The news that the Sultana has waken up spreads in the palace quickly. Sultan Suleiman calls Nigar without losing time. The tension between Mahidevran and Hurrem increases with that the Sultana has got better. Nothing will be the same in the harem after the news Nigar has brought. Mahidevran takes the management of harem during the Sultana's absence. Mahidevran quickly turns harem into a hell for Hurrem. She sends the odalisques away who are close to Hurrem. Hurrem intervenes that right away but she pays a heavy price because what Gul Aga has done. Iskender Celebi goes through the records of the meetings that Ibrahim has had with messengers. He doesn't hesitate giving Ibrahim's speakings to Sultan Suleiman. Sultan Suleiman can't hide that he's surprised after what he has read. Ibrahim finds Sultan Suleiman right before him after he returns from the campaign. The rise of Mahidevran disturbs Hurrem. Hurrem starts looking for a way to get rid of Mahidevran and she looks for a new allience.
At the age of 26, when he ascended to the throne, Sultan Suleiman aimed to build an empire more powerful than Alexander the Great and to render the Ottomans invincible. Throughout his 46-year reign, he became the greatest warrior and ruler of both East and West.
The young Suleiman received news of his succession to the throne during a hunting party in 1520. Unaware that he would be ruling a reign beyond his dreams, he left behind his wife son and took to the road with his close friend and companion Pargali Ibrahim to reach the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul. As they started their journey overland, an Ottoman ship set sail from Crimea in the Black Sea, bringing female slaves as gifts for the Ottoman palace… On this ship was Alexandra La Rossa, the daughter of a Ukrainian Orthodox minister, taken away from her family and sold to the Crimean palace. She had no idea that she would become Hurrem, wife of Sultan Suleiman and mother of princes, ruling the empire with him through bloodshed and intrigue.
As Sultan Suleiman conquered the world, his great passion for Hurrem would clash with his love for and trust in his closest friend and advisor, Grand Vizier Pargali Ibrahim, all set against the backdrop of the tension between Christian Europe and the Ottoman Empire in the 16th century.

Honestly, how Hatice behaves here is absolutely how Ayşe Hafsa (and, honestly, Hatice and her sisters) probably behaved in real life, trying to remain neutral, yet stepping in to prevent undue ruptures. Not to mention, in contrast to her management of her son's harem later where she excels, this arc really features some of Mahidevran on her worst behavior.

I agree with your statement. You're actually one of the most normal people I've conversed with as Mahidevran and Hurrem were both vile to each other. My issue is the person I commented to tried to place a halo on Hurrem's head and said she was a superior human because Mahidevran was a slave.

Hatice Sultan is too powerful than Mahidevran Sultan and Hurrem Sultan. Hatice Sultan is female doublure of her brother Sultan Suleyman and she've the autority to make order as her want if this is necessary and her brother agree with all of her sister décisions, all members of the Ottoman Court do respect Hatice Sultan.
