Prince played bass, electric and acoustic guitar, drums, organ, piano, synthesizer, harmonica and several other instruments mostly percussion. He can get his range up to 6 octaves. Prince is the man. RIP to the GOAT. My favorite artist. I'm so glad I got the chance to see him perform. His shows were legendary. One of the best live performers period. I also visited Paisley Park and it was magical.

@@chica4530 he said in another P reaction video that he was familiar with like 4 songs by Prince: Kiss, She’s Always in My Hair, The Greatest Romance, and I forgot the other one, but I thought what an interesting mix of songs to only know by P especially being from MPLS. But I will give him the benefit of the doubt on this one 😊

He played every instrument under the sun and his voice was an instrument he hit the highest notes ever and scale down to the lowest hitting everything in between. He could make sounds that werent real notes but more animalistic that nooneelse can hit. Like his music or not, No One puts on a better live.concert then Prince, everynight he changed songs, instruments, etc. He is and always will be the GOAT

He has a wider vocal range the MJ, he plays so many different styles of music and his first albums he played all the instruments. he is more creative and his halftime show is referred to as the night they played football at a prince concert and, unlike MJ, the dude was more than comfortable in his own skin.

Rolling Stone has him at #16 of the 200 best singers of all time.
As they said: "There’s no choir quite like a choir of Princes. Play “Adore,” the heavenly climax of 1987’s Sign o’ the Times, and bask in that plush assemblage of overdubbed voices, in multiple registers, assembled with audible glee by the guy who also sings lead and plays most of the instruments."

Prince played more than 20 instruments, & he played them all very well! His earlier albums he played every single instrument on the album, wrote all the songs, produced the album, had a world class voice & could dance his ass off. He also wrote huge hits for other big artists. He had no weaknesses as an artist/performer. Glad you're checking him out!

Prince is my favorite artists man & he was a true Gemini. Prince had at least 7 different voices, i've tested this theory too. One time i played 4 Prince songs on a car ride for my friend who only knew his hits. I played "when we're dancing close and slow" "Gett off" "Dreamer" & "The most beautiful girl in the world" She had no clue that those 4 songs were from the same singer...Prince. She literally thought they were all different artists lol. She was so shocked that she forced me to prove it to her by showing her my spotify playlist. He was amazing vocalist, a great rapper, lyricist, mult instrumentalist & could also dance his butt off. Would love to see you react to his best dance breaks. Love your reaction dude & i see your poster back there. RIP Akira Toriyama.

So happy that you came across this compilation and decided to check it out. He is the best to ever do it. He wrote, produced, played every instrument, and sang every note on many of his songs. Plus, he was an amazing performer as you could see from that video. I have lots of recommended live performances for you… Purple Rain (the version from the Syracuse show in the Purple Rain tour is epic. 1985 American Music Awards is also amazing and was in that compilation), Piano Medley from the Lovesexy Tour, anything from the Glam Slam show (Nothing Compares 2 U and Thieves in the Temple/It are my faves), live version of America (super funky and he plays guitar and drums), Pass the Peas with Maceo Parker (I added this since you’re an artist. P plays guitar and bass and it’s amazing), Shhh (from Detroit show on Musicology tour), Motherless Child (amazing and emotional vocals and guitar solos and he’s conducting the band throughout. It’s super cool). I’ll stop there, but I could go on and on. Really looking forward to more Prince. I love watching people’s introductions to him. It reminds me of the first time I heard all of his songs 💜💜💜

My aunt was a huge Prince fan & introduced me to his music at a very young & tender age when my "virgin ears" were just not quite ready for songs like "Darling Nicky" & "Erotic City"😅. However, all of his classic hits soon became some of my favorites. Like "Little Red Corvette", "Raspberry Beret", "When Doves Cry", "Purple Rain", "1999", "Let's go Crazy", "Kiss", "U got the look"...I also really like "Seven" even though it's not really recognized as one of his "hits" I don't think.
