This song was in the finals for Song Of The Year and deserved to be. Cetera's lead vocals are as good as they get.

You have to react to Chicago BEFORE they went totally pop. Listen to their 1st album and you will understand.

Definitely. Introduction is a must. 1st song on first album. A perfect “introduction” to this amazing band before they went total soft ballady pop.

I am a Korean in my 50s and the Chicago was my favorite artist when I was a teenager.
I'm really glad to hear about the Chicago Reaction.
I still vividly remember listening to the American Top 40 on the radio when I was in high school and hearing this song, “Hard habit to break,” reach number 3 on the Billboard singles chart.

I'd like to suggest some of the older Chicago songs with Terry Kath on guitar (Pre 1978). "Questions 67 And 68" "25 or 6 to 4" "Make Me Smile" "I've Been Searchin' So Long" "Feelin' Stronger Every Day" "Call On Me" 🙂

Early Chicago is nothing like these ballady songs after the great Terry Kath passed.

I saw this band at the Irvine Amphitheater sitting on the lawn on the hill behind the seats. By the end of the concert, I had the biggest wedgie. It was worth it. Great concert. ✌️

Emma, I would absolutely LOVE to hear you react to Electric Light Orchestra and their signature song Mr. Blue Sky. Everyone feels happy while listening to it. Everyone, please like if you agree!!!!
-- Mr. Blue Sky was released in 1977 and written by lead singer Jeff Lynne, a legend ahead of his time. Some people say it's the happiest song of all time and I love how the song, lyrics, and meaning are so simple. It's about how happy we are when we see a nice, clear, sunny day and nothing more than that. It's so true too. Please consider reacting to it Emma.

This one, as you said, two really different voices and ways of singing - love both! 😍But Bill Champlin has been a house-God for a long time! Thank you for this memory! Gotta go back and listen to 17, 18 and 19! 🙂

My late wife loved Peter Cetera(first singer). He became a successful solo artist after leaving Chicago. "Saturday in the Park" is another good Chicago song.

Please react to Kim Jong Kook's Killing voice. He's a legend in the Kpop scene (more seen in the entertainment/variety side nowadays).
His voice is very unique and you wont find a tone like his from any other male singers in the Kpop industry

Chicago has So many Wonderful songs. Peter Cetera is the lead in most of their songs. Cetera eventually went solo after many years. Cetera and Amy Grant done a solo together also!! ( Awesome )! And Cetera also sung the main song from the movie, the karate kid! But Chicago has so many Hits 🎯 btw i enjoy All of your reactions. ❤

Chicago, ostensibly a 70s band, made a huge comeback in the 80s with a couple of albums helmed by legendary monster producer David Foster. Foster made the most of his creative control by co-writing a lot of the hits, and by bringing in top shelf L.A. session musicians, like Toto's Steve Lukather on guitar. (Something that caused a lot of tension in the band). Shortly thereafter the lead singer and bassist Peter Cetera left the band and launched a solo career that fizzled out. In this song we hear quite a bit of the legendary Chicago horn section that once founded the band, but they too felt slighted by Foster's direction. The band still exists though, although they never reached that level of success again.

This was the end for Chicago. David Foster had turned a once great rock/jazz fusion band in to a cookie cutter, commercial soft rock/pop entity.
