Beets are loaded with nitrates, which your body converts to nitric oxide, which relaxes your blood vessels and lowers your blood pressure. Cucumbers are full of B vitamins and minerals. They're made up of over 95% water, so they make your juice, juicy. Apples have antioxidants and vitamins, plus they're sweet, so they help to cut that earthy flavor of the beet.
Ginger! It reduces inflammation, nausea, and bloating, but I can't stand peeling it. It has an antimicrobial factor, so it's good for your immunity. I'm using my Nama J2 Juicer. Beet juice increases blood flow to your muscles. It enhances heart and lung function, and it can improve your exercise performance.

Here are some ideas on how to prepare beets:
-make beet juice
-slice beets and add them to a salad
-roast your beets
-slice raw beets, carrots, and broccoli and dip them in a low sodium dressing that is LOW in saturated fat (like an olive oil, minced garlic, red pepper vinaigrette)
-eat them raw with a little red pepper and a hint of extra virgin olive oil
-roast beets and add them to a spicy, leafy green vegetable or a cruciferous
vegetable (ie cabbage, kale, brussels sprouts)

Good video. Potassium is good for lowering BP too. It lowers in two ways :
1) increases urination
2) keeps vessels open so they don't constrict

Hey Doc thanks for the info but did you forget to also warn about it's high oxalate content which might be a problem for kidney patients due to the formation of kidney stones?
You don’t have to peel the ginger, especially with a Nama juicer. Just give it a good scrub with a strong vegetable brush.

My fav power fuel: beets,carrots,water melon(with the inner rind), ginger, and mangoes.

How much should I drink at a time. What is the yield?
So you don't want to peel the ginger, huh!! Nor do i! It's very intricate!! What I have started doing is to buy it before that peel creates. Wash and scrub it in the cleansing solution like the other fruits & veggies. Rinse very well. After that, I use it with the peel that develops.
One more thing, do you also blend the beet greens in the juice? 🤔

yes. they are beneficial too.
If you use organic ginger, you don’t need to peel it. Wash it and drop in the juicer!
