The thing I like about this game making it feel like a Gameboy is a PET is something from the anime. In the episode that Lan goes to help Princess Pride, one of the security ladies has a PET that looks like a Gameboy so without buttons.

Dude, you're such an entertaining RUclipsr! I'm barely getting into Battle Network and just seeing you talk about its many collectable toys, games, etc. just encourage me to play more of it. I wish Capcom could've kept the NT Warrior series up on YT, I miss watching some Saturday morning cartoons haha

I loved Network Transmission because it gave us another view of EXE of side scrolling battles remixed stages of classic of 1980s Mega Man as well as the music. Still play it to this day.

I believe there's even a patch for 4.5 that makes it to where you can directly control your navi and stuff like in the mainline games.

It's still worth trying in my opinion, it's not like an idle game,
player interaction is still required even for some tougher virus fights, but yes, your control will be limited.

"Lost"? No, 4.5 was never a Lost Game, it was a somewhat well known JP only game, the Lost Games were Legend of Network and Phantom of Network, the flipphone games that recently got fan translations
Or maybe EXE WS, thats niche enough to maybe merit the phrase
