Suleiman the Magnificent is extremely sick!
Suleiman hides his sickness from everyone, even from Hürrem. He goes to campaign while he's sick but another danger awaits him there. Mihrimah sets her mind on taking revenge on Fatma. Meanwhile, Fatma secretly meets with Elkas without knowing Mihrimah's plans. While Fatma gets accussed by fornication, Rüstem saves her. However, he actually has another plan.
A man who comes from the capital wants Mustafa to stop the campaign. Sparrowhawk starts following the man and finds out Suleiman will be assassinated. Mustafa appears before his father. Father and son fall out even more.
Selim comes to the capital as Vice Regent. Selim gets angry because Cihangir is dissatisfied with the situation and has a fight with him. Cihangir gets destroyed because of what Selim has told him and wants to join the campaign. Selim falls under throne's spell and gets even angrier and makes an offer to his mother.
At the age of 26, when he ascended to the throne, Sultan Suleiman aimed to build an empire more powerful than Alexander the Great and to render the Ottomans invincible. Throughout his 46-year reign, he became the greatest warrior and ruler of both East and West.
The young Suleiman received news of his succession to the throne during a hunting party in 1520. Unaware that he would be ruling a reign beyond his dreams, he left behind his wife son and took to the road with his close friend and companion Pargali Ibrahim to reach the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul. As they started their journey overland, an Ottoman ship set sail from Crimea in the Black Sea, bringing female slaves as gifts for the Ottoman palace… On this ship was Alexandra La Rossa, the daughter of a Ukrainian Orthodox minister, taken away from her family and sold to the Crimean palace. She had no idea that she would become Hurrem, wife of Sultan Suleiman and mother of princes, ruling the empire with him through bloodshed and intrigue.
As Sultan Suleiman conquered the world, his great passion for Hurrem would clash with his love for and trust in his closest friend and advisor, Grand Vizier Pargali Ibrahim, all set against the backdrop of the tension between Christian Europe and the Ottoman Empire in the 16th century.

Hatice was the youngest sister of suleiman and by the time Hurrem arrived at the palace only hatice was present there as all of the other daughters of Hafsa were married. The only thing I don't understand is hurrem is younger than Suleiman's sisters then how come she's suffering menopause and became old all of a sudden while fatima sultan is so young 🤦♀️ She acts as if she's younger than mihrimah too

Edit: After a bit of reading, I found out I was right. Apparently, while sisters and daughters of a sultan are considered to be of the same rank (The first being the daughters of a sultan, albeit deceased, and the second being the daughters of the current sultan). However, because of filial piety and seniority, the daughters bow to the aunts, etc.
The real life wasn’t this dramatic you’re inferior I’m superior kind of environment. They were a literal family. And in Asian/Islamic families elders are suppose to be respected regardless of ranks (also Mihrimah and Fatma were of same ranks, they were both Princesses, there were no daughter-princess or sister-princess concept, they holded the same rank). So it would be super common and understandable if Mihrimah bowed to Fatma as she was her aunt.

While Mustafa plan to use Fatma was pointless it could have been better if Fatma acted as a spy rather than constantly antagonising Hurrem and her circle which proved she was like a fish amongst sharks, also a nice twist would have been Fatma actually joining Hurrem team in the end which is realistically speaking something everyone would have done

This is why I think Hurrem was the better mother. She always admonishes her children when they fight with the Sultana sisters or when they talk back to Mahidevran and Ibrahim. She didn't like them to get involved with her fight against her enemies. Mahidevran for her part never missed a chance to have Mustafa rally behind her all the time. Not only that, she always makes sure she has Valide, Ibrahim, and the sisters of Suleiman back her against her fight with Hurrem. So it's practically Hurrem vs. everyone close to Suleiman before Rustem came along
