    You can use puff foam on clothing and knit hats. It washes and drys well. I trim my threads crossing over the foam before I pull it off. It helps with the foam rip off.

    This OG locally keeps telling me money is in the polos and garments. So close to getting that Ricoma. Hey Brandoh, can these machines be tweaked? Like upgrade the motor and parts.

    • @BigBrandoh
      @BigBrandoh  Год назад +1

      i dont know anything about tweaking the machines, i personally would hate to mess something up and then my whole machine is down and if the machine aint running i aint making money. only thing i change on that machine is the needles and thread hahahaaa

    • @bleach8672
      @bleach8672 Год назад

      Polos and hats is where a lot of people generally make money but you just have to find your niche. As for your question, Ricoma machines aren’t really upgradable. You can change the needles to suit the material you’re going to stitch on to but no real part changing.

    Who does your digitizing?

    • @BigBrandoh
      @BigBrandoh  Год назад +1

      i either use a local kid or google search digitizing services. then i go based on price and turn around time. ive tried most companies on the first page and all have been solid. check'em out

    • @SevenBunnyBrand
      @SevenBunnyBrand Год назад +1

      Is digitizing really that hard that one can not do it? I want to be able to make caps on demand so having someone digitize, I suppose at $30 an image that would be a costly hobby for myself not to mention having to wait for it to get it digitized.

    • @BigBrandoh
      @BigBrandoh  Год назад +1

      not sure how hard it is to learn but once i got this machine i have no time to sit down and try to learn it. the machine runs non stop. so out sourcing my digitizing makes more sense for me cuz i cant stop production to try and digitize stuff. im sure you can learn it. but also $30 is what you charge your customer, most digitizers only charge $5-$15 depending on complexity and most turn around the same day or next day. it sounds fake and exaggerated but this machine its always running. if its not running im not making money. its to the point where i cant even take in more work cuz my current clients keep that machine going on their own.

    Bro can do a video bout digitizing

    • @BigBrandoh
      @BigBrandoh  Год назад

      i probably wont cuz im not good at digitizing. im better at outsourcing and letting a professional do it for me hahaha. i just google "digitize services" and the first 10-12 companys that pop up are the ones i use hahaha. different pricing and different turn around times. but all solid in mu opinion

    I loved this video and watching the process!
    Question: when you were weeding out the excess foam, could you just lay a piece of tape over it to snag up the little pieces? Just curious, I think it would really amp up production!

    • @BigBrandoh
      @BigBrandoh  Год назад +2

      really good idea. but the foam is stitched in pretty good. so it takes a little force and finesse to get it out of the tight areas. also the tape would also get stuck to the thread as well.

    Brandoh, set up shop with heat press nation and Ricoma. I got the MT2001-8S based on ur review. They’re customer service on point. Tips on tension setting? I’ve been trial by fire but need to zone in a bit more. You still sending out on digitizing?

    • @BigBrandoh
      @BigBrandoh  Год назад

      for tension i just do the "i test" and adjust as needed. for digitizing i still use sites off google for digitizing. i've used just about every company on the first page when you google "digitizing services" all have been solid so far
