Hello. I watched all your videos, you do a brilliant job. I start to do as well embroidery but didn’t find a good digitiser. You can recommend me someone or you do digitise? Thank you Gabriel

Can you make a video embroidering an extra small child’s ball cap? Hooping and best digitizing size. I tried one and it embroiders too high. Do 8 I need to change parameter size?
Hi there! That's a great suggestion and we will be sure to pass it along. In the meantime, have you checked out this other tutorial we did? --->ruclips.net/video/kW4LfHoHh10/видео.html
Hi Lillian! You have to use the cap hoop, you just have to adjust the parameters. You also need to remove the wings, in order to use the Gen2 effectively, otherwise, the Gen 2 will hang on these wings.
Hi! If you're using a Gen 2 hoop and find that the normal cap hoop selection still positions the design too high on the brim, you may need to adjust your hoop settings.
Hi! We mostly see 40-weight polyester or rayon thread being used with caps, it totally depends. On the other hand, we see 75/11 needles being used but it depends on the design or cap you are using.
I just bought the Gen 2 and was SUPER excited about it, but I can't get closer to the brim of the hat than about 0.85"/21mm away. I can get closer with the cap rings my machine came with. I have the 2021 Ricoma MT 1501. I'm pushing the design all the way down in the embroidery field on the machine. What can I do to make the design closer to the brim? Thanks for the help!
Hey and thank you for your information, is there any difference with the Gen 2 or should I just save my money and stick with the cap ring that came with my 1502? Thank you 😀
I was told the Gen 2 does not work on the EM-1010. Why does that machine not have the same option. I dont prefer the cap driver they are so hard to hoop onto the machine and the stitching is up too high on the cap
Due to the size of the Gen 2, it is not compatible with the EM-1010. Sorry for the inconvenience. but we do have lots of videos that will help with embroidering on caps with the em -1010 ruclips.net/video/tWNFly1C2OM/видео.html&t
We used the HoopTech GEN 2 Package which you can hoop almost every type of cap with this frame, including strapbacks, Richardson caps, flexfits, structured, unstructured, visors, and many more.

Hi Willie, When using the Gen2 cap frame do you use CAP for the frame choice on mt1501? Or do you use OTHER?
Hi Lillian! You have to use the cap hoop, you just have to adjust the parameters. You also need to remove the wings, in order to use the Gen2 effectively, otherwise, the Gen 2 will hang on these wings.
@@ricomatv Not sure what you mean by the wings.

What is the device you were using to hoop the caps? The one that was mounted onto your shelf?
that is the cap frame that comes with the machines, you can mount it on any work table you'd like.
I have a Gen 2 hoop. So I need to select a different hoop setting to get low on the brim? It is still too high with the normal cap hoop selection.
Hi! If you're using a Gen 2 hoop and find that the normal cap hoop selection still positions the design too high on the brim, you may need to adjust your hoop settings.
what size thread and needles do you use to do the caps

Will this round hoop work on a Janome mb-7 machine???
Hi there, these hoops come with our Ricoma machines, you would have to check the sizes that can fit your Janome.

Can the fast frame embroider on the sides
Hi! Are you referring to the 8 in 1?
Can you embroider the brim of the caps?
The only way to embroider the brim of a cap is to embroider the fabric before the cap is contracted. Thanks for watching!

Does the gen2 cap clamp work on the brother prs100 embroidery machine?
It should, I would check the measurements for the embroidery machine to be sure.
How do you keep the needle from breaking in the middle seam? Also what speeds is the best. Ty

For the Gen 2 you didn't use tearaway stabilizer and you didn't brought out the sweatband, isn't necessary?
Hi there, since he was embroidering on a structured cap with the gen 2, you do not need stabilizer on very structured caps.
Can you gen 2 with baby lock?
Hi Jennifer, you might be able to depending the measurements.
When using sticky stabilizer, you should place the sticky side up so the cap has something to hold on to.
Hoop the piece of tear away sticky back stabilizer with the shiny side up.
Correct, sticky side facing the garment unlike what is shown at 8:17
