have had my xs max 64 gb dice launch and the software the same among ask those phones. The main reason why I haven't upgraded yet. Also because the displays haven't changed to my eye. I hope 120 hrz finally.

The problem I see with buying either of these phones used is the battery health. My XR, which I bought in 2018, has 92% battery health. And at that level, I get a lot less of battery life during the day. I generally have to charge every day, vs every 2 days when it was new. I also see some degradation in performance. So, if you buy one of these used, it would probably be best to pay to have Apple install a new battery. That ups the price of both phones.
I bought a brand new iphone xs on January 2019, now it has 86% battery helath 😢
But i didn't notice any perfomance degration. I might have to replace the battery at the end of this year.
Haha. When I had to get a new battery for my iPhone 6s I replaced it by myself. I bought a new battery online and a freakin' kit with tools.
I just watched a guide on youtube and I fixed it by myself with no problems!
Try that and you'll save a lot of money!

That depends on what apps you use during that SOT. Some apps drain more battery than others. 1 hour of iMessage isn’t the same as 1 hour of PUBG.
Just Google phone repair in your area and get battery replacement in back at 100% and mines still kicking just fine won't be upgrading no time soon

I just ordered a pre-owned XS to replace my SE 2020's poor battery life.
This is after considering the price which I could affort to pay $348.00 maximum for the XS 64Gb. Was considering the XS Max or 11 but my wallet is already dying. Lol!

@@Mr_Mack88 on OLED screens, black wallpapers save your battery because the black parts of the screen turn off completely and save more energy, so white or bright wallpapers will drain the battery faster
