He made her The Empress of The Ottoman Empire, which gave her equal status to him. Which means she never bowed to anyone, not even to Süleyman's sisters.

I think more was the placement of what she said 🤩 She didn't just say it because it's what he said to her, NO she said it while proving that while she didn't like the woman she indeed only did it because it was for his safety. She proved again that he made the right choice making her his Haseki Sultan, putting her In charge of his Harem and that as mother of his children she was a capable woman and fit for him to talk and keep counsel with. I would like to point out my observations of this episode that are noteworthy. -Firstly when Suleiman went to Hurrem about Firuzes imprisonment unlike the time when Hurrem was thrown in the dungeon he did not immediently order for her release instead he asked Hurrem why she threw her in the dungeon. This is a VERY clear sign that what he feels for Hurrem is different compared to Firuze. If he really loved Firuze so much he would have had her released first and THEN asked for reasons. But he did not. -Secondly once he sees Firuze enter and smile,let us compare it with when he sees Hurrem. With Hurrem his eyes twinkle and his smile is broad,his whole face is radiating happiness and shines like the Sun. But Firuze it is different,he does smile faintly which people could interpret as tenderness the same with his eyes but if one looks closely it is not the case. His eyes are glassy unfocused yet seem to only see her,he is 'enchanted'. Literally I mean. With her his mind is clouded but when Hurrem calls to him you can see he regains clarity right away and focuses on the matter at hand. Firuze is confirmed a witch who spelled Suleiman into 'loving' her. This gives Firuze so much confidance and WHY she always tells Hurrem about their 'love'. Of course Hurrem never trusted her,she knew true love and Firuze never loved Suleiman. Firuze herself did not expect Suleiman to stll love Hurrem as he did. He was suppossed to only love HER and only have eyes for HER. But he truly loved Hurrem foiling Firuzes plan from completely unfolding. So she tries breaking Hurrem and having her give up on Suleiman so Suleiman would give up on her completely and fall under her spell wholly. It failed of course. I believe that is why she always touched Suleiman so much when begging to better influence him letting her live so she could leave.
I like your analysis of the whole situation concerning Suleyman's and firuze's relationship and I agreed with you too that firuze enchanted and bewitched Suleyman for a while until Hureem woke him up with her love and loyalty to him and the dynasty. Hureem was lucky ghat instead of killing firuze and dirty ingredients her hands with her blood, rustem came up with this idea of exposing her connection to the enemy's dynasty. Then she's not accused of being a murderer but instead a heroine exposing a spy who managed to sneak into the harem and then the world's sultan's chamber. As well as bringing down Hureem's enemies Ibrahim and hatice.
Well, what else should they have done? That's what the whole series is about. It's basically the 'Housewifes of...' set in the Ottoman empire. The time period makes for a great setting, but it's not meant to be a history lesson. It's just entertainment.

Afife Hatun and Daye Hatun is not fair to Hurrem, all of them knows what happen to Hurrem since in the beginning..but they never protected Hurrem as a favorite of sultan Suyleiman..Hurrem was maltreated from dynasty family including Valide but they never reported what they know and what they saw to Hurrem.

Actually her plan was brilliant and pretty realistic if you've ever seen arsenic or mercury poisoning victims (Although mercury victims tend to reach insanity which would have been a telltale sign that someone was trying to kill him....). For one, it was a poison that no one could identify Two, had she done a one and cut, she would have been executed upon completing her mission. Can't exactly have that, now can we? A slow poisoning was BRILLIANT because then no one would have figured it out had she stayed at the palace and faked her sadness..... Poison is sooooo much fun to research, and what each does is super interesting.

Suleiman's love for firuze turned into 360° in one night. Hurrem also did so many mistakes but he never permanently sent her away but when it comes to mahidevran or firuze he became totally cold.

Firuze's character was written poorly unlike Victoria's. We saw her motive and attempts on the Sultan. We saw nothing of this with Firuze. Who was her contact? Was she sending messages about the Ottoman empire back to the Savfid dynasty? I didnt even know her end game was to kill the Sultan. And she never even tried - unlike Victoria. But she's a very good liar.
Exactly! That bothers me a lot. They could've at least shown her acting suspiciously from time to time, but they never did, and it was only in the end that she was revealed as a spy... pointless.
firuze has been slowly poisoning the sultan. After her leaving, the sultan gets very ill from it. If she were to stay a little longer, Firuze could have continued poisoning him until the end.
Vahide is a wonderful actress....but the entire second half of the series was missing Meryem's sass and attitude...only she could give Hurrem the personality needed to succeed in defeating all against her. Vahide was too giving, submissive and light in playing Hurrem. She didn't have Meryem's spark. As for "Firuze"....she may have loved Suleiman (though he clearly did not love her as is seen in the hardness of his eyes when he finds out she's Persian)....however, we forget that she was indeed a spy , that she was taken back to Persia to report to the shah and the real Firuze and that after she left Suleiman nearly died....so how did she poison him?
For me Suleiman should to kill Firuze but still to believe in her "love" and just send her away. Without knowing Hürrem save Suleiman's life in time. Ps: I remember how I was in shock first time I saw the truth Firuze's identity😳 congrats for the writers. They make Firuze's character as sweet, noble heart and genuine that I felt so sorry for her exile the first time

This scenes are so painfully bad to watch. I mean, ok, they felt they couldn’t leave it unfinished after Meral Okay’s death. But, honestly, I wish they had just left it and not continued for a third season. When you can’t find a worthy screenwriter to replace her, but put her assistant, who isn’t even near her league, then it would be better to just leave it. This was Meral Okay’s vision. The two seasons after her death were completely pointless.
So because Hurrem was jealous, she behaved somewhat like Mahidevran, because she didn’t want to share his love. Just an huge unfortunate system all because men think it’s so awesome to have so many women. Then they complain because of all the drama, fighting, and scheming that comes with it.

Nope. In the real events of history. I have read many books about Ottoman Empire and their sultans. Suleyman the Magnificent remained loyal to Hurrem. He banished the harem for her. He changed and broke many things for Hurrem. She won his heart from the beginning until her last breath.
@@IslanderloverBKK I was only remarking my opinion from the story line the show projected. I think I would have preferred it if they had shown Sulliman being faithful and constant in his love for Hurrem. The show portrayed his love for her as fickle and conditional. It was just sad is all.
I love that having masterfully set everything in motion Hurrem stands there almost giddy with excitement waiting for Sulieman to come to her to demand answers as she knows he will. You can tell that she just can't wait to tell him and essentially throw in his face exactly who his " favorite " really is. She knows once she tells him the truth about the little Persian snake not only will Firuze be gone but her enemies who supported Firuze will be seriously weakened in power and start to fall like dominos. Notice Firuze was already out of the dungeons and there to be brought in before Sulieman once he got there. Hurrem obviously had her quickly brought there the moment she was informed of Sulieman's return such was her anticipation and relish of this moment of major victory .
Remember she help a slave escape but she didn't and she was not taken to palace right away, her goal was to become favorit / close to majesty. Uses her emotions, " love" , her words li,e Ibraham does
That seemed to be a very brutal time in history, the Ottomans were not known for their kindness. It would have been difficult to survive in that situation. I thought the whole storyline of Firuze was very weak and confusing. Turns out when she was rescued by the Persians on her way to the Hunting Lodge Firuze wasn’t even her name. This was never explained. And was she she one who poisoned Sulyman? Nothing was ever mentioned about that possibility even though it happened right after she left. Was she feeding him poison slowly? The whole story about her had a lot of questions. Fortunately, she is a fictional character who never existed at all. So it doesn’t matter much, but it was a sloppy story line.

I would like to point out my observations of this episode that are noteworthy.
-Firstly when Suleiman went to Hurrem about Firuzes imprisonment unlike the time when Hurrem was thrown in the dungeon he did not immediently order for her release instead he asked Hurrem why she threw her in the dungeon. This is a VERY clear sign that what he feels for Hurrem is different compared to Firuze. If he really loved Firuze so much he would have had her released first and THEN asked for reasons. But he did not.
-Secondly once he sees Firuze enter and smile,let us compare it with when he sees Hurrem. With Hurrem his eyes twinkle and his smile is broad,his whole face is radiating happiness and shines like the Sun. But Firuze it is different,he does smile faintly which people could interpret as tenderness the same with his eyes but if one looks closely it is not the case. His eyes are glassy unfocused yet seem to only see her,he is 'enchanted'. Literally I mean. With her his mind is clouded but when Hurrem calls to him you can see he regains clarity right away and focuses on the matter at hand.
Firuze is confirmed a witch who spelled Suleiman into 'loving' her. This gives Firuze so much confidance and WHY she always tells Hurrem about their 'love'. Of course Hurrem never trusted her,she knew true love and Firuze never loved Suleiman. Firuze herself did not expect Suleiman to stll love Hurrem as he did. He was suppossed to only love HER and only have eyes for HER. But he truly loved Hurrem foiling Firuzes plan from completely unfolding. So she tries breaking Hurrem and having her give up on Suleiman so Suleiman would give up on her completely and fall under her spell wholly. It failed of course. I believe that is why she always touched Suleiman so much when begging to better influence him letting her live so she could leave.
I like your analysis of the whole situation concerning Suleyman's and firuze's relationship and I agreed with you too that firuze enchanted and bewitched Suleyman for a while until Hureem woke him up with her love and loyalty to him and the dynasty. Hureem was lucky ghat instead of killing firuze and dirty ingredients her hands with her blood, rustem came up with this idea of exposing her connection to the enemy's dynasty. Then she's not accused of being a murderer but instead a heroine exposing a spy who managed to sneak into the harem and then the world's sultan's chamber. As well as bringing down Hureem's enemies Ibrahim and hatice.
They wasted a lot of screen time on Isabella, Sadika, Leo, Firuze, the parade of concubines, and Sultan's sisters.
All of them was annoying

Well, what else should they have done? That's what the whole series is about. It's basically the 'Housewifes of...' set in the Ottoman empire. The time period makes for a great setting, but it's not meant to be a history lesson. It's just entertainment.

Firuze's character was written poorly unlike Victoria's. We saw her motive and attempts on the Sultan. We saw nothing of this with Firuze. Who was her contact? Was she sending messages about the Ottoman empire back to the Savfid dynasty? I didnt even know her end game was to kill the Sultan. And she never even tried - unlike Victoria. But she's a very good liar.

firuze has been slowly poisoning the sultan. After her leaving, the sultan gets very ill from it. If she were to stay a little longer, Firuze could have continued poisoning him until the end.

Vahide is a wonderful actress....but the entire second half of the series was missing Meryem's sass and attitude...only she could give Hurrem the personality needed to succeed in defeating all against her. Vahide was too giving, submissive and light in playing Hurrem. She didn't have Meryem's spark. As for "Firuze"....she may have loved Suleiman (though he clearly did not love her as is seen in the hardness of his eyes when he finds out she's Persian)....however, we forget that she was indeed a spy , that she was taken back to Persia to report to the shah and the real Firuze and that after she left Suleiman nearly died....so how did she poison him?
For me Suleiman should to kill Firuze but still to believe in her "love" and just send her away. Without knowing Hürrem save Suleiman's life in time. Ps: I remember how I was in shock first time I saw the truth Firuze's identity😳 congrats for the writers. They make Firuze's character as sweet, noble heart and genuine that I felt so sorry for her exile the first time

This scenes are so painfully bad to watch. I mean, ok, they felt they couldn’t leave it unfinished after Meral Okay’s death. But, honestly, I wish they had just left it and not continued for a third season. When you can’t find a worthy screenwriter to replace her, but put her assistant, who isn’t even near her league, then it would be better to just leave it. This was Meral Okay’s vision. The two seasons after her death were completely pointless.
So because Hurrem was jealous, she behaved somewhat like Mahidevran, because she didn’t want to share his love. Just an huge unfortunate system all because men think it’s so awesome to have so many women. Then they complain because of all the drama, fighting, and scheming that comes with it.

The really sad thing is that Hurrem didn’t win, Firuze just lost. Sulliman didn’t choose his love for Hurrem over Firuze, Hurrem won by default. His love was so fickle. 💔
Nope. In the real events of history. I have read many books about Ottoman Empire and their sultans. Suleyman the Magnificent remained loyal to Hurrem. He banished the harem for her. He changed and broke many things for Hurrem. She won his heart from the beginning until her last breath.
@@IslanderloverBKK I was only remarking my opinion from the story line the show projected. I think I would have preferred it if they had shown Sulliman being faithful and constant in his love for Hurrem. The show portrayed his love for her as fickle and conditional. It was just sad is all.

I love that having masterfully set everything in motion Hurrem stands there almost giddy with excitement waiting for Sulieman to come to her to demand answers as she knows he will. You can tell that she just can't wait to tell him and essentially throw in his face exactly who his " favorite " really is. She knows once she tells him the truth about the little Persian snake not only will Firuze be gone but her enemies who supported Firuze will be seriously weakened in power and start to fall like dominos. Notice Firuze was already out of the dungeons and there to be brought in before Sulieman once he got there. Hurrem obviously had her quickly brought there the moment she was informed of Sulieman's return such was her anticipation and relish of this moment of major victory .

Herrem is CORRECT protecting her marriage with Soleiman by running off other woman who are after her husband.
That seemed to be a very brutal time in history, the Ottomans were not known for their kindness. It would have been difficult to survive in that situation. I thought the whole storyline of Firuze was very weak and confusing. Turns out when she was rescued by the Persians on her way to the Hunting Lodge Firuze wasn’t even her name. This was never explained. And was she she one who poisoned Sulyman? Nothing was ever mentioned about that possibility even though it happened right after she left. Was she feeding him poison slowly? The whole story about her had a lot of questions. Fortunately, she is a fictional character who never existed at all. So it doesn’t matter much, but it was a sloppy story line.
