I am a novice, but you've demonstrated every step I need to get piping!! I didn't even know how to put the tip on the bag! Now I am ready to decorate!!! Great job of instructing!!!
This was so helpful! I got a wild hair and decided to make cupcakes from scratch with my 3-year-old yesterday. I hadn’t done it before and let’s just say I should’ve watched this video first. Ha. The good news is according to my daughter, they tasted delicious!
Thank you! Now I know what the purple thing is :) I recently just got a baking set for my birthday and I love it! I’m learning and trying new things! :D keep up the good work!!!
Just about to decorate Christmas cookies with my 4 year old daughter, first time using a coupler on a bag. Figured it out myself except for where to cut the bag (if at the bottom of coupler or by the tread), so thanks for the video!
Thank you so much! You've really helped me. I'm about to attempt my first time using a piping bag and I was a little afraid, but now I'm excited and ready to go! Thanks 😊
I found your tips so so useful for a total beginner even though i am two years late hehe! Its because of my little 2 year old that i now am inspired to start this journey of baking and trust my small steps will actually help me in creating nice baking for her in the future :)
OMGOODNESS!! Glad I came across your Tutorial, after filling the Piping bag, 3 times, since decorating Cupcakes lol The Swirly Design was fine; It was the icing, coming from the bottom... And the top (Resulting in Icing on my Fingers) 🤭🤭 Can't wait til my next Baking Day!! TFS
Lady, you saved my husband's cupcakes from a spatula smear-job. (wow I sound old, am 39.) My frosting was too loose, despite confectioner's sugar correction, but he proclaimed it the best he's had in ages. (heavy whipped cream, cream cheese, vanilla) i got it back into relatively pipeable state. This was my first piping attempt, though, and I wish I could share a pic. Spiral out, spiral back up to a push in, push out, peak.
I made my first gingerbread house yesterday and we overfilled the bag and icing got everywhere lol (came out the top). Glad I looked this up for the future

Thank you for explaining to a complete beginner, that’s exactly what we need! PS..with royal icing and fine decoration, how do you stop the icing leaking out between bag and tip? However gently I squeeze, it ends up a mess!

Great video, got a decorating set as a gift recently and had no idea how to properly fill and use the bag. I'm making a key lime pie this afternoon and this is going is going to save my a lot of trouble trying to decorate it in the morning after it sets up in the fridge overnight
I was wondering whether the Wilton featherweight reusable piping bags are suitable for those who have a problem with warm hands. I have so many problems with buttercream melting in the bag and the flowers are nearly always a disaster. I’m constantly putting the buttercream in and out of the frig. Do you have any suggestions?

Hi friends, I lost the ring that fits in the piping bag. Does anyone have any suggestions for alternatives, without me buying a new set?
You don’t necessarily need a ring to use it. Anything small like a zip tie could be used if your desperate, however I would advise you to buy a ring 😊
Wonderful video & tips. So useful 👌👌👌
