      Dr.Frita,I was told by a nurse NOT to mix my blueberries with bananas in a smoothie. She said the bananas will negate the antioxidants in the blueberries. Is this true? I love the taste of a smoothie made with almond milk,blueberries,bananas,and manuka honey.

    Thank you so much Dr. Freda. My doctor tried to put me on blood pressure meds back in January. (190/140)I decided to break the “high blood pressure/high cholesterol/heart issues” cycle that our family has had over the years. I started watching your channel and doing my research. I’ve cut out the meats and went pescatarian. (Fish only 2 times a week.) I’ve lost 40 lbs and my blood pressure and cholesterol are back to normal. I also feel much better. Thank you so much for showing that even though you may still need blood pressure meds, it’s in our hands to do the hard work to make ourselves feel better!

    I wash my fruit with white Vinegar, and let it soak about 10 minutes to wash pesticides 😊😊

    I agree with all of this but it's one that you forgot. Pineapples but they are loaded with bromelain and they promote weight loss and lower blood pressure. Plus they're very delicious

    You're the only other person who pretty much labeled cucumbers as a fruit. I said that for years and people just ignored me. The taste is what convinced me, it reminds me of a melon that's not sweet but still great to eat. I'm so glad that I subscribed to your channel. Great video

    Hi Dr. Frita, as a "MARFANS" patient, I have hypertension and take a very high amount of blood pressure medication on a daily basis that leaves me feeling daze all day, which is no way to live. So I'm gonna get all these fruits you just mentioned and hope they work for me as I need to feel like I'm a part of the active world again.

    I eat all of these fruits you mentioned and more. Pineapples, oranges. Apples , kiwi , bananas, cantaloupe . I Love them all ! ❤

    I cut the watermelon in smaller chucks & freeze it. When frozen use as snacks. Creating an aqua fresca. Cucumber makes a killer aqua fresca; I love it with pulp or without pulp. Thank you for the message.

    Love a watermelon smoothie with lemon and a knob of ginger root. Sometimes I add little chia seeds and walnuts. As for blueberries, I rinse, freeze and have a healthy snack.

    My husband ate frozen grass when he wax on dialysis. He got a transplant on JANUARY 23, 2023. I wish I would have known about the potassium/magnesium thing when they kept saying his potassium was off. I now take magnesium as a woman in my forties understanding the importance of magnesium in my diet!

    Hello Dr. Frita, I am new to your channel. So glad you popped up on my feed. I was surprised and so happy to see all of these delicious fruits on your list. Just today got prescribed medication for my blood pressure. It's been elevated for 5 months now as I have monitored it. Thank God my blood tests all came back good and healthy. I do need to lose about 66 lbs. As well as do a sleep study because for 2 years I have been snoring heavily. They want to see if I have sleep apnea to determine if that's the cause of my blood pressure being so high. Today it was 181/92, it's usually on average 161/80. Im 49 and this is the first time I've had these issues. High bp is also hereditary for me.

    I eat all these Fruits except Blackberries & Muskmelon but will try them. Some Fruits are not available in certain States. And Cucumbers are so good when making Cucumber Water & with Mint Leaves.     Great tutorial.👍🏽 I love cherries in my smoothies. Good to reduce a variety of arthritis inflammation pain. I love seedless sweet red grapes because it’s reversotrol. Any season love fruit salads, and spinach salads. My must have is cantaloupe slices with eggs, lunch, and or dinner.😉

    I had an intern doctor tell me that my blood pressure would never go down and I had to take blood pressure meds for the rest of my life. I refused to take their meds. I juiced, exercised with Classical Stretch and the walk at home exercises. My blood pressure dropped 30 points. Like 😮!!! I never went back to the USF University clinic ever again.

    Thank you Dr. Frita! I want to get off blood pressure medication so badly. I've began doing more exercise again. I'm short an adrenal gland because of a 9mm benign mass that was precariously positioned so they had to take the whole gland. I deal with Grave's disease (hyperthyroidism) also but it's in remission and I've been able to get off medication for it.
    I'm going to increase my juicing and consumption of the fruits you've suggested and track my blood pressure readings.

    Hey Dr. Frita! I have a question. I mix cantaloupe 🍈 with watermelon 🍉 to make a salad. Is cantaloupe a good choice?

    I don't love watermelon alone but I love it in a green salad with feta cheese, cucumbers, & fresh herbs. So delicious & refreshing

    Dr. Frita, you are a genius, Since I watched your video, I tried out Cheery, plums and Watermelon, And I can confidently say it helped my high blood pressure. I do think its not something that regulates blood pressure, it progressively lowers it. So overdoing it might be unadvisable. BTW, my physician had never mentioned these possibilities for dealing with my high blood pressure, something I will have to ask the physician during our next appointment.

    Supplements of Magnesium and Potassium, will lower blood Pressure but the fruits with it will help significantly! You hank you!

    Overall all berries should be in your fridge plus drink lots of water or tea
