  • What is the payload on a 23 f450 pickup truck?
In my videos I talk about my experience owning my Ford F350 with the 7.3 GODZILLA V8. I also feature my 2019 F250 with the 6.2 L gas v8, And if you like diesel content we also feature 6.7 powerstoke content as well. Comment below and thanks for watching!

Hi there! I have a 350 srw with the 7.3 and tow only a 10k travel trailer. I LOVE it. It is overkill for that trailer. But…I don’t want any towing issues. I was concerned about the 7.3 in the Colorado mountains, and that has proven to be not an event. The 7.3 pulls the 10k travel trailer up any of our mountain passes at the posted speed limits.
Our truck payload is 4300lbs. I love that too. I don’t really have to count pounds when we load up our truck.

      The 7.3 is a beast.

You will when you load a camper bed on while towing a travel trailer at the same time.

Just a heads up, broke front valance pulling truck outta mud. Ordered a shorter one (prior year) will let u know how goes. Between the huge valance and front rake the 1 tons look silly from the side

I'm getting rid of my 2022 450 and was hoping you could tell me if the wandering steering has been fixed in 2023?

Jesus you just brought up a scary point. Do you think it's going to be a bad setup if I plan to tow 20000 to 25000 with that 5000 payload? I was planning on using a goose neck. Im new to this and was doing non CDL loads last summer in Enterprise 350 DRW rentals for my customers.

I think it would be ok. But would be cdl

@@DS-TRUCKS Getting CDL when I return to US in a few weeks but you bring up a valid point. I may be able to make some very good $ towing mill rolls that weight 25000 30000 but if I can't evenly distribute weight safely on a 450 Limited which is likely even lower payload compared to yours it won't be safe. I may need to get realistic and aim for 25000 lb max for my business model..
You mentioned potentially getting the truck re-rated. I would assume this is doable to avoid legality issues on overloading the tongue weight even if it can handle more due to Fords derating of the vehicle. I assume it may void the warranty though immediately. What do you think?

@@DS-TRUCKS From what I read my payload should be 15 to 25% of total weight hauled to promote healthy and stable safe weight distro. Trying to figure out by that logic what I will be maxed out at. Sounds like just because you can doesn't mean you should load it upwards of 30000 on these trucks.
