I’ve had the Max since 2018, can’t believe how quickly time flies. The phone’s still amazing tho, apart from the battery and some heating issues.
Same. Been experiencing alot of heating recently. Wasnt there like a month ago but battery is decent for me it lasts a day with medium use

@@RithikaV yeah my battery health is 82% now, still usually lasts me the entire time I’m not at home, so I’ve never had to use a power bank. But the heat is smth that can’t be dealt with, in my case at least. I live in Pakistan and the summers are hot asf here, nothing can be done about that. Even most of the battery health loss I’ve had was during the summer season every other year.

I noticed 15.5 has drained a lil bit of my battery and has warmed up my XS Max a bit. The firmware before that was pretty much perfect in terms of battery and heat!
That’s why I’ve been waiting forever for a 15.5.1 or the 15.6 update.
The XS Max indeed is a great value and looks dope! With the 512 GB SSD it is ready for the next years!

There was an apple warehouse clearance sale at my place old new stock it was going for around 385 USD and i missed it i was so heartbroken. Went another time and gotten an 11 pro max instead at 658 USD open box condition means a customer rejected it. Was a very very tiny micro scratch on it barely can see it otherwise it's practically new so I'm quite happy now although i still missed that xs. There is something special about this era of iphones makes me coming back and not feeling missing out on the current ones. If you do get one it's a keeper for sure.
Honestly love love the video ! I bought the Xs for 1.5k with 256gb Storage hahah when it came out and now my sis has it and works perfectly fine! 4years phone and still a beast
upgraded from a s8+ with lots of cracks to xs and here’s what i have to say, it has an amazing design and even though it was second hand and 92 battery health, it could easily last me a day, and for speed, it’s amazing since i came from an s8+, def recommend!
I really like the XS. It’s a fantastic phone… I take fantastic photos with it and I think I’ll be with it for more 1 or 2 years, depending the updates it will receive

Yes! The XS Max/11 Pro Max was my absolute favorite size iPhone! The 13 Pro Max 6.7 with squared edges makes a difference, and it seems a bit too big. But the 13 Pro feels a bit too small sometimes as well. I wish apple could bring back that 6.5 size..
I have XS Max and battery is great at 92%. Keeps working great and I do not see why I would pay $1300 plus for a 14 Pro Max. My phone is great, thanks for your review.

Bought it the day before yesterday, I've been using the k20 pro and before that the poco f1 so it's a huge jump in quality for me. I love the high resolution oled and the battery isn't as bad as they say, it's actually on par with my 2 year old k20 pro which always got me throughout the day
also have the k20 pro but now its broken thinking ill buy the Xs too.
I am an iPhone XS user and actually bought this phone this year as a used one,I never had an iPhone before and the experience it gives me is kinda awesome,for RUclips videos Spotify Netflix instagram and stuff like that the phone is perfect I also play some games but you get the point

I just ordered a XS in gold in mint condition for $317. I considered getting an iPhone 14 pro, but ultimately I didn't want to spend $1200 on a phone. So I got the XS for the more compact design and the great OLED screen. I usually go with a few years old flagship iPhone because you still will get a few years of support. Plus I was a huge fan of the 3D touch and wish they didn't get rid of it. I'm hoping everything is as advertised. Because if so I'll be using the XS for 2-3 years until I have to upgrade.
same with me. I'm debating between XS or 13 mini. I prefer smaller phones. SE 3 is nice, but I just don't like the way it feels, coming from a 2016 SE, so my decision is becoming of me. Currently testing XS battery wise to see if I can get a days out of it, cause with SE i do get a day. hardly use the phone so no sense in spending soo much on phone to collect more dust than used
@@dbzownz12345 I had the 13 mini and I was very disappointed with it. I got the XS now and it does get me through a work day. The refurbished one I got was 87 percent on battery health and I do wind up having to use low power mode to get through a work day.
@@crazyfun5150 I've just done a test on both phones. 1 hour of youtube consistantly on LTE cost the XS - 44% battery. 13 mini drained 25% using LTE. Wifi the XS lost roughtly 33% and mini lost 22%. Mind you, XS is 80%BH and mini is 100% BH. Both on ios 15.4/15.5. Dissappointed in the mini. Can only get 4 1/2hrs out a brand new phone on youtube before dead. I watch all these other videos on YT & so confused how they get 6hrs+ on mini. Think I got a lemon

I had my iPhone XS since 2019. Over the years of owning iPhones, I always felt the urge that I have to upgrade every year and a half. That is until now that I finally said to myself, Apple, I’m done with you as a company being persuasive in telling customers that you have to upgrade your iPhone every other year. I have always been more interested in the software of iOS rather than the physical designs of iPhone. Yes I miss the small hand friendly devices of the iPhone 4 and 5 days, and could I have held onto my iPhone 8 4.7” screen device, but overall iPhones these days have become so alike. Yes, there might be a few differences and features, but otherwise they work the same.

@@zahurulislam5044 either one would do since they both were released in 2018. You would have to look at the used market for these iPhones. They’ll continue to get software updates for with my guess the next three years. The only difference is the iPhone XR is a 6.1’ display and only a wide angle single lens camera, the iPhone XS on the other hand has a 5.8’ screen, a wide angle and a telephoto camera. Both phones have the A12 Bionic processor.

I’m currently using my XS. I’ve been using it for 1 1/2 years. I’m waiting til September to get 14 pro. Plus by that time it’ll be 2 years. I’ll be ready for an upgrade!! But I love my XS.
i got mine last may and still working so smooth, i think it will last for a few years and i will stick with my xs until last ios update.

Yes the xs max is still buttery smooth I purchased one for my mom for about $350 a 64gb replaced the battery and it still can do everyday tasks on it with a breeze with still having iOS support the xs or max is a great phone still

My iphone xs is still in great shape and trust me it is still a great and powerful phone this 2022 and i also have no issue with it

It's still a fantastic buy especially when you consider it's still slightly more powerful than the most powerful Android phones, that's how far ahead iphone cpus are.

I've been using my XS since 2019 and the devise is still solid. I runs smooth, no heating, and the camera is pretty dope. My only complain is its battery life which seems to deplete pretty fast these days.
I bought my iPhone XS 256gb version month ago and its a Beast device and very powerful phone

@@viperbot2547 Usually around 4-5 hours of screen on time with 86% battery health. I switched to Samsung a month ago though but that's because I never had a chance to use Android flagships before.

Xs is way better. Oled display, and better camera. That 1x zoom with 4k 30 is what makes RUclips videos look the way they do.💯 especially when your looking into the camera talking.

I owned the XS for 2 years now, I can say it is overall a solid performer, battery is above average (enough for me to not complain or think about it), only 64gb is kinda small for today standards , so get the 256gb and it will be perfect for you

I’ve had my Xs max since it came out and the only thing I regret is that I didn’t get the bigger storage option. But I refuse to buy another iPhone until I stop getting updates. Along side my daily driver z fold 2. It’s a great combo. But yeah don’t let apple fool you apples iOS experience is the same 🤣

This is the last iPhone without the apple new color pallet that I find horrible, my XS at night aways get the correct skin tone over my girlfriend 11 pro max or my friend 12 mini, the new ones look “greenish”, I am not sure why nobody notice this.

Depends on what you’re looking for, both or great phones but with the max you’ll get more storage, a bigger screen, an amoled panel, stainless steel build (more premium), an extra GB of RAM and a telephoto lens. With the 11 you’re getting a slightly improved processor (the difference is negligible irl), a wide camera and a newer body.

BUT! nick my man... your nails... it's not the first time when I see this in one of your videos. and I understand very clearly that it can be many reasons and circumstances about this. but still, you're creating content which is taken very near to your hands and any detail can be seen. and seeing those nails is not the best sight... I mean... If you’re not a tech nerd and barely use your phone, then it’s a great buy. Otherwise, it’s getting pretty old.
Currently using its cheaper sibling the Xr..perfect screen size and since my eye can’t take much with OLED screen..LCD is a to go for me..and man its a right decision fir me..although the only thing that i regret is not getting a 256gb version..128gb just seem not enough..

I’m really enjoying my XR since it’s my first iPhone but man I do miss the vivid colors from an oled screen… I just hope I can stay with this phone for at least 3 years without any issues

I just bought my phone a week ago from backmarket and I think this phone is great. I had a op7 pro and a pixel 4xl before. I been watching a ton a of speed test compared to some newer iPhones and some other Samsungs and either it’s alittle better or it’s right on the tail of some newer iPhones. When it comes to price there is no comparison it’s worth every penny.

I've been an android user for ten years but I'm switching to apple because of the software and security updates apple provides its customers that are holding onto older iphones. I'm getting sick of android, google, samsung etc.

i'm really debated if buying one of these would be a deal or not. I have a broken iphone 7 that lasted for around 3 years now, and i need a new iphone on a budget. I'm not that kind of person that is willing to spend 700 and up on a new phone ; I just use it with the basics (whatsapp, camera,phone, spotify, mails and thats it) and the Iphone XS is one of my choiches but there are two big IFs:
-The battery
-Software updates
i don't really know how long the phone will last in general with software updates (i hope until 2025). So is it worth it or not?
Buy a used iPhone 11 or 11 pro
Or if you can, buy a 12 mini.
Or at best as for now upgrade to the 12

My rule of thumb is: if the economic conditions are about to change for the worst-buy the newest and best iPhone you can right now. Because it’ll last longer in the long run since smartphones are THE tools to the world right now!
The XS Max has easily 2 more years of smooth experience due to the overpowered A12 Bionic chip!

Xr or Xs which is better
If you want a better battery back up and inferior screen and less premium feel. And you dont read a lot on your phone, go for xr. If you want a less battery back up, charging two times in a day or getting a power bank, but awesome display, better camera, premium feel, some overheating issue, go for xs
