Thank you excellent video, one of the best embroidery videos that I’ve seen, I like the fact that you show everything from start to finish and share your products
Thank you for this video you made it look like a breeze my ricoma embriodery machine has been sitting there for like 3 months and you made me feel more confident to try again.
EXACTLY what I needed brother..I'm getting ready to FINALLY get my training knocked out for my MT-1501. Question I have is when you send it to a digitizer do you need to tell them it will be 3-D Puff? Appreciate the knowledge..Keep Crushing It!! Stay HUMBLE, Stay HUNGRY, Stay FOCUSED...~The Jarhead Entrepreneur
yes. tell your digitizer what you plan on stitching on (hat, shirt, bag etc) also tell'em what kind of hat (5 panel, 6 panel, structured etc) and tell them you want 3D Puff embroidery.
Great Video Brandoh. I want to start my own hats embroidery business. I would like to buy the same machine. My only concern is the design and what file ir required and typical dimensions.
ive only been doing my own hats for like 2 years. i used to outsource it before. having a single head machine is the best for limited runs. alot of my money comes from doing small runs because most big shops with bigger machines have high minimums. so i can charge higher premium for doing less hats.,
Hello! Do find that the 80/12 needles work better than the 75/11 needles, and why? Is it worth my time to try and get these structured hats to run with 75/11 or am I just gonna keep wasting needles? Appreciate you!
I've had massive problems with my hat embroidery recently. I've been using Decky hats style 6020 with 90\14 needles. I've broken 5 needles on 2 hats in the exact same part of the design as it crosses the seam. Any advice? Also really wondering how common are needle breaks especially on structured hats?
yea you need a digitizing software. you can use chroma lux (thats the one i got with my Ricoma) or you can just outsource the digitizing. just google "digitizing services" a bunch of sites will pop up for you to use
We have been trying to do hats but the needle always breaks at a certain point once the hoop turns a certain way! Have you had this type of issue before?
i was a beginner with zero experience also. this machine wasnt hard to learn. the training that Ricoma gives you is easy and straight forward. the training is meant to get you up and running.
I have the em 1010. When I stitch a hat it hits the bill. How can I prevent the bill from hitting the machine? When the bill hits it. It move the hat and the stitching moves.
thanks for reaching out but im not taking in any new clients at the moment. i got a full plate. i do recommend going with a local embroidery shop to you. so you can check proof samples in person. so that way you know whats going on
i google all my digitizers. google search "digitizing services" and every company on the first page i use. all competitively priced. depends on design, complexity and needs. so all designs are different. for this simple one i got quotes from the first 2 on google.
@@BigBrandoh you are the man! Thank you so much for everything! I have been following you for sometime now and you have helped me so much begin the journey I am on! Mad love for ya brotha!
about $15k. depends if you finance or buy it cash. also depends on what you qualify for if you finance. i will tell you this, i got my machine i think 2 years ago in june/july and the amount of work that came in once i got it, i was able to pay the machine off before the year was over. less than 6 months. i have a pricing break down on my channel to help understand better. but if you have never out sourced embroidery work, i recommend start there. just to make sure you have clients who are interested in this service before you buy a machine.
Hey man! I want to get some hats made for my Channel/ Side Business. Are you taking orders? I like the Yupoong Classic, and Just want some simple text "Sean Lewis Media"... Great video. I guess no more struggle to add the stabilizer in. Looks like it is working without stabilizer.

Could you share with us the most reliable heat transfer vinyl you currently use and the cut settings for it with the cameo?
check the econo link in the description. i cut all htv on my cameo using the "heat transfer smooth" preset
Will those same needles and thread work for non stuctured hats? Thanks for answering questions.
yes.
@@BigBrandoh Thanks brother for taking the time and teaching us all. I have my Ricoma 20 needle I am learning to use with the Chromaluxe software
Great video, what do you mean by its a structure hat so you don't use stabalizer?
Do you have the software to digitize your own designs? Or do you send it out? Thanks for the video
yes i have chroma digitizing software but i havent mastered it yet. its easier for me to send my digitizing out
Been waiting for another tutorial like this from you Big Brandoh💪🏾🔥💪🏾🔥💪🏾🔥FYI I have the em-1010
