@Brooklyn Don The very early 80s was a lull for this kind of music. The bands were cutting their (just look at the audience for the short hair) and even heard you weren't getting signed if you had long hair.
Note that Schenker's hair was fairly trim, though not all the band. I guess if you were established you didn't have to go by that new trend.
But of course, just a few years later the new metal era had the over the top hairdo's

@A.D. "Makin' Love", by Kiss, was written by Paul Stanley and Sean Delaney. Gene Simmons would sue his dead grandmother if she owed him a dime.

I had the privilege of seeing this line-up, same year, in Baltimore Md. MSG opened for Rush, both bands were great, but Michael stole the show in my opinion.

I saw the same line up live in the UK in 1981 too. Sadly at the age of 15 I was probably too young to fully appreciate it.

The flying "V" is a great guitar espiecially with Schenker at the helm. He is soooo undr rated or at least not recognized. One of the greatest ever. I would liked to have seen him with Dave Vanlanding as I used to watch him as a kid. I was hoping to to see Dave and get a chance to play with Dave and Michael live. I heard Dave passed - RIP.

Schitterend man !
