I find it insulting that Robyn expects us to believe her lies about not wanting to move in with a married man when she turns around and has that same married man sleeping over at her house. At least if she had moved in there would have been adult chaperones, which is why she didn't want to do it. 👖🔥‼
James, in their book both Christine and Meri made their wedding dresses. Janelle didn't have a wedding dress; dark colored regular dress. Those women were very frugal. Robyn can't spell frugal!
Christine said she hated her dress and I hope someday she meets someone and gets to have a nice wedding where she gets the dress she wants! Robyn got everything that the other wives never did.
More than that all that was done for Robyn's wedding was a gentile tradition as taking female friends and family to pick the dress, picking and designing a wedding cake, wedding party. None of the other wives ever had that. That tells me a lot about how serious Robyn was about polygamy. Or being the most stricken polygamist.
I personally think Kody had ulterior motives for getting his way three original wives to move and cash out their equity on their Vegas homes. Kody has been worried about the show ending and he wanted to set Robyn and himself up financially on the backs of his three original wives. The land was never meant for the Browns to be lived on - it was an investment property to build rentals to provide a good income for Kody and Robyn once the show ended. Robyn has the big house they wanted. There never was going to be a one big house for family. It was a bait and switch. Con artists like Kody often don’t admit to themselves what they are doing. But it’s on the back of their mind. They justify their fraud telling themselves they are trying to help everyone out when In truth they are only helping themselves.

Let's be real. Robyn didn't want to move into the big house because she and Kody were already having sex and they could not have kept that hidden at the big house. Also, they would have sniffed out her laziness right off the bat and her intent was just to chill while everyone else does the heavy lifting.
I remember Janelle telling Kody she had no idea how they were going to take on the financial burden of a whole other household. He basically said “we’ll figure it out”…meaning…Janelle had to figure it out, she was responsible for their finances and budget. 🤦🏼♀️ Look where that’s left her. SMH. There is no way in Hell that he and Robyn would've been able to hide the fact that they were banging around together long before he spiritually married her and there was no way they would've been able to hide that if they moved Robyn into the Lehi house. I honestly think that the episode where Christine got off the couch and was angry with him was Christine realizing that Kody had slept with Christine long before he married her and she was mad. Rightfully so but Kody and Robyn wouldn't be able to hide it. I honestly think that is also why Christine was so against the one house idea. Why would she want to be sitting on the couch and watch Kody and Robyn come out of the bedroom with messy hair and fixing their clothes?
@@mizzymel4957 I honestly think the financial stuff had a ton to do with why Janelle didn't really seem very thrilled with Robyn. Robyn claimed she was trying to find a job but she never did and I think Kody was spoiling Robyn long before Janelle started talking about the money going to the wrong places. That and Robyn trying to get involved in making choices for her children seem to be something I would've taken issues with if I was Janelle.
When they first talked about Robyn moving to Utah Janelle offered to have Robyn live in her side of the house but Robyn said no because her and kody weren't married ( Janelle wrote about this in the book) Robyn didn't mind not being married when she wanted in the rotation also it didn't occur to Robyn that having her own household for them to support would be a burden and that might be why Janelle made the offer.
Kody has lied to himself for so long that he came to believe his own lies and story about his life. The facade is dropping and he has become old, bitter, cantankerous, distanced from most of his family, and struggling to continue to make $$$ and keep up the lifestyle he and Robyn want. Watching the story unfold from the first episodes is quite a tale of mental and emotional anguish.
Let's be honest kody has NEVER been able to make money or support his family financially. That's why I believe polygamy looked so good to him. He could have them work while he got his "pencil wet" (which I imagine he has a very tiny pencil and skinny) and all would be good. Unfortunately, 2 of his wives caught on and one of them he kicked to the curb daily for over a decade until she agreed to finally leave. Kody is a failure in every sense of the word. He has not done a single thing to show his success. Three out of four wives left Jim and 12 of his 13 og kids don't want anything to do with him bc he's a little bitc h that needs to man up. However, at this point it's too late. His show is over and the bread winners are gone. I'm interested to see if they lose it all bc we know sobyn can't work. Sobyn only cares about money and who she can manipulate. She's left with nothing so she'll probably divorce Kody and sue so she gets half of everything. Karma is for sure knocking on their doors
The part about showing up really hits me. You are right, as a parent, you show up. I have two adult children and they still need me sometimes. My daughter was recently diagnosed with 3rd stage Cancer. I am there for her. I can't imagine saying, "Sorry, but I can't be there for you because youre not my only child." I mean, it breaks my heart when I can't be there. I cant imagine being like Kody. I just can't.
I would like to think that Kody Brown has been a gentleman that I emulate in my personal and professional lives. I wish there were more men like Kody, there is nothing the matter with ego, and trying to use whoever you can to get ahead in life. Any woman is fortunate to have a man like Kody.
The 11 day honeymoon was so insulting to the other wives and they were all pissed. Once again, christine called Robyn out and she claimed the time was "needed".
Paedon pointed out that he felt he had a great dad til he was 12 and Kody did seem involved. What's so sad is the great dad that he feels he got was never what Truely got. She got jipped and Kody never seems to understand his youngest daughter,with Christine,to begin with. He wanted her to be like Robyn's kids and good for Truely. That was just not who Truely is.
I wouldn't be surprised if Kody and Robyn had their _actual_ spiritual wedding (even if only between the two of them) much earlier than was shown on the show.

Totally agree with your take on how Kody should have seen how Robbem was with her kids, she needed help from his kids to raise her kids. His older daughters were down there helping Robbem and he should have seen this, but he was already using his pencil brain by then and she was treating him like her best customer.
By that point Kody was too blinded by his physical attraction to Robyn to see anything! Nothing Robyn did was going to change Kody's mind. Even before Christine and Janelle met her he had already mentally added her to the family and was using his pencil as his brain and a listening device and since he was driving 5 hours there and back I would be willing to bet he was getting his pencil sharpened every single time he went to see her.
I finally read Crime and Punishment last year along with 2 other Fydor Dostoevsky's novels. Kody really does not care he ruined his relationships with his 3 first wives....but thought he could keep them lingering for the tv show revenue....and thought he could keep his children's respect.

BTW I bought the Crime and Punishment book but also found it free online...audio....along with his other work I read. My eyes get tired faster in my 60s...so love audiobooks.
Robyn is selfish. The only person on the entire show that surpasses her is Kody. Kody has followed Robyn's 'siren song' since the first whiff of her. Maybe this will last (stranger things have happened, I guess,) but a 50 something woman just isn't as delectable as a 30 something woman, and Robyn is fast coming up on that glorious 50-year birthday! I just can't hardly wait for Kody to realize what he has done! There's no fool like an old fool. About 13 of his biological kids think he's a deluded, selfish, unfair, uncaring person. Two think he's just fine.

She was 19 living with her parents when they got married and for a short time meri and kody rented janelles house so Janelle had a house when they were married When kody says I moved janelle into “meri’s house” he means he moved one wife into another woman’s established home. Like even if you rent that’s your house
James, you have such a good point……Robyn really has not connected with her own children. She has always needed help taking care of her kids. My friends and I have never needed, “help” when caring for our families. I don’t know many women who do. Kody was so in love, she probably gave him his first, (BJ), since she was very worldly before they hooked up. He was sprung. I kinda liked him at first, but he let the fame take over and now he’s just evil.

At different times, in the later seasons, Robyn has called different kids jerks and stupid but then she's "crying" saying she loves them. 😬 I'm rewatching some of the episodes and have found myself saying out loud "this is about to be a dayum shame and you all just don't know it." I just made it to season 2 and wathing R's anxiety with the kids just playing explains ALOT with her kids mannerisms now. I think she's sadly probably had anxiety her whole life and it's rubbed off on her kids.

While watching Sister Wives, especially from season 1 to season 15 I would wonder why Robyn didn't try to integrate into the family better by hanging out with her sister wives like going over to their houses bringing some food bringing the kids and just chillen with them more. Why did she always stay home away from them and kept her kids away from them. It really looked like she was only interested in a relationship with Kody. Things would have went so much more smoothly if she put in the effort to bond with the other wives and kids. Then she probably would have been able to live out her dream as grandparents on the porch watching the grandkids play

I have a theory why she kept her kids away from Christine‘s in janelles. She wants to mentally control the kids. She wants them to be polygonal and by doing that bye not allowing her kids to be around Christine and Jenelle‘s kids that will help her make sure they don’t think for themselves they don’t have the intelligence to say hey you know what if I want to do something different what if I want to do this lifestyle instead of that, they won’t start to question things whereas if she did allow them to be around Christine and Jenelle’s kids, they would start having a mind of their own and start thinking for themselves and thinking that this polygamy isn’t a life so they want if that’s their decision that’s the whole reason why she deems Christine’s, and Jenelle’s kids dangerous to be around but you know what they’re old enough to make their own decisions. I don’t know why the parents are making decisions for them that’s really stupid.

Kody in the beginning of the show might have over exaggerated the goofy personality but he has drastically changed from then to now. My sister is a addiction specialist and is 100% convinced he's on steroids or another stimulant. When you look at the effects it's hard to disagree. As for Robyn she is a real piece of work and I lean towards a B.P.D. Not only is she using Christine's "I wanted the family" but the "Why do you want my orange when you have a apple?" is a quote from Janelle in the book. Robyn uses other wives words out of context and against them. These two are way too defensive for a reason and are the keeper of each other's secrets. Something is going on and Janelle dropped a big hint saying money isn't going to priority expenses.

I have to disagree on the BPD part for Robyn. It's seems more histrionic and narcissistic. Not to discredit if she was BPD, but many of the traits do align with other personality disorders ((And this is from someone who has BPD)).

Robyn wedding choices were done gentile style, wedding picking dress, cake picking, massive party, long honeymoon. None were Polygamist traditions. Was she that serious about the culture? Not really. Kody learned a very useful tactic narcissism learn to emulate a perfect whatever he's trying to portray. He was the perfect lover to Christine that's the "sacrifice to love you" comment comes from. He emulated the perfect polygamist, perfect husband, perfect everything. A normal polygamist wouldn't marry as fast as he did bring in wives so close together.
Kody wanted to be a kept man. Robyn wanted to be a kept woman. Neither of them wanted to do any of the work to have the lifestyle they've grown accustomed by leeching off the backs of the first three wives. I truly hope that Kody & Robyn only get the lives, respect, and love they've shown others. His first 13 children were neglected by him, and Robyn's kids will be completely screwed up by the time he and Robyn are done inflicting their parenthood style on them. Hopefully the nanny or whomever Kody throws $20/hour at so he doesn't have to babysit* his kids, will have be a positive force in their lives *Parenting is not babysitting. Geebus, but he is a dummy. The children he neglected were lucky to have mothers who loved them.

You bring up some very valid points I never thought of….for instance Robyn could’ve walked to Christine’s house and make an effort to become a harmonious family. Great idea among others! Love your show James ! I feel I take away a little of your life wisdom !
I keep coming back to this and I think it would've helped. Robyn could've offered to help more and she should have. She could've gone grocery shopping and helped make a few meals for when Christine had Truely, she could've told Kody to wait on the honeymoon because Christine might need her husband around to help with a newborn. She could've offered to come over and do laundry or help Christine put her kids to bed or even helped with a study group for the kids after school. These are all things that don't take a ton of money but just take time and effort. She could've suggested a movie night at her house on the nights when Kody was with Christine,Janelle or Meri for the kids so they would get some time and get to know each other. She came in with this sense of entitlement and like expected the kids to just automatically obey her and I laughed when Paedon mentioned that one time Robyn told Hunter to do something and he said,"No,you're not my mother." and Paedon brought up the fact that when Janelle,who is Hunter's mom,told him to do something he would and when Christine,who helped raise these kids,would tell him to do something Hunter would do it but with Robyn she tried to jump right into making choices for the kids and it went over like a hooker in a church fountain because she hadn't earned that right. Perhaps if she had helped more with things to do with chores,housework,cooking and all it would've been easier to have her be accepted.
I think that’s why Robyn has a nanny. Kody is at a time in his life where he should be an empty nester. I think he wants freedom to do things with Robyn without the kids. I think he’s pretty possessive of Robyn

It is strange that a woman who does not work needs a babysitter for her children. It is also strange Con-di has even agreed to pay for a babysitter for Robbing's children when the pinnacle aspect of being in a plural relationship is for the mothers to get together and look after the children when one of them has something to do. Robbing has nothing to do, but has a babysitter.

I think without the ability to conspircy, be crafty and sneaky together now Christine, Meri and Janelle are gone I can't see Con-di and Robbing enjoying what they had going like the was they used to enjoy it. It must have been a power trip and a buzz to take the other wives for a ride, and that power trip and buzz is now gone. They are going to be bored of each other, and will know each other are untrustworthy money hungry liars and manipulators.
100% right again,James. I'm a big believer that if someone is bitter and angry the mask of happiness or even to a lesser extent contentment falls off eventually and creates a big time thud. I honestly think when it comes to money and acquiring it brings you closer to who you are and for Kody it was he wished he had more control and he wished he had more opportunities to do what he wanted and be who he wanted to be. Having Robyn constantly viewing him as a hero was what he wanted and he was able to give her that while the other wives had to save him,at times save themselves and their kids. I don't know that the whole Kody exploring the manosphere and constantly being validated as some big,strong man,by Robyn,brought him closer to who he is but I don't think it helped.
It comes across as if Robin kept herself and her kids separate from the other kids. Seemingly looking at them as built in babysitters nothing more. To be honest if someone used me as a built-in babysitter, I would have a hard time letting them in as well. I feel like Robin wanted to be excepted so quickly. She wasn’t willing to give anyone time for that to happen.
There was never really a tremendous level of attachment between Robyn,her kids,and the wives. Other then Meri. The kids were close to Meri but I honestly think the parenting philosphies are so different that having Christine's six,or Janelle's six,and Robyn's five together just didn't work because Janelle and Christine raised strong,smart and capable children and Robyn has raised whiney brats.
Once all the other wife’s are gone and they can’t collectively complain on how much they are being wrong by the other three wives they’re going to turn on each other.

I'm not suggesting that women who have nannies aren't maternal. Don't come for me. However, Robyn doesn't have a career. It begs the question that Christine now infamously asked: What..does..the..nanny..do? Even before it was revealed that Robyn had a nanny, I sensed from her actions that she was not maternal. Additionally,, Robyn has more of a mistress vibe than a wife.
Christine actually asked that question in relation to what the nanny does covid prevention wise to be allowed to come and go to Robyn's house. I think the more interesting questions are What does Robyn do as far as taking care of her own children? How much money does Robyn contribute to the family from these books she writes? What happened to the original LLC the family had before kody and Robyn created the new one excluding everyone but their family?
Interesting point. Robyn has always had help. She had a sister or a cousin living with her at one point. Then she had her niece. And then the nanny. It never occurred to me that she wasn’t maternal, but I definitely wondered why she needed help.

@@betteroffread5608 Someone mentioned in their divorce papers it said they could not drink alcohol in front of the children. I have just always figured that's why she needed a nanny. I haven't actually seen the divorce papers, but it did answer a bunch of my questions. Why the nanny, why could they not film inside her house? And after Kody's mean comment about Christine's cleaning abilities, I question Robyn's. The whole shopping compulsion and stacks of boxes in the windows makes me think Janelle should have been a lot more involved in the money dealings but I imagine she would never have thought that would be an issue because the og's are really pretty cost conscious with most things. I think Meri overcompensated on the big house thing, but she could afford it. I imagine it was a very lonely empty space though. Anyway, I wish I knew how to get the information on her divorce papers, cause that would be very telling I think.

Maybe if she had spent some time with Christine,Robyn wouldn't have needed to ask about whether or not she and Christine could've have a relationship and whether or not she wanted to spend time with the kids. We've seen those kids in action and while Sol and Dayton seem okay Aurora,Breanna and Ari are frickin' brats.

Let's be real. Robyn didn't want to move into the big house because she and Kody were already having sex and they could not have kept that hidden at the big house. Also, they would have sniffed out her laziness right off the bat and her intent was just to chill while everyone else does the heavy lifting.

Robyn claimed she was trying to find a job but she never did and I think Kody was spoiling Robyn long before Janelle started talking about the money going to the wrong places. That and Robyn trying to get involved in making choices for her children seem to be something I would've taken issues with if I was Janelle.
When they first talked about Robyn moving to Utah Janelle offered to have Robyn live in her side of the house but Robyn said no because her and kody weren't married ( Janelle wrote about this in the book) Robyn didn't mind not being married when she wanted in the rotation also it didn't occur to Robyn that having her own household for them to support would be a burden and that might be why Janelle made the offer.

Kody has lied to himself for so long that he came to believe his own lies and story about his life. The facade is dropping and he has become old, bitter, cantankerous, distanced from most of his family, and struggling to continue to make $$$ and keep up the lifestyle he and Robyn want. Watching the story unfold from the first episodes is quite a tale of mental and emotional anguish.
Let's be honest kody has NEVER been able to make money or support his family financially. That's why I believe polygamy looked so good to him. He could have them work while he got his "pencil wet" (which I imagine he has a very tiny pencil and skinny) and all would be good. Unfortunately, 2 of his wives caught on and one of them he kicked to the curb daily for over a decade until she agreed to finally leave. Kody is a failure in every sense of the word. He has not done a single thing to show his success. Three out of four wives left Jim and 12 of his 13 og kids don't want anything to do with him bc he's a little bitc h that needs to man up. However, at this point it's too late. His show is over and the bread winners are gone. I'm interested to see if they lose it all bc we know sobyn can't work.

The part about showing up really hits me. You are right, as a parent, you show up. I have two adult children and they still need me sometimes.
My daughter was recently diagnosed with 3rd stage Cancer. I am there for her. I can't imagine saying, "Sorry, but I can't be there for you because youre not my only child."

My friends and I have never needed, “help” when caring for our families. I don’t know many women who do. At different times, in the later seasons, Robyn has called different kids jerks and stupid but then she's "crying" saying she loves them. 😬 I'm rewatching some of the episodes and have found myself saying out loud "this is about to be a dayum shame and you all just don't know it." I just made it to season 2 and wathing R's anxiety with the kids just playing explains ALOT with her kids mannerisms now. I think she's sadly probably had anxiety her whole life and it's rubbed off on her kids.

While watching Sister Wives, especially from season 1 to season 15 I would wonder why Robyn didn't try to integrate into the family better by hanging out with her sister wives like going over to their houses bringing some food bringing the kids and just chillen with them more. Why did she always stay home away from them and kept her kids away from them. It really looked like she was only interested in a relationship with Kody. Things would have went so much more smoothly if she put in the effort to bond with the other wives and kids. Then she probably would have been able to live out her dream as grandparents on the porch watching the grandkids play

I have a theory why she kept her kids away from Christine‘s in janelles. She wants to mentally control the kids. She wants them to be polygonal and by doing that bye not allowing her kids to be around Christine and Jenelle‘s kids that will help her make sure they don’t think for themselves they don’t have the intelligence to say hey you know what if I want to do something different what if I want to do this lifestyle instead of that, they won’t start to question things whereas if she did allow them to be around Christine and Jenelle’s kids, they would start having a mind of their own and start thinking for themselves and thinking that this polygamy isn’t a life so they want if that’s their decision that’s the whole reason why she deems Christine’s, and Jenelle’s kids dangerous to be around but you know what they’re old enough to make their own decisions. I don’t know why the parents are making decisions for them that’s really stupid.
I'm seeing a pattern with Robyn regurgitating things other people have said. Robyn's apples and oranges analogy from the tell all was ripped off from what Janelle wrote in their book from 2012.
Kody in the beginning of the show might have over exaggerated the goofy personality but he has drastically changed from then to now. My sister is a addiction specialist and is 100% convinced he's on steroids or another stimulant. When you look at the effects it's hard to disagree. As for Robyn she is a real piece of work and I lean towards a B.P.D. Not only is she using Christine's "I wanted the family" but the "Why do you want my orange when you have a apple?" is a quote from Janelle in the book. Robyn uses other wives words out of context and against them. These two are way too defensive for a reason and are the keeper of each other's secrets. Something is going on and Janelle dropped a big hint saying money isn't going to priority expenses.

I have to disagree on the BPD part for Robyn. It's seems more histrionic and narcissistic. Not to discredit if she was BPD, but many of the traits do align with other personality disorders ((And this is from someone who has BPD)).

Robyn wedding choices were done gentile style, wedding picking dress, cake picking, massive party, long honeymoon. None were Polygamist traditions. Was she that serious about the culture? Not really. Kody learned a very useful tactic narcissism learn to emulate a perfect whatever he's trying to portray. He was the perfect lover to Christine that's the "sacrifice to love you" comment comes from. He emulated the perfect polygamist, perfect husband, perfect everything. A normal polygamist wouldn't marry as fast as he did bring in wives so close together.
Kody wanted to be a kept man. Robyn wanted to be a kept woman. Neither of them wanted to do any of the work to have the lifestyle they've grown accustomed by leeching off the backs of the first three wives. I truly hope that Kody & Robyn only get the lives, respect, and love they've shown others.

I keep coming back to this and I think it would've helped. Robyn could've offered to help more and she should have. She could've gone grocery shopping and helped make a few meals for when Christine had Truely, she could've told Kody to wait on the honeymoon because Christine might need her husband around to help with a newborn. She could've offered to come over and do laundry or help Christine put her kids to bed or even helped with a study group for the kids after school. These are all things that don't take a ton of money but just take time and effort. She could've suggested a movie night at her house on the nights when Kody was with Christine,Janelle or Meri for the kids so they would get some time and get to know each other. She came in with this sense of entitlement and like expected the kids to just automatically obey her and I laughed when Paedon mentioned that one time Robyn told Hunter to do something and he said,"No,you're not my mother." and Paedon brought up the fact that when Janelle,who is Hunter's mom,told him to do something he would and when Christine,who helped raise these kids,would tell him to do something Hunter would do it but with Robyn she tried to jump right into making choices for the kids and it went over like a hooker in a church fountain because she hadn't earned that right. Perhaps if she had helped more with things to do with chores,housework,cooking and all it would've been easier to have her be accepted.

I have had a theory for a while now that the reason Kody has changed, and the reason the family has fallen apart ( at least the nail in the coffin) was the same reason many families have fallen apart in the past few years… politics. Everything he did from the get go was presenting her as "special" and she was treated differently by Kody. He did exactly the opposite of how you integrate families together if you wanted harmony . Kody refuses to see how he started the problems as a plural family by him not following his own rules and guidelines they had lived by their entire marriages . He comes across as a jerk because he refuses to own his mistakes . Such a shame a grown father cannot own his mistakes . Blessings for the wives that have choose to live life without Kody. It is strange that a woman who does not work needs a babysitter for her children. It is also strange Con-di has even agreed to pay for a babysitter for Robbing's children when the pinnacle aspect of being in a plural relationship is for the mothers to get together and look after the children when one of them has something to do. Robbing has nothing to do, but has a babysitter.

Robyn lived about 4 hours away when he was courting her. He would have had to stay somewhere overnight when dating her.
I think without the ability to conspircy, be crafty and sneaky together now Christine, Meri and Janelle are gone I can't see Con-di and Robbing enjoying what they had going like the was they used to enjoy it. It must have been a power trip and a buzz to take the other wives for a ride, and that power trip and buzz is now gone. They are going to be bored of each other, and will know each other are untrustworthy money hungry liars and manipulators.

100% right again,James. I'm a big believer that if someone is bitter and angry the mask of happiness or even to a lesser extent contentment falls off eventually and creates a big time thud. I honestly think when it comes to money and acquiring it brings you closer to who you are and for Kody it was he wished he had more control and he wished he had more opportunities to do what he wanted and be who he wanted to be. Having Robyn constantly viewing him as a hero was what he wanted and he was able to give her that while the other wives had to save him,at times save themselves and their kids. I don't know that the whole Kody exploring the manosphere and constantly being validated as some big,strong man,by Robyn,brought him closer to who he is but I don't think it helped.
It comes across as if Robin kept herself and her kids separate from the other kids. Seemingly looking at them as built in babysitters nothing more. To be honest if someone used me as a built-in babysitter, I would have a hard time letting them in as well. I feel like Robin wanted to be excepted so quickly. She wasn’t willing to give anyone time for that to happen.
There was never really a tremendous level of attachment between Robyn,her kids,and the wives. Other then Meri. The kids were close to Meri but I honestly think the parenting philosphies are so different that having Christine's six,or Janelle's six,and Robyn's five together just didn't work because Janelle and Christine raised strong,smart and capable children and Robyn has raised whiney brats.
Once all the other wife’s are gone and they can’t collectively complain on how much they are being wrong by the other three wives they’re going to turn on each other.

I'm not suggesting that women who have nannies aren't maternal. Don't come for me. However, Robyn doesn't have a career. It begs the question that Christine now infamously asked: What..does..the..nanny..do? Even before it was revealed that Robyn had a nanny, I sensed from her actions that she was not maternal. Additionally,, Robyn has more of a mistress vibe than a wife.
Christine actually asked that question in relation to what the nanny does covid prevention wise to be allowed to come and go to Robyn's house. I think the more interesting questions are What does Robyn do as far as taking care of her own children? How much money does Robyn contribute to the family from these books she writes? What happened to the original LLC the family had before kody and Robyn created the new one excluding everyone but their family?
Interesting point. Robyn has always had help. She had a sister or a cousin living with her at one point. Then she had her niece. And then the nanny. It never occurred to me that she wasn’t maternal, but I definitely wondered why she needed help.

@@betteroffread5608 Someone mentioned in their divorce papers it said they could not drink alcohol in front of the children. I have just always figured that's why she needed a nanny. I haven't actually seen the divorce papers, but it did answer a bunch of my questions. Why the nanny, why could they not film inside her house? And after Kody's mean comment about Christine's cleaning abilities, I question Robyn's. The whole shopping compulsion and stacks of boxes in the windows makes me think Janelle should have been a lot more involved in the money dealings but I imagine she would never have thought that would be an issue because the og's are really pretty cost conscious with most things. I think Meri overcompensated on the big house thing, but she could afford it. I imagine it was a very lonely empty space though. Anyway, I wish I knew how to get the information on her divorce papers, cause that would be very telling I think.

She established respect with the children and they obey her but flippin' Robyn can't even get her own little kid to be polite. I get that Ari is just a little girl but where does a kid come up with a question like the one she asked Christine and Kody wants to say that Christine was never nice to Robyn or didn't try to help. How many times did Christine ask to take Dayton,Aurora,and Breanna and Robyn refused. I get her not wanting to send Sol with Meri but Christine is so frickin' sweet and kind. Like I would've been like,"You raise awesome kids. Here's mine." Maybe if she had spent some time with Christine,Robyn wouldn't have needed to ask about whether or not she and Christine could've have a relationship and whether or not she wanted to spend time with the kids. We've seen those kids in action and while Sol and Dayton seem okay Aurora,Breanna and Ari are frickin' brats.
