Yes Henry, but, and this is a very big but. You need to consider things like broken threads, running out of bobbin etc. You have a problem with one machine on a 6 head machine, all the machines stop while you fix the problem. Same is true for the two head. The multi function two head will allow you to keep the needle going up and down while you fix the issue.
Man I wanted to finance/purchase a machine from Ricoma, i was using one of there customers link to do so, and Henry Ma himself sent me an email, and also someone even called me, but when i called them back and left a message no one NEVER called me back, so i ended up going thru another company getting financed for a SWF MAS-12. I really wanted to purchase one of there Machine, but i guess they are to busy to work with me because i'm in Anchorage Alaska.

Hey guys! old video I know, but I have a question about my MT-2002 8S. I would like to have the ability to test designs on 1 embroidery head before scaling to both (this would reduce the cost of my testing). Is there a way to disable one of the heads OR do something tricky with the thread to make one of them think they are embroidering something? I have seen a Ricoma TV video where the guy was only using 1 head of a 12 head machine, and he did something tricky with the thread, he just didn't explain what. Sorry for the long question, but I cannot find a resource here.
Ooh my goodness.... This was the next point in the video LOL! I just had not got there yet. If that convenient little switch is on my machine I will be so salty! LOL! I just hadn't found it yet.

So can 2 single heads, which is one of the important points of the video
This might be the greatest RUclips comment of all time. Like, of ALL time.

The switch in this video is not on my machine.
Hi Peter! This is a switch that is located in front of your machine. It's located by where the light blinks "green".
Great information
Thanks! Now you know!
