Between you and Romero Threads, you both have the best detailed content when it comes to operating and maintaining the machine. I don’t have the same machine, but you broke it down so that anyone could follow. Thanks for the video because now machine needs to be tuned again.
I met you at Deco Summit and you gave me tips on tension. This is what I struggle with as I am new to embroidery. You are a great teacher! Now that I’m watching you I’m understanding it! I could cry because now that I’m watching this it makes more sense. Thank you!!!
Thank you finally someone answered my question about which adjustment was coarse and which was fine. This will clean up my work. Even though I have a TC 1501
Thank you so much I have learned so much about this tension. I just got my Ricoma 1501 TC had a few issues with loose top thread and now I think I can make the minor adjustment to solve it Please keep it up with the great content. Thanks again
Thank you very much! I have an EM-1010 for 2years, and you teach super. I learned something today. I’m not an expert on my Ricoma jet, but I’m continuing watching you to learn more 🙋🏻♀️
i havent got my machine yet but you are showing me quite alot off very helpful information, yes this is very different from my industrial sewing machines but in some ways similar with the tensions
Thanks so much for your information. Sometime I struggle with that on my RICOMA. I appreciate your information Keep Grinding I have Journeyed with you before you opened up your shop. SO PROUD and thanks again for all your GEMS you drop!!!!! Keep INSPIRING
Wow I am been an embroidery sewer for 25 years..I learn one trick from you by doing hats. Ricoma emb. machine looks very complicated for threading and adjusting the tensions. Maybe you like it. Barudan is use friendly for threading. Both machines sewing are equal good quality.
on my tension test, similar to what i'm seeing at 12:38, as you can see the two colors on each side with white in the middle, my color on the right is a tad bit thicker and left is a tad bit thinner than shown in this vid. why aren't both sides of color even or the same thickness?
Having problems with my TC-1501 about a week ago it jamed breaking the needle and I couldn’t place the machine back on 100. Since then I got it running again but now every couple of stitches it’s stopped alerting it of a thread break frustrated . I’ve played with the upper tension nothing I do confused I had to look up videos . tension is too lose or too tight either way I feel like I can’t do anything to help the machine to run like before the jam . Reached out to Ricoma they just keep sending videos on tension but I’m lost and don’t have a clue of which way to go . Found your video hope this helps . Thank you.
Loved how you explained this and I just learned something new about the plastic things on the thread spools and what they sit on didn’t know they could be removed so happy I watched your video.
I have a question, I was able to set all my tension correctly. However, I had to use a 60 weight thread on the small lettering on a left chest logo and the tread keeps coming out of the needle. Whether I loosen it or tighten the knobs it comes out. Any suggestions?
Any reason it says no needle error on Ricoma MT-1501. A person on Facebook explained to move red knob on side of machine until a number appears. I did turn on the machine, and it just acts like the needle moves, but the needle stays in place, not threading. Thank you in advance
What if the back is mostly white but wave white bobbin . I can’t get the straight clean line in the back. It’s a wave. Can’t find anyone with this issue. I have a brother pe1900.
HI! I'm strting follow you!, I have 1501 mt and the needle #14 I can't make sew, and probably 15 too, ( I brought the machine used, and i'm newbie, probably for that reason they saled), Thank an advanced if you help me!!

The little plastic things under the thread that you take off is to hold large thread spools that have large inside holes in place.
This was such a great video, I'm so happy that I found it. You did such a great job at explaining everything thank you

This is a tough one bc you don't know what they did to those tow needles to keep it from working.
If thread snaps do I loosen the top tension?
Yes. Its then to tight
I’m doing caps , what material can I use to run test ?
An old cap. You can run a trst on something flat but you wong get the same outcome on a hat
