Hi ! I’m using a ricoma EM1010, every time I wanted to embroid small letters the result is horrible !! Just need to know where I can buy thin stitches please ? I can’t find them anywhere Thanks
first of all I love you all! thank you very much for all these tutorials and videos. I am new to the EM 1010 and I would like to ask you a question: the tension of the threads has been adjusted by the technicians with Poly 40 and 75/11 needles. if I change the thread to Poly 60 and the needle to 60/8, do I have to re-adjust the tension or do I leave the "factory" setting? thank you for your reply

For some reason, so matter what I do I cannot get my MT-1502 to embroider that low on caps. The bottom of the logo is always over and inch from the brim. When I try and go lower I get "y-axis error". It's quite annoying.
When digitizing a logo for a ball cap, do you set the design down to size for cap? I am trying to digitize a logo for a ball cap and I know that it has to be a certain size. And, I am doing a sample on the 100x100 hoop and making jpeg down to 2.25 x 2.5. Am I doing it correct?

This digitizing may work but is not recommended at all. Make sure it starts center bottom and goes outward in each direction. The digitizing shouldn’t go side to side. Make sure to use a good software like Wilcom for digitizing.
We use our own software chroma for digitizing. As long as it works for you, there are lots of techniques out there everyone can try, this is what works for us!
Profit potential: This cap costs $5 and the materials including the foam, thread and needles add up to about $1. Cost per cap = $6 Caps like these are sold online for around $30, meaning you can make a profit of around $25 per cap. Ricoma machine = $10,000 = 400 caps to break even....ugh.
