    Click here to watch The Rise Of Hurrem 👉 • The Rise Of Hurrem - M...
    At the age of 26, when he ascended to the throne, Sultan Suleiman aimed to build an empire more powerful than Alexander the Great and to render the Ottomans invincible. Throughout his 46-year reign, he became the greatest warrior and ruler of both East and West.
    The young Suleiman received news of his succession to the throne during a hunting party in 1520. Unaware that he would be ruling a reign beyond his dreams, he left behind his wife son and took to the road with his close friend and companion Pargali Ibrahim to reach the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul. As they started their journey overland, an Ottoman ship set sail from Crimea in the Black Sea, bringing female slaves as gifts for the Ottoman palace… On this ship was Alexandra La Rossa, the daughter of a Ukrainian Orthodox minister, taken away from her family and sold to the Crimean palace. She had no idea that she would become Hurrem, wife of Sultan Suleiman and mother of princes, ruling the empire with him through bloodshed and intrigue.
    As Sultan Suleiman conquered the world, his great passion for Hurrem would clash with his love for and trust in his closest friend and advisor, Grand Vizier Pargali Ibrahim, all set against the backdrop of the tension between Christian Europe and the Ottoman Empire in the 16th century.

      Yes, she did learn a lot about control and keeping her temper in check. But sometimes just showing enough to her enemies that did not o over the top, but told them that this cat has claws, and she is willing to scratch any palace witch who dares to tick her off or mess with her. Nigar told her that she needs to calm down and hold her temper. and she did.

    Actually, it was Ibrahim' s own fault, his ego and his pride. Everybody always blames Hurrem, but this time it wasn't her. Ibrahim was getting more bold and more outrageous, it all finely caught up with him.

    • @empresskrissy1527
      @empresskrissy1527 3 месяца назад +24

      I agree with you. He placed himself above the sultan. Suleiman wasn't going to tolerate that. Ibrahim was arrogant and egotistical. He believed he was untouchable. He believed he could do whatever he wanted to anyone he wanted whenever he wanted and he could get away with it. I feel bad for Hatice but she was obsessed with Ibrahim. They had a toxic relationship and her love for him was unhealthy. He used her and abused her then blamed her for everything. She was better off without him. Instead of helping her heal, the people around her (like Gulfem, Mahidevran, Shah, Mustafa, etc) encouraged her to keep seeking revenge which didn't help matters at all.

    • @lindaDaddario
      @lindaDaddario 29 дней назад +4

      I agree. Ibrahim was an arrogant stuck-up fool who was hoisted on his own ego. He ticked Suleyman by his own petards!! He did make a throne for himself, made a statue of himself that depicted him as the sultan, called himself the sultan, and did other things and mistakes that cost him his life. But of course, everyone blamed Hurrem for Ibrahim's death, especially Hatice. Who very promptly took a hissy fit at Hurrem every moment she could, trying to take revenge on her. Even kidnapping her and probably would have had her killed, if Suleyman had not found out that she was behind this plot. She said to Suleyman as she was dying from takin poison that Hurrem won't even have a gravestone, just like Ibrahim!!" Of course, this was just in the series and in actual history Hatice did not kidnap Hurrem or commit suicide. In fact, they are not even sure if Hatice and Ibrahim were even married in real life.

    It's understandable that Hürrem didnt want her kids being involved in her foghtd, but at a certain point she really, really should have filled in Mehmet and Mihrimah on her affairs. Mahidervan blamed Hurrem for her grandson getting smallpox, so later she made sure Mehmet was fatally exposed to it and died. In Ep. 103, you can see Mahidervan smile when her concubine told her that Mehmet had succumbed to smallpox. A very dirty victory for that witch!! Hurrem couldn't believe Ibrahim's dead because it looked as if Suleiman was letting Ibrahim to get away with many things that could be considered treason and for which Ibrahim should have been executed, look at Hurrem's face when Sumbul tells her Ibrahim has been executed, she can't believe it and her brain doesn't process this until she sees Suleiman.
    I know Hurrem wanted to get rid of Ibrahim but I think she wanted to get him kicked out or something, I don't think she thought Suleiman was actually going to execute his best friends, not after letting him get away with so much, for so long.

    • @lindaDaddario
      @lindaDaddario 28 дней назад +2

      They always blamed the Sultanate of Women for the eventually decline of the Ottoman Empire. This is because they believed that these women interfered in the state causing more problems. But in actuality, it was the sultans themself after Suleyman who the cause of the decline that history has this recorded: Selim 2, once he took the throne gave the power to Sokullu Pasha who ruled in his name. Selim 2 did make peace treaties with the Safavid, the Hapsburgs, and the Holy Roman Empire, but lost a major naval battle at Lepanto, and the failed capture of Astrakhan as part of the war with Russia. He was said to have spent his time in the harem with his concubines, drinking and having fun. His son and grandson did the same thing and left the running of the empire to others while they enjoyed themselves. They did make some decisions which kept the empire afloat, but in the end, they failed. Up to 1683, the empire was still in full tilt, but after that with the many losses they had in battle and lost territories, the Ottoman's started be looked at with very less prestige and more as a joke. If the CUP hadn't allied itself with the central forces of Austro-Hungary Empire and taken their side in World War 1, maybe they might have survived? But then there were the massacres in 1915 by the Ottoman's that made the Turkish people very unhappy with the monarchy, and that and losing the war was enough to bring them down!!!! Suleyman would have been taking a fit rolling in his Turbe knowing what his empire had turned out to become!!

      Because I was too dangerous a man to simply leave alive after firing him ; in revenge for being fired and replaced as a grand v would I have:
      1) plotted to start and fund rebellions against S
      2) secretly aided the Persians and the other enemies of S
      3)plotted assassination attempts against S , H and H's children
      Some people , like I , are safer 6 ft under where they are harmless , than 6ft above where they are dangerous .
      Not advocating murder , just stating a reality .

    Suleiman was a suspicious and low confident man..he killed his best friend and then his own son because of jealousy..i red in some evidences that he even killed his father to become sultan...and about hurrem..more than happiness you see fear and shock in her eyes when she finds out about ibrahims death...like she thinks i live with a murderer who can kill his beloved ones and maybe someday he kill me too...

      Ibrahim genuinely had turned prideful. He had started abusing the power Suleiman has entrusted him with which lead to his death

    • @Borntobekpoper
      @Borntobekpoper 29 дней назад

      @MdImran-hq8og well, after ibrahim's death, hurrem became way prideful, and suleiman knew that too. But hurrem wasn't a man, so suleiman wasn't afraid of her actions. Ibrahim and mustafa could become sultan cause they were men. As i said, suleiman was afraid of them cause he was low-confident and jealous. Ibrahim was the best for the entire imperial. Most of suleiman's achievements were because of ibrahim's intelligence.

      @@Borntobekpoper but that doesn't change that Ibrahim too has turned prideful. He had started claiming himself as Sultan which led to his death. Hurrem never claimed herself to be above Suleiman.

    After watching this serial....I wonder how can a great king love such a wicked woman..no doubt Hurrem was loyal to sultan..but Sulaiman always ignored how she dealt so badly to others...it implies that if you are loyal to king then others don't matter and you get absolute authority to do wrong to.others
