There's storm brewing on the Magnificent Century. Hurrem doens't leave the Sultana's suite. Sultan Suleiman falls out with Hurrem. Hatice makes a sudden decision about her marriage with Ibrahim. Firuze returns to the palace which she has just left with an unexpected person's order.
Sultana Hurrem reacts to Hatice's slap nobly. Hatice can't calm down. The new decision that Hatice has made will disappoint Hurrem. Sultan Suleiman reacts harshly that Hurrem moved to the Sultana's room. However, Hurrem doesn't step back in cost of standing against Sultan Suleiman.
Sultan Suleiman wants to spend a day with his children. However, the accident Mihrimah has had turns everything upside-down. Rustem doesn't hesitate risking his own life for Mihrimah.
Meanwhile, Firuze has hard times in the slave market she has ended up. Just as she has started to thing this is the end for her, someone familiar helps her. Firuze happens to find herself in harem.
At the age of 26, when he ascended to the throne, Sultan Suleiman aimed to build an empire more powerful than Alexander the Great and to render the Ottomans invincible. Throughout his 46-year reign, he became the greatest warrior and ruler of both East and West.
The young Suleiman received news of his succession to the throne during a hunting party in 1520. Unaware that he would be ruling a reign beyond his dreams, he left behind his wife son and took to the road with his close friend and companion Pargali Ibrahim to reach the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul. As they started their journey overland, an Ottoman ship set sail from Crimea in the Black Sea, bringing female slaves as gifts for the Ottoman palace… On this ship was Alexandra La Rossa, the daughter of a Ukrainian Orthodox minister, taken away from her family and sold to the Crimean palace. She had no idea that she would become Hurrem, wife of Sultan Suleiman and mother of princes, ruling the empire with him through bloodshed and intrigue.
As Sultan Suleiman conquered the world, his great passion for Hurrem would clash with his love for and trust in his closest friend and advisor, Grand Vizier Pargali Ibrahim, all set against the backdrop of the tension between Christian Europe and the Ottoman Empire in the 16th century.

I love how Hurrem demands him to respect her will. 'As do you, Suleiman'... Literally, he😮... No one in the whole empire would dare to tell him that. Hurrem's courage has no match
It was a big gamble. If she had dared to talk like that to Selim I or Murad IV, she'd be dead
@@user-ob4sq6fi3sSo funny thinking that Hafsa did everything she wanted and Selim I was at her feet, and Farya (Ayse Sultan) in real life did what she wanted and Murad didn't tame her.
@@ImMarius1 I'm sure that they weren't as audacious as Hurrem was.
They probably had the patience to play the long game. Something Hurrem wasn't capable or willing to do
@@user-ob4sq6fi3s That's what I'm telling him. Hurrem was smart enough to get along with everyone, including Sultans.
Men fight with swords, women with words
Ha ha, Hurrem sure is salty-tongued!
Men fight with words just as much. And there are countless of women who have fought with swords. Just not as common because they stayed with children more often than men did. Since men are useless and have nothing to do but fight. But women can give birth and are much more valuable 😉
I like how Hurrem's actress plays a lot with her eyes and mouth. Like in the beginning of the video 00:24 .
And I don't like how Hurrem was always friendly towards Hatice but Hatice preferred to start a war with her just because she was manipulated with Ibrahim's dirty games, even after she found out he was cheating on her for years.
Meryem is very talented with facial expressions
21:10 The promise she made to mihrimah and she never kept
Exactly she had to marry crusty old rustem
How it's hurrams fault? She asked bali bey more than twice if he love mihirima or not but he denied everytime and kept hooking up with a lady . After that mihirima decided to marry rustam @@Legitsamx
@tanishaaraf982 well she should have asked bali bey first BEFORE making the promise to mihrimah. Why make a promise if you're not sure you'll be able to fulfill it.
@@Legitsamx it wasn't like hurram or sultan forcefully married mihirima to rustam . They waited for mihirimas answer so at the end mihirima choose rustam
@@tanishaaraf982 true but she was still pressurized. If she refused to the marriage, she wouldn't be in her mother's favour.
Does no one else find it disturbing how Mirimah knew Rustem since she was a child and later on married him 🤢
Bali bey was older than rustem
Same
Bali bey was as old as Suleiman, rustem was way younger he was like 30 and mihrimah was like 17 when they were married
@@_bell613_ this isn’t about Bali Bey because she didn’t marry Bali Bey
@@Lucy_Heartfilia822 I know, I meant that if she wanted to marry bali bey knowing him since childhood and the age gap, then how is it disturbing to marry rustem?
Hatice kept her promise. She had Hurrem kidnapped and nobody knew whete she was for a while
Caption: Who are you to threaten a sultana??
Me: The first Haseki sultan of ottoman empire.
Sad how Hurrem being a mother has always utilized Mihrimah as a shield to her own benefit and to protect her brothers❤️🩹
I mean it's not great. That said she's hardly unique in doing this.
@@hurremsultannss I love Hürrem 's character in the show. But there is one thing, I cant get over with - litteraly selling Mihrimah almost as a slave to Rustem. Especially, when she herself was a slave and she knows how it feels.
@@nielubieinceli Fair enough. That said, she definitely isn't a unique character for doing something like this. Besides she did agree to it as a way to get out of exile and back to her kids.
@@hurremsultannss I know that he blackmailed her. But she could tell him that Mihrimah simply doesn't want him after returning and as a blood sultana, she cannot be made to marry him.
Instead, she blackmailed Mihrimah with her brothers and decieved her that Suleiman agreed, while he clearly told Hürrem, that the marriage will happen only with Mihrimah's acceptance. Dang, she is HÜRREM. She would return anyway but maybe a little later.
@@nielubieinceli It's not that simple though. Doing that would have lost her Rüstem. And he was a valuable ally to her.
Hurrem is the wife of Sultan so she is the most important woman in that palace, not Hatice
The sultan wanted that chamber to be empty. So, Hurrem’s importance doesn’t matter in this scenario lol. Hurrem was being too audacious here.
Ottoman blood is not in her,but Hatice is born as member of royal family
Being the youngest and favored by both her mother and brother made hatice very very spoiled and arrogant.
@@Juliamarcinkowska-rk9zwok and ???? Hurrems rank surpassed ottoman princesses 😂 do ur research
It depends on blood
mihrimah was by born cleaver 😂, Hurrem's daughter as you can say😂❤

I given up my life for you and you can't give me a chamber 😂😂😂
Bless, best line!
Sumbul is so funny i love his character😂
10:16 i laugh soo loudd😂😂😂
The promise she made to mihirmah at the end is so heartbreaking whrn you realize how mihirmah ends up marrying a man she loathes for the sake of her mother's politics
Not a promise she could realistically keep either as royalty usually married their kids off to seal connections or treatys.
Poor Hatice still thinks she can do anything and poor Mahidevran still thinks, she can use Hatice in anything. Like, guys, they made both of them completely unstandable stupid in this show. Hürrem's shoe is smarter than them and Gülfem combined.
hatice isnt wrong though
It wasn’t a fair fight since the beginning until the arrival of Firuze and later Sah Sultan, only then Hürrem felt threatened. She wasn’t worried of Ibrahim’s strategy as she knew he was consumed by himself and could easily be framed to be a traitor, she was only worried about what he could do to harm her kids as he’s the only one who seemed ruthless towards Hurrem’s kids. Mahidveran would have been the best rival to Hurrem had they utilized her character instead of bring sisters every season though as it would have been a survival of the fittest.
Got a point there
Exact same words of hatice..now Suleiman giving back to her😅
Hatice said to hurrem reg her divorce with ibrahim..."" It is between me & ibrahim""
Same way suleiman said to hatice"" it is between himself & hurrem"" 😅😅😅
Evil alliance mihrimah and hurrem what a mother daughter duo.
Gross, when I saw this the first time I didn't realize that Rustem would marry Mihrimah....yikes.
Rustem is too elder then Mihirmah even then they married..there is too much of age gap.
Suleiman is also too older than Hurrem
Hatice remained insane till her hand
It was not hurrems fault ibrahim had affair with nigar
Hurrem merely brought it to hatices notice
Instead of being thankful,as usual, hatice is funnily raging against hurrem
which part is this?
I question whether Mirimah really wanted to have her own chambers or was coaxed into it by her mummy.
Eh, that's quite the stretch, not going to lie. There's not a single scene in the entire episode where Hürrem can be found coaching Mihrimah to behave in such a way (understandable too since Hürrem refuses to use her children in such a way). At best it can be implied that Mihrimah picked up on more than anyone around her suspected and decided to help, but then that's rather like what Mustafa does with Mahidevran too.
The child knew what she wanted
I mean every kid wants to have their own room eventually
@@kollux_apollonia certainly. It's just the timing that makes the whole thing kind of suspicious.
It's kind of odd that Mihrimah wants to have her own chambers exactly the same time Hurrem lays claim to Hafsa's chambers. Don't you agree?
@@user-ob4sq6fi3s I agree. I guess it could be a combination of it. Mihrimah wants her own room, she knows her mom is fighting for the Valide’s room; what better way to help her mom while also reaping the benefits of it?
Mihrimah is dangerously manipulative because Suleiman’s fatherly love for her exceeds that of all others and allows her more leeway to ask for anything. She is his moon and sun, and he would do mostly anything to keep his beloved only daughter happy.
Hurrem também gosta de provocar kkkk,Oh Jesus adoroo isso, porque eu estou sentindo que essa briga de hatice e hurrem teve um fundo de verdade??kkk
Well said hurrem sultan
You would have been a very good slave in those times, where you would be killed if forgot to bow to your sultanas haha so pathetic
who is here??
Hurrem lied to Mirimah! She married Rustum, and she did not want him.
I don't know if the lie was intended yet though.
But bali bey had not any interest of mihrimah. He never saw her as a girl 😢 poor mihrimah
@@rays172fr, if only taslicali yahya favour his love for mihrimah more than his love for mustafa...

You’re obsessed with not only hurrem but also the entire series in an unhealthy level, never forget it.

I'm trying to get my bearings in this series. Why does Hurrem need Ibrahim's wife to divorce him?
because if Hatice divorces him, he will lose his position and it'd be easier for Hürrem to get rid of him
@@MagdaWaliszewska-cw2en Ah, thanks!
Great. That snake Rustem is here
He was not a snake to hurrem a very loyal to her and did a lots for her
@@sabakhan-km5ub so? He's still a snake. Always on the look out for more power. Being terrible to Nigar. Being obsessive, controling and occasionally abusive towards Mirimah but at the same time so invaluable to Hurrem that she's letting him off the hook for everything.
Why should I respect such a sorry excuse of a man?
❤смағ
Hurrem both the historical one and serie one : true psychological emotional and political manipulator
No wonder she broke ottoman laws and rose to the top
Sonal ko bolti hu usse jud k
and they got married 😅
Who do you think you're taking to, Hurrem? Suleiman is the sultan and his wishes are your command.
You're very lucky that you ended up facing a person far too lenient to those he loves. If you had dared trying to blackmail Selim I or Murad IV with that move, you'd be dead on the spot.
Trying to use other sultans as comparisons for how Hürrem ought to be expected to behave doesn't really hold up, however, when, if it weren't for exactly how Suleiman was and the decisions he made, she wouldn't be the way she was. It's possible for Hürrem to behave in such a way because Suleiman, time and again, proved that this was behavior he was willing to accept (if not encourage) from the women in his life. Honestly, an even bigger problem is that to discuss comparisons to Selim I or Murad IV it _has_ to be done on a historical front rather than what's featured within the show. The circumstances of all those reigns are just too notably different based on historical influences of the time.
Hurrem sultan is above hatice, never forget that.
@@Redluna32 fair enought, mate
@@user-gp3xf7jp9n Sure. But Suleiman outranks them both. Both are expected to fall in line with his commands and both can lose everything if he gets fed up with their pettiness and disobedience
@@user-ob4sq6fi3s who is hatice to involve in harem matters? Under which position?
And then she breaks the promise she made to her own daughter for her own selfish gains
This scene in particular is why I think Mihrümah's marriage to Rustem she have been her on idea. Loose his creepy fillings for her and make it a marriage about politics only for both of them.
To be honest Rüstem did twist her arm to make the agreement so she could get back from exile. But yeah it's not her finest hour. That said, the show portraying that in the way that reflects as poorly on them as possible was...a decision.
@@hurremsultannss The writers did choose to use Mihrümah and Rustem's marriage to hold up the Hurrem the villain narrative. It could have been better used to show Mihrümah's support and love for her brothers if the marriage had been her idea.
@@CrimsonAngelWinges Yeah. Exactly. It just contributes to the Disneyfication of the series at the end of season 3 and in season 4. And Mihrimah having a say does seem like an interesting idea.
@@hurremsultannss It would have been interesting to see Mihrümah and Rustem build a marriage around a common goal. They could have shown them as an equal partnership unlike Hatice/Ibrahim and Sah/Lutfi. Then we see it fall apart after Hurrem's death when Rustem chooses to back Silem.
Аһөөр ө❤һт
Hurrem lied to her own daughter
Her daughter didn't know who to love and the one she wanted didn't love her
Rustim was lustful and had evil eyes on Mihirma and married her bu blackmailing hirrem for her cunning activities
Fake Promise....She married Meharma with Rustam Pasha for hiding and promoting her wrong evil doingsb😅
Rustem agha 💪
Hurrem broke her promise to Mihrimah just for her benefits. What a evil snake she is..
It's easy to blame Hurrem and not those conspiring to bring her down. She truly tried to make Mihrimah happy, she even ask Bali Bey if he wanted to marry her and he chose not too. And had she not broken the promise, Hurrem and her sons would've been killed. Mihrimah would've been devastated.
@@lovelydove8770 Still not an excuse to do evil things.. She didn't even do it for her kids but for power she did to gain more power not to protect her kids. She is a selfish mother we can see by this scene that she dosen't care about Mihrimah but for these chambers. She is such a selfish snake.
She made the agreement initially with Rüstem so she could come back from exile though as far as I remember. And that is definitely related to protecting her children from danger in her absense. That doesn't make what she did OK but there is a difference between a morally grey character who is also a toxic parent and just being evil. And Hürrem is the former. Besides what do you make of the Valide essentially doing the same thing to her daughters by marrying them off against their wishes to creeps?
@@hurremsultannss Valide Ayse Hafsa Sultan has let Hatice marry Ibrahim Pasa she because Hatice had feelings for Ibrahim she wasn't forced to marry him. For Beyhan i can say that she loved her husband because when Suleiman killed him she cried. Fatma was i think forced by Suleiman when she was old i think. For Shah i am not clearly sure if she was forced but i can say that her husband abused her. But Valide had right to marry her daughters off because she was the most important woman in harem than that snake Hurrem. Valide at least didn't forced Hatice to marry someone who she didn't loved.. While Hurrem was against any lover Mihrimah had just for her own benefits.
@@gordanaterzic4121 It's safe to assume that Şah was forced though. Since she clearly has feelings for Ibrahim and none for Lütfi. And Fatma is probably in a situation like that too. Although we don't know much about her marriage to Mustafa Paşa. Her husband was also a creep just like Rüstem to boot. İ doubt that will convince you though. As you have clearly bought wholesale and entirely uncritically into the value system of the Dynasty and the hierarchy. Which is why you're so much less concerned about the real issue here. Which is the creepy men. Functionally as her mother, Hürrem marrying off her daughter is no different. Besides it's interesting that you left out the other bit of context that I mentioned in Hürrem's case. Which makes her look not quite as bad. And as for Hürrem being against any of Mihrimah's loves, she was against Tasliçali because he could have become a backchannel to harm her brothers. And Bali Bey because she was a child at first and then because she saw Bali behind Hürrem's back. Which most parents wouldn't take well.
