I loved Jean......saw her five times in the 70's.........I lost my mind when she left the group.......all that talent ,plus she was drop dead beautiful...WHEW :)
I was a teen during the 70s & loved these ladies beyond words. Her voice and looks are absolutely mesmerizing....i see no color...only talent and beauty.....&.....btw.....I'm a white guy !
No, they did not. Never had another number one. All 12 number ones had Diana on lead. This song is a good album track but was not single worthy. It was way out of synch with the times. Everyone saying Jean had a great voice...on a whole album it put me to sleep.
Love the medley at the end with Bob Hope! If Motown promoted this lineup of the Supremes, I think they would have stood a chance. Mixing a blend of traditional showtunes with their latest hit. Genius!
So happy to see the medley with Bob Hope included in this video. Great fun. And I live for Jean’s vocal performance on this and Mary and Lynda’s “shimmy til you drop” moves. 🏐🎶💕
The lady's earlier in the day were at the May Co on Wishire Blvd promoting there Wig Collection. Had a great time showing how there wigs are to be worn to all the women crowd.
Yes they did lots of them everybody's got the right to love stoned love nathen Jones floy joy,up the ladder to the roof bad whether should have been one of them
Jean has a series of recorded interviews here on RUclips about her time with The Supremes. She also recorded her story years ago on cassettes or cds maybe, but she never wrote a book to my knowledge.
I am not crazy about it either. This song has been overhyped by Supremes fans, but it just wasn't something that was going to be a hit. The lyrical flow of the verses is really good and catchy, but the choruses aren't that catchy and are a little odd to listen to. This was a much better album cut than single. That this song was written and produced by Stevie Wonder meant nothing to radio programmers or the audience.

Jean had a beautiful voice
She sometimes sounds like a violin. So beautiful.
Bad Weather is one of my all-time favorites from The Sensational Supremes! 💃💃💃
I love Mary's and Linda's dance moves on Bad Weather. It's like they're both having the best time! Jean's voice is just beyond compare!
Love Mary and Lynda's solo parts!
Jean took the Supremes to another level. Jean has a voice.
You can say that again.
Mary said that Jean's voice is a beautiful instrument and she knows how to use it.
Mary & Linda really seemed to be having fun.
JEAN IS MAJESTIC- THAT BEAUTIFUL VOICE!!!!! A GOLDEN DEWDROP!

Great to her Mary's and Lynda's distinctive vocals.
"Bad Weather", Deserved To Be A Top Pop Hit"...❤❤❤

The divine Jean genie. Bad Weather should have been massive!
In your eyes it should have been. Obviously the majority of the public thought most of their music was trash. I'd have to agree.
I couldn't agree more.

Thanks Bunches
Tony ❤ For Sharing This 💖💖💖🥰
Sevie produced this song. This was jam.
Best Supremes line-up post Blondie Ballard with very attractive Lynda Lawrence at far left.
Best version of this song

Loved to hear Jean❤❤❤
Love that Bad Weather
Fantastic! I've never seen this full footage. Many thanks!
you're welcome
Lynda and Jean could really sing!!
Bad Weather is still my favorite post Diana Supremes’ song. Lynda was a great replacement, with her Philly Phyne self!
Class.
They looked like they were having a ball. I miss variety shows.
1:16 this was probably the beginning of THE END for The Supremes; Hardly heard Bad Weather on A.M. Really can't blame the Girls!! 💅💅💅
Superb!
Stevie Wonder wrote that song
The lady's earlier in the day were at the May Co on Wishire Blvd promoting there Wig Collection. Had a great time showing how there wigs are to be worn to all the women crowd.
They also had a guy on what's my line promoting their wigs.no he wasn't wearing them
Yes they did lots of them everybody's got the right to love stoned love nathen Jones floy joy,up the ladder to the roof bad whether should have been one of them
She sounds like Diana Ross a little.
She doesn't sound anything like Diana Ross. Syreeta Wright and Tammi Terrell did
Just think a decade earlier this would have been forbidden or did it actually get broadcast the bod touching the ladirs
Did Lynda or Jean ever write books giving their side of the story

Never cared for Bad Wether song

The Supremes never charted another hit after Diana left.
That is a lie and it's a shame how y'all always have to speak negatively on them because that's how you Diana ross Stan's are.
Wrong
You are SOOO WRONG
up the ladder to the roof- is one
Stone love, floy joy, Nathan Jones, Up the ladder to the roof. Songs without Diana Ross that Charted. So you're Wrong.
