Dr. Frita is so good! I have watched a ton of her videos! She never disappoints! She is a straight shooter when it comes to the blood pressure issue! I love that she is relatable to the average person who is watching and explains it well. I have taken her tips and put them into practice. I have lost around ten pounds! It was off a bit, so, me being curious as a cat, I began researching, and I went to the site of a man who had kidney disease, and I went on a mini kidney failure diet. I soaked potatoes, if I fried them for breakfast, but otherwise avoided them. I drank more water, never held my urine, because I was so busy, lol. My mom died due to Nephritis...Thank my curious mind for agreeing to an autopsy. Some people said, "I would never agree to an autopsy, and have my loved one cut up." How rude, and empty headed a comment. I was grateful for the info, because I was pregnant with my first child, and, at 21 yrs. old, I had more brains then they did. I owed that info to my child, in case the reason for my mom's death was genetic. I believe it was her anger, and alchoholism. But, I still protect my lkidneys, because I learned that, as we age, our numbers go to the negative. Question...aren't beets high in oxilates? If so, how can they be good for high blood pressure?
I love Hibiscus tea...and I drink it often. If I make a fruit smoothy I use Hibiscus tea to water the smoothy down in the mixer. I use fresh or frozen fruits in my smoothies, too.

I just found this channel today and It's already one of my favorites. I've been a type 1 diabetic for 27 years and this information is essential for me. I've learned quite a few things since watching these videos. Thanks!
Thanks so much for this video, I make a long list of all your goodies. I will definitely add them in my daily routine. Much love and blessings to you and your family 🙏🏻.
I appreciate you Dr. Frita I have done all this with my mom and it works when we can afford to do them. She for some reason now doesn't care for Salmon any more at 83 yes old but I will get some kind if fish in her. And she loves smoothies so she gonna love that salads and she can eat beans everyday we have to work on quinoa more and lentils an chickpeas and I will eat them with her my sister not so much but thank yal enjoyed seeing the children making the smoothies lol.
Great video, and beautiful family. I have teens too so I know the deal, lol. Your kids are wonderful. Thank you for this wealth of information. I appreciate you.
I really like that you added your children in this video. It was real life. Thank you for this information. I was told last month I have stage 3 kidney disease. SO i want to learn all I can about preventing it from getting worse or even reversing it if possible. It was such a surprise when she told me. I went to a Nephologist he agreed with her. I don't understand why he is having me wait for 2 months before any treatment is done. But I am not a doctor. Again thank you for this video. I like how you explained the 15 foods to avoid yet shared foods to enjoy.
Thank you Dr Frita, and I thank the kids as well. Luv it! So real, lol. I learned some things especially info concerning the hibiscus tea. I also make smoothies and add things my family ends up liking that they have no idea I have added. Thanks for sharing.
Hi I love how your family is in the mix with you. I also love what your editor did with this video mix. That was so cool. Good job editing! 😊 Also thanks Dr Frida for the good advice. Now I know. Why my ankles are swollen and have edema. It’s more than likely from the meds. You probably just saved my life. ❤❤❤❤
I eat lots of blueberries, I love dried Goji berries, and my Serviceberry tree will give me beautiful berries in spring. I am not fond of beans, but I use kidney beans in chili...and I want to try adding black beans to it. I rinse sardines due to salt, in fact, I switched to canned mackerel. I like the texture better, and it didn't seem as salty. Thanks for the content...HBP is the pits!

This is gonna be good 👍😊
Thanks, Ms. Frita & Fam.
Thank you for helping us!

Thank you! My BP this morning was 160/101 🙃 I am going to watch my salt intake and incorporate some of these food into my diet. Looking forward to 120/77 💪🏾😊

GoodMorning 6/22/24 Sat
I'm hypertension I have medical background.
I'm on meds, I read everything before I consume, my doctor knows I will look into the extended-side effects of any prescribed meds.
If the side out weigh the benefits?? Don ain't taking it. If I do, it's within reason. I'm looking into addressing & not masking.
Thank Dr. Frita for this healthy info. Especially #7 ❤

Awesome video, thank you! I don’t recommend using the music placed into the video towards the end though, as that’s enough to raise blood pressure in itself! 😅❤
Thanks so much for sharing this I appreciate you ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I know that beets are great for lowering high blood pressure. What do you think Dr. Frita?
