Thanks for describing the shell technique the way you did! That was the first time it made sense to me. Still need practice practice practice, but now I know how to start
Thanks so much for this helpful video!I can now do these and perfect some of my bakes!:)
Nice, if you weren't so far away I'd fully get you to do my birthday cake!
Your video is so clear and easy to understand! If I wasn't in New Zealand, I'd be asking for a cake! Absolutely AMAZING! Thanks for your demonstration that I can understand because I am a beginner and lots of videos are hard to understand. Thank so much!

A
LVMine - it's an Ateco 825 star tip! We think that the technique would apply for any star tip, which is why we didn't specify the number.
Finaly! Someone who mentioned the the tip name number! Thank you so much! Your video lighten my burden ♡♡♡♡
I loved it!
thanks for the video. I have a pan just like that. I use it under my mac and cheese dishes so the half and half and butter doesn't drop into the oven. these ppl just don't show their nasty things. great work. thanks again
The haters either don't bake or use coated pans.
What a helpful video! : )
Wow beautiful
nice piping bag techniques. realized i've been holding it wrong, thanks!
Cool!
I must admit that I paid absolutely no attention to the state of the pan. Silly me, I came to see how to pipe cream and not observe how someone else cares for their dishes. Thanks for the tutorial.
Thanks 😘 very nice ☺️ shape and design decoration
thank you for the tip
Lindos suspiros!
Hi I’m curious instead of using buttercream could I use meringue or would that be a bad idea?
It's so easy
thank you!
ESE MOLDE NECESITA UNA BUENA LIMPIEZA...
the rosette went worse and worse every time lol
true hahaha
That's what I say! Lol
baby jimin FACTS! 😂😂😂
It's not the way to pipe rosette, that's why it doesn't look good.
i realize it is kind of off topic but do anyone know a good site to watch newly released tv shows online?
완전 잘한다
very nice
I'm just learning but I must say the rosettes to me are the easiest to make. I love learning how to pipe frosting, but that's all I do any more is bake.

Es muy lindo lo que hace y está muy claramente explicado, pero por favor, usen otra placa de base, porque el trabajo no se luce debidamente sobre una tan gastada.
What kind of icing are you using? By the gods, it's really beautiful and shinny.
Thanks so much! It's actually an Italian meringue - 2 to 1 ratio of sugar syrup and egg whites (in ounces). You can find the video on how to make it here: ruclips.net/video/nSFv5NyUxas/видео.html :)
Thanks! Have a nice day. :)
What size of tip is that
what's the name of the first piping tip you use
Which numb nozzal is it?
Which tip is it??
Pls put out buttercream recepie, it really looks nice and shiny, I would like to use the recipe for my cake
It would be helpful if you tell us what number of the tip you are using in this video. Is it Wilton decorating tip? Please add some info. Thank you!
фУ, КАКАЯ ГРЯЗНАЯ ПОСУДА!!!!
Why such a dirty pan? No wax paper?
lindo
Bit green about tips. Is this a closed or open star tip?
christine1962ful Hi Christine! It's a open star tip, Ateco 825! The techniques here apply to any star tip, open or closed - doesn't matter. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for replying. I guess what I;m reallyasking is: how do I identify the difference of what is an open or closed star tip? If someone asked me to pick out either one, I have no idea how to identify the difference. That was what I wanted to know, I'm a bit of a practical and theory girl. Could you explain in a basic way?
Oh ok - sorry to have misunderstood your question. On a closed star tip, the tines of the tip curve inward at the top; open star tips have the tines pointing straight up. Here is a good visual aid: www.cake-cetera.co.uk//wp-content/uploads/2013/09/cupcake-decorator-frosting-pastry-tips1.jpg The top left is an open star and the top right is closed. Hope this helps!
Thanks for rep;ying. Yes it helped
I like the video, it's very informative and detailed..... but couldn't they find a clean pan?
Hope you didn't eat that buttercream after used! Lol
Super good video:)
Which tip did you use, number
Thank you! Glad you liked it. The tip we used was an Ateco 825. Any large star tip will do the job!
Tip 1m from wilton is a startip too right? :)
Thank you for the fast answer:)
Yes! That's a absolutely a star tip! :)
And she says "You should have seen it *BEFORE* we cleaned it..!"
Is this meringue?
The filthy pan is all I can recall...you could've used a clean sheet of paper at least.
It's not filthy its stained . just goes to show she bakes alot
What kind of this cream please?
Gorgina sameh For this video, we used Italian Meringue. It's a mixture of whipped egg whites with cooked sugar. The recipe is on our Baked Alaska Blog: dearmartini.wordpress.com/2014/02/08/baked-alaska-a-flaming-dessert-for-valentines-day/
Would a 1M work?
Could you not find a cleaner pan to demonstrate on?
Hi Maria,
You should have seen it before we cleaned it! LOL Thanks for the feedback.
Who cares? I Just wanted to watch a video that will show me how to do it right. Thanks for such a clear video
For the people using the Metric System, A Quarter Inch is about 1.5 Centimeters!
Why does ANYBODY CARE ABOUT THE FREAKING TRAY!!! It's just a tray, and it has nothing to with the point of the video. Come on, people!!!
Woman that is a dirty ass tray!!! For the sake of the video use something else!!
Yina A. Santos nobody cares about a god damn PAN, so what if its dirty, you're not touching it or anything???
I am one of them who care because I have OCD; so her being nasty bothers me. wasn't able to keep watching video. Not her fault I won't keep watching, but it speaks to her as a person to come on youtube and use a nasty tray to show star tip designs. (Adding) Just looked at the still pic she uses to get people to click on her videio, if she didn't think nothing was wrong why didn't she use a pic of her greasy burnt colored cookie sheet used in this video?
It's Gross!!! We're dealing with beauty and decoration on cake on food. The tray is absolutely disgusting
essa assadeira está imunda
My Lord that pan is filthy -- seriously??
Cher Mort it simply means this pan has produced hundreds of awesome cakes.. pay it its due respect :P
+Mithun Karmakar
Its not the only one with a lengthy production life. Definitely the filthiest!
Oh yes, and don't try this with soap... tee-hee!
Some baking soda and apple cider vinager would go a long way or sth else. I agree with people saying it's just an tutorial, focus on that I also agree with the fact that some people use their stuff everyday for 30 yrs and still look 10x better than this. Some people neglect their shit or are to lazy to clean things properly and come up with excuses how things should look after u used it a 1000 times. Just clean ur things and shut up or don't, whatever works for u.
Seriously wasted the cream! Can't imagine it being eaten afterwards!
Girl couldn't you wash that thing..!?! I doubt anyone will recall *ANYTHING ELSE HERE!*
+Fish
U missed my point!
"Big Freaking Deal" you haul is that TRAY!
I'll buy the tray! Can you see the possibilities? Nothing wrong with it. Baked with love!
Dirty container you should have taken another 🍳 pan
The pan is great! It shows love from baking. And baking is a science.
It's too bad that you have to put up with a few morons that pay more attention to the condition of your pan than the technique you are trying to demonstrate. Besides, it's easier to see the white buttercream against the black background. Great job!
God help her.Just look at what she chooses to tutor on.I have been baking for years and my baking sheets are not like that
ถ
Great job! Beautiful work!
that tray.... so dirty... atleast use clean stuff while filming...
Those aren’t Rossetes
your baking tray is so dirty
The tray is not dirty. It's stained or seasoned.
Wow...that's the dirtiest pan I've ever seen. Ew ew ew!!! Buy some steel pads why doncha! And use soap and hot water! GEEZ!
+GirladyLocks My pans get really some wear and use on them because I cook and bake maybe you should bake or cook more often so you will see how your pans get. I never seen such a rude troll before like you
LOL!!! I probably cook and bake WAY more than you do and everything from scratch. But ALL my pans and baking dishes are spotless. I mean TOTALLY spotless - like brand new. You assume too much and you know what they say about people who ASSume, right? lol Grime isn't good for you ( look it up if you don't believe me ). And no, I don't sugar coat anything for anyone. If you're offended, that's your problem. TROLL? No...just straightforward and bluntly honest.
lol who knew even a baking video could get hate comments 😂
Maybe they buy a new pan timeserver they bake that's if they bake lol.. my pans have so much wear on them you can tell I am a baker :)
+GirladyLocks your right! first thing we said was "look at the state of that dish", my mother used some of her she's for 30 or 40 years, every day, six kids, and none looked dirty 😃
dirty continer.
😂😂😂
Противень могла бы и помыть!
Come on u can’t show a pan like that !!
thats not a cake its a pot
why is she using such a manky old tray to pipe onto?
Seriously? You don't have anything nicer to pipe on? Parchment? The counter? A decent looking semi-shiny pan? That hundred year old pan is good for baking cookies, but for showing your piping skills to the RUclips World? I don't think so!
You said it. It's you tube. I'm sure you haven't ordered from her.
tepsi çok kirli, iğrenç
I cannot understand why use that dirty ass pan? SMH!!!
The pan is truly disgusting. Couldn't they find a clean surface to demonstrate this? Yuck.
+BorschtBlue "Truly disgusting"? They're just used a lot, not dirty!
I'm sure you have the same stained pans. Or non stick coated. Either way it's just stained. Not filthy.
Do the videos somewhere clean next time
