    Does anyone else just love the sound of Maria’s younger voice? It’s so cute and melodic and I always find myself coming back to these to listen to it.

      Yes! I can never quite put my finger on what’s different about it, but melodic is a nice description 🙂

      Me too, it is a superb example of ASMR. The female voice seems to be the best to really qualify for this marvellous stimulus. There must be many other young ones out there who could achieve this, I hope they model themselves on Maria’s style of presentation.

    The crisp hard "t's", "p's", etc.; these are the things that are ALWAYS so lovely for my brain! As are the unique variations in inflection, and the breaths in between words and sentences!
    This was also the first video with tappy/scratchy sounds (the embellishments on the jean pockets) that brought me to really enjoy such noises. These old school videos remain FAVOURITES ☺

    • @KiRa-fy6uq
      @KiRa-fy6uq 3 месяца назад +4

      Same, you hit the nail on the head. Plus the old microphone sounds nice and the uncertainty in what she says sometimes is also comforting. She gets quieter when she seems unsure of what to say but I really enjoy that humanness ❤
      Her voice was so light and positive, I love the old videos too and I pray she never gets rid of them❤

    • @mindyfrostbitten
      @mindyfrostbitten 3 месяца назад

      @@KiRa-fy6uq Yes, I like "unscripted" feeling videos, and the different sound quality of older microphones - odd isn't it! You'd think it would be the other way around (like newer = better); not always the case.

If I'm in a store and I see a clerk slowly folding and gently adding the folded clothes to a shelf and smoothing them out, I hide nearby so it doesn't look obvious that I'm watching and just am mesmerized as they do it....now there's a video!! Up until a couple weeks ago, I thought I was the only person who experienced calming vibes and tingles from certain people based on their voice and mannerisms. Turns out I'm not! I was surprised when I typed in "soft spoken" in the search box and found an entire section of RUclips devoted to AMSR. My triggers are voices and hand movements. It's very hard to find people in everyday life who fulfill these triggers so I'd like to thank Maria and the other AMSR vloggers here who supply us junkies with our fix!

    I have no clue how I never noticed it before, but the clicking sounds of nails against the rhinestones on the pockets was really powerful. It gave me tingles across the sides of my neck (like by my jugulars), which has never happened to me before. The color matching between the nail polish and the pocket decorations intensified it, I think. Generally I don't like tapping sounds because I find them more anxiety-inducing than tingly, but I could listen to that gentle clicking for an hour. Absolutely wonderful.

    From now on, when storing sweatshirts during the summer, I'm stuffing them in the hoods. BRILLIANT! They'll never unfold in the tote! 👍
    The jeans thing, folding in the corner... yep, that's going to solve the "Just fit in the drawer, dang it!" issue. WIN!
    Just had to go back a few times... *zoooone out*. 😁

    Wow, Maria! I finally got around to watching this video, after reading about how popular it was with other ASMRtists. I've been folding clothes for many years, but I have to admit, your methods of folding underpants and college style sweatshirt folding were utterly fascinating and brilliant! Wish I had seen this years ago! LOL!
    Also, this video is one of the very few that have given me tingles based on visuals....the sweatshirt segment was absolutely amazing. For a brief few minutes, I found myself wishing to be a hoodie. Haha! Super work, and thank you so much for all you do! :)

    Thank you. I don't know what's happening to me while these videos are playing but I feel like I can finally focus for the first time in forever. I'm really confused by this but I'm trying to forget about those feelings and get lost in the narration. It's like the feeling when my favorite music plays, velcro slowly ripping, a rhodes electric piano, this is crazy. Just thanks
