Your XS has a aftermarket display not sure if you know. I bought one renewed and it came with a aftermarket LCD display, so ended up returning it and getting a XR.

XS and it’s not even a comparison. Better than the other 2 in every way. Idk how the average person doesn’t notice the difference in the screen. This is why going to the base 11 is so tough, because the X and XS screen is miles better than the LCD panel. Less sharp, worse contrast, more glare, and off-angle viewing kills the picture. I also prefer the slightly smaller phone.
X and XS are smaller so they're better to handle, also OLED so even if they have less mAh the screen is gonna save more battery. XR is just bad, worse screen and 6.1". I would choose refurbished XS as it has a better chip and is more recent.
@@Enrikoh I agree.. but the pics I'm getting with the 11 I could never get on the X or XS- the night mode, the ultra-wide, deep fusion. But yea the screen is trash and the size is just a little too big.

@@alexb3831 simple, oled displays constantly flicker, which your eyes dont pick up, which can be more harmful to your eyes, LCD screens dont flicker

I have the 10, 10s and 10r, and i can tell you as a nontechnofile that I don’t see a difference between the oled and the led screens.
For my eyes i just don’t see it. Ive had one phone that had the 120 refresh rate and could not tell the dif between it and a 60. For i think a majority of us. The 60 is more than adequate and more is just lost because we cant see it. Part of the reason i think the iPhone 14 max is going to have wings. It’s not going to be oled, but it will be more than adequate for the majority of those looking for a good apple experience on the large screen size.
Coming from a person who thinks a 7 and 7plus are perfectly fine phones for 2022, the 7 needs a battery case with wireless charging to really do the job and a new 100% health battery. And the 7plus just needs a new battery with 100% health and a wireless charging case to pass muster.
Honestly nothing wrong with either by performance. There were just a couple things the 7s didn’t get that make them really usable today.
Was watching a vid yesterday. In the vid they said when your battery health drops below 80% all you can do is buy a new phone 🤦♂️.
Seriously NOT. First thing is to ask yourself. Other than battery life am I still happy with my phone? And if the answer is yes. Just get the battery replaced.
Some people are such shills for apple. But this holds for Samsung or any other. If your battery is the only problem why spend hundreds on a new phone.

Don’t game. But if I had to guess…..
I’d say the Xs or Xs Max.
The Xr is the lower grade model of the three.
So if you are looking for best performance of the three, I’d guess, one of those two.
If you can't tell the difference between 60 and 120 hertz, I am not surprised about the other
In which case you aren’t observant enough to notice a difference and that is fine. The OLED screens (especially newer like on the 12 pro and 13 pro) are far brighter (literally twice the nit count) therefore twice and bright. They are also pretty much twice as sharp. Put all phones on max brightness and watch some ‘4k HDR’ content on RUclips and you’ll be blown away at the difference. Trust me, I’ve seen it firsthand and it is night and day.
Plus the contrast difference is gargantuan. The xr and 11 have really good LCD displays but OLED can achieve true blacks. On dark content you can get so much more shadow detail on the OLED’s

The iPhone XS was the last S iPhone. After that, Apple no longer releases S iPhones anymore.. That’s why the iPhone 13 is called the iPhone 13 instead of the iPhone 12 S

Get the x. It has reached a point where i call it budget phone. You can pick a good x device for less than 350 bucks (one that will last). As i was in the same predicament as you. I had 7 and upgraded to the x. And i tell you you wouldn’t notice the difference between the x and xs in day to day use if you simply dont care or arent a phone “geek”.
