We would go YEARS without seeing Mary, but she would remember us! And someone is sure to ask: Mom's first name was Aline (pronounced a lean). Yet people, even family members, would call her Alice, Arlene, Alvin, Aldine, Alpine, Elaine, Elite, Earlene, even ARCHIE one time!! But Mary Wilson knew it EVERY TIME!!! Although she did indeed have a shaky start with the unimpressive (chart-wise) "Reach Out and Touch", she did have come back mega hit with "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" around this same time (early 70s). Both acts, the Supremes (minus Diana) and Diana Ross, did pretty well their first year.
