😮 Bro, this is why I rewatch you. The last time I watched it did not notice about the placement Tool that goes back to where you first started having issues.
Been embordering for over 20 plus years and working on designs or names (around a 1000pc a year) You have to train your self to do work upside down or inverted. Sometimes its the only way. A lot of my transfer designs I do/did inverted. Just seems to be easier alignment and centering. Once you do it a few hundred times you get comfortable.
I can't wait to watch more of your videos. First video and you have already answered 2 of my issues that I can't even get our service men to bring up. Legend. Love the needle timing. Never knew
I want to thank you for all the knowledge you are putting out there for everyone. Your videos are always so clear and helpful. I am just getting into embroidering and your videos are invaluable with how and why you do the things you do. So I would like to thank you from those that are like me and just getting going and searching for tips on how to make things better. Watching your brand grow really is a joy and inspiration to watch. I hope you continue to shoot for the stars.
Thank you for the information. My machine is on the way and this was very informative as hats, and hoodies are going to be what I will mainly be doing.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for your videos! Never knew about the button for going back to the spot where embroidery ended. I have accidentally hit the moving buttons. Can't wait to try it! love your honest videos!
🙌🏾😃. My pleasure Michele. Love when someone gets some good useful information out of the video. Going live today adjusting tension on my machine showing how I get my machine to run so good. Stay tuned.
You came a long way! I want to start my soon. Get my 1st ricoma and get a heat press and printer for transferring images on t shirts and hoodies. What printer and heat press do I need?
Thank you. This was good knowledge......I am about to buy the MT-1501....other videos say to go ahead and buy the 1502 so you can grow into it. What is your opinion?
Helpful video. Do you mind doing an actual video on tip #3 using a cap. I am a visual learner. Thank you in advance. Thank you for your knowledge. All tips were helpful.
I came across your videos by mistake I never ever thought about embroidering or own a machine I've been watching all your videos and I bought one today the 1501
Thank you, thank you, thank you for this wonderful video. My trainer didn't even know what that button was for. I so needed to know this about the needle relocation and then the hat issue. Wow! you have helped me so much! Please keep the videos coming. Have a Blessed journey!
Great tips!! Thank you so much! I am fairly new to Ricoma and these tips are very helpful. I wish I would have discovered you before I purchased my machine and went through your link for purchase. I have learned so much from you. Thank you!!
Hi Alan, another great video. I am having a little trouble and I am waiting for a response from Ricoma. I just thought that you might have the answer. I embroidered some left panel caps (Richardsons 112). Now I am trying to embroider full panel design on caps and my cap driver keeps going to the left. I can not have it centered on my cap. Any idea what may be causing this?
Hey Allan, can you recommend an embroidery machine just for logo and name (5x7in size) on left chest? We are going to open our uniform buss soon. Thank you!
That is very helpful something I learned I do have one question I have a problem with one needle not stitching at all I have rebooted it I have reset it I have diarrassing anything I can but this needle will not stitch any suggestions
THANK YOU, thank you, you have made my life so much better with this information. I wish someone had shared that with me when I first did a cap in class. You have given me hope because I had lost it. Thank you so You have given me hope because I had lost it. Thank you so much.very much.
Hello Allan thank you for the videos! I purchased an MT 2001 8S and I've never used a commercial machine before. Wanted to know if you did consulting? If so I would be interested in getting you to help me get started and acclimated with my machine. I always used a 10 needle baby lock for the last 7 years wanted to step my opportunities up a bit and prepare for expansion. So I hope to hear from you Thanks for your time and all of the resources you help with. Don.
Appreciate the game. With the hats, will that tip work on the EM-1010 knowing I would have to take the front face off? I know the EM-1010 is not the best when it comes to hats.but I have to make due with what I have. Thanks again.
Thank you for this video. Question about lowering the foot... My machine doesn't show 180 degrees it says 172... and does lowering it for caps affect other garments? I'm assuming the only time you would want more clearance is for puff? which I don't care to get into?
Hey Allen. You stated in one of your videos regarding how to back up stitches but I can’t find it. If your thread breaks, and you want to reverse your position of when it stops stitching. (I hope that makes sense) SWD. THANKS IN ADVANCE
Yes. Hit the bottom on the screen next to the Lock icon. Put it on F.L float low. Or F.H float high. When it’s in either mode you can rewind using the stop button or fast forward using the start button. You can see on the screen where you are in the design. Once you corrected what was wrong or went back to the point you want flick the toggle switch on the head ( that tells it to start right away.) then hit that button next to the lock a few more times so it goes back into embroidery mode (it will probably say waiting or something like that. ) then press start again. I’ll make a video on that this weekend.
Hello, love the tps. I saw that someone else asked if you can leave the foot lowered when you are doing flats but I didn't see a reply. Maybe I missed it but could you please answer that question for me.
New to embroidery with my first Ricoma RCM-1501TC-7S. I am struggling with cap embroidery. Constant thread breaks. Hoping you can possibly give some assistance.
hello allan--love your videos! question for you: once you lower your needles for hats specifically, do you have to raise them again to do flats? same question with lowering the cap driver. thank you so much! blessings to you!
I'm trying to join the embroidery world. I have the opportunity to buy a used MT 1501. Do you think it's a good idea to buy a use machine vs. a new machine without any training?
Yes I am. By the way, if you use my affiliate link when making your purchase you get a free 1 hour FaceTime with me. Ricoma MACHINE Link ricoma.com/US/referral/allan-wade
awesome video thank you. Couple questions for you, what is the bobbin tension your have on your MT-1502 and do you run your pressure foot that low on a Richardson 112 hat?
I'm very interested in purchasing ricoma I do have ? How loud is it I have a 2nd room ill be working from in mean time & it's an apt for this year ill be working their.till I get I get hse & I'm interested in your classes & more info on this machine
If noise is an issue just wait till you move. You wont get to run it people below you will complain. It’s loud enough. It would most likely be an issue.
I got a question hopefully you can answer it. When I get the T break I fix it and when I press start, the foot doesn't go down. The machine acts like it does when it is embroidering but the foot doesn't go down. Whenever I change my bobbin or redo a thread it never continues. I have to either start from scratch again or do a perimeter scan.
Thanks!
My pleasure. I appreciate the donation. 🙏🏾 Thank you.
😮 Bro, this is why I rewatch you. The last time I watched it did not notice about the placement Tool that goes back to where you first started having issues.
Number two tip is one i for sure didnt know thanks. We all are always learning keep it up and feel better.
OMG #3 is fire too!

Wow. Congratulations on you machine. That’s insane. I hope you used my link. Lol
Great tips, my favorite was #3 I've been having a lot of issues on hats and I'm excited to make this change to my machine.
My hats don’t flap anymore at all and registration will be 99% better after you make the adjustment. Idk why they don’t just come like this.
Subscribed thank you for this info. I’m looking to purchase a new embroidery machine and this helps a lot
Thank you, thank you, thank you for this wonderful video. My trainer didn't even know what that button was for. I so needed to know this about the needle relocation and then the hat issue. Wow! you have helped me so much! Please keep the videos coming. Have a Blessed journey!

I have yet to do large hoodies and that's a great tip about the small neck holes. Great advice!
Thank Kayla. I ruined a few hoodies and made a few designs smaller till I figured it out.
A-Dubb,
I'd like to see a set-up video and utilizing the laser for the first time
Hey Allan, can you recommend an embroidery machine just for logo and name (5x7in size) on left chest? We are going to open our uniform buss soon. Thank you!
Thanks for the tips! I am new and trying to master my Ricoma
Hang in there when you get it down it’s a money printer.
That is very helpful something I learned I do have one question I have a problem with one needle not stitching at all I have rebooted it I have reset it I have diarrassing anything I can but this needle will not stitch any suggestions
If it’s not embroidering at all the needle is in backwards.

Hello, love the tps. I saw that someone else asked if you can leave the foot lowered when you are doing flats but I didn't see a reply. Maybe I missed it but could you please answer that question for me.
Yes. I adjusted the foot and leave it that way for everything.
Hey Allan, good to see you back at it!
Thank you.
Thank you for the tips. Got question for you I hoped you don' t mind. How you get your small spool to go all the way down on thread spool.
Take the plastic piece off and it will sit flat on the machine
New to embroidery with my first Ricoma RCM-1501TC-7S. I am struggling with cap embroidery. Constant thread breaks. Hoping you can possibly give some assistance.
Sure. You can schedule a consultation at Adubbproductions.com I’ll help you set everything up and get it running smooth.

Great tips
Are you located near Philadelphia??
Seeing if I can use your link or give credit for the machine I purchased waiting on delivery.
You have to use my link and put in an inquiry. It might not be to late. I’m not sure. Or just call your sales rep and let them know.
Thanks for the demonstration
No problem. Thanks Deborah.

Thank you so much for the tips by far this will help
Great info! Thanks!😊
This was really helpful!! Definitely using these tips.
awesome video thank you. Couple questions for you, what is the bobbin tension your have on your MT-1502 and do you run your pressure foot that low on a Richardson 112 hat?
Thank you very much for that info
Do you or have you ever used the sash table for the 1501 TC- I can not get my hoops to center back up
Thank you for those tips!
Along with the pressure foot you also have to lower the cap driver.
Yes. They can try that as well. I’ve heard of the lowering the cap driver but have yet to adjusted mine, still embroidering like a champ.
thanks for the tips!! do you have any videos on how to use purchased fonts with the ricoma em1010?
Thanks. I guarantee the shirt thing would have tripped me up.
great information thank you i appreciate the tips n tricks
Very helpful!
Thank you.
A great video thank you!
My pleasure. Glad you liked it.
When you adjust the foot is it only for hats or all type of materials?
I’ve never put it back. Just adjusted it and left it like that for everything.
Thank you for the information 😊
You are welcome.
I have a ricoma 1502 and are having problems embroidering flat bill hats. The hat bills hits the bottom plate and I get needle breaks.
Good Tips! Much thanks....
Glad to help.
Cap tip thank thank you!
Great tips! Thank you.
No problem. You’re welcome.
Whew just saved a sweatshirt…great tips
Thank you. 🙏🏾
Do you have a video on a ‘no needle’ error? If not can you post one?
Yes. I’ll make it tomorrow. Pretty much all you have to do is turn the red dial on the side till a needle is appears on the screen where it says 0.
whats the difference between the tc-1501 & MT-1501?
Thank you sooooo much this is a game changer Thank you for sharing
No problem Lucy. Always glad to help.

Flick the switch next to the flashing light and it starts right away. Flick it up. I would rewind it a little to avoid gaps.
Can you just embroider them all upside down? All sizes?
Awesome job! Thank you!
Allen, The last tip about adjusting the foot, do you know if that is possible to do on the EM-1010?
Yes but you would have to take off the entire face plate. A lot more of a pain in the butt cause all the threads come out etc.
Awesome information, thanks!
No problem.
WOW thanks for the tips
No problem.
will this work on the EM 1010 also
