      as someone from England I don't really like the learnt dialect (which most people where I'm from have) but anyone with a different English dialect I like. also I really like Irish, Scottish n Welsh. most accents other than the taught english accent and a couple American accents, will give me asmr. However ofc there are always exceptions.

Then I always have to sift through the ready made asmr since some artists are just too much. If you haven't already, you should peep asmr blooper vids. The newspaper, the tape fumbling, the ARTLESSNESS is what makes the very best ASMR. It has to be unintentional to work, that's part of the phenomenon. When they're hamming it up with lots of tapping and effort and breaking the fourth wall to ask how you're doing, you just get annoyed. But I can watch the first 6 minutes of this one over and over. And I do.

    • @controversialist01

      I agree, ASMR works best as a byproduct of someone's aura, their gentle demeaner and soft approach to problem solving is the magic recipe. There's nothing more cringe than that post modern wave of ASMR attention seekers and freaks that hijacked the movement and made it centre around themselves either making it too sexually orientated or trying to hard to contrive ASMR triggers with their weirdness.

    "Take it off of the hanger. No more hanger for this." Lol😂 omg too funny the way she says it all calm. I love this. And I love unintentional asmr, it's like those real life asmr moments. I remember growing up having that tingly feeling in my sides of my face and head and loving when my dad or this one friends mother talked like this(really anyone but those 2 always did it) and would read the newspaper or do paperwork or flip through a book. My dad would always flip through like a book or the weekly circular and he would kinda read it to himself suuuuper quietly like almost a mumble and it would always make me get that asmr tingley feeling but I had no idea what it was and never mentioned it cause I thought no one would know what i was talking about and just think I'm weird lol. Then i saw thisboke lady on conan o brien talking about her asmr channel and he had never heard of it either and it was the beginning of starting to talk about asmr i guess and when i heard it i shouted to my mom "omg thats the thing! That's happened to me my whole life sometimes!" I was so excited to finally have a name for it and know I was not alone. Love this video. So relaxing.

    Newspaper ink transfers onto things. White tssue paper used for gifts would be much better. I do love her accent and voice though.

    • @KainYusanagi
      @KainYusanagi 5 лет назад +33

      She refers to a $140 sari (10,000 rupees) as being VERY expensive, so newspaper is the economical solution. It's also a rather durable paper blend, so it won't tear easily at all thanks to the decorations, either, unlike tissue paper. Something to protect the fabric from the ink, though, as an interstitial layer, or somehow removing that excess ink that transfers from the print so easily, would be a good idea.

    • @c3cubed

      Exactly! Glad I'm not the only one that knows this.

    • @c3cubed
      @c3cubed 5 лет назад +21

      @Talari Anderson A problem in a humid environment - which is the reason stated for using the newspaper (like a wicking mechanism) in the first place. This is Not a safe idea long-term for fine fabrics, especially cotton or silk. Many textiles have finishes with ingredients that can react and catalyze the leaching of inks and/or dyes, especially those that are difficult to permanently set - like most all shades of red and crimson.

    • @KainYusanagi
      @KainYusanagi 5 лет назад +7

      @Talari Anderson Take some modelling clay (which is dry), press it into newsprint, pull it away. Ink comes away with it.

    • @rainsofhealing
