- Hello everybody this is another of my tutorial type relaxation videos. :) In this video I will show you a few different ways of wearing scarfs. I decided to do my movements more natural rather then extra slow in this video so I hope you will still enjoy it :)

Omg it's 2024 and i am still here for this video. Such an OG! I remember when i first found out about asmr and this channel. Everything is different from how it was nine years ago. These kind of unintentional asmr video vibes was such a trigger giver. I don't know if it's just me but nowadays new asmr videos don't give me triggers like old ones do. I miss those days :'(

Me too 😢 I always go to the older ones. I like the normal speed of soft spoken, I guess. Like nonintentional asmr kind of way. Ooh also low quality effects gave me tingles too. ❤
i remember when this came out and thinking “ooh a new maria video!” and “wow maria is getting so popular!” and now this video is 7 yrs old. it’s CRAZY how much time has flown, how much youtube has changed, and how much success you have found.

This is exactly what happened to me probably close to 8 years ago and I just came back to this video for a nice little look back in time. I was only about 13 (major scarf phase happening to me then lol) and I still fall asleep to or play asmr videos in the background when I'm studying to this day. Now just in college instead of middle school 😂

I can’t believe this is 10 yrs old! I’ve been watching Maria from the beginning and I love this video.
This was my first GentleWhispering video. I was just looking for how to scarf videos, and stumbled upon this. I remember about half way through I was like I don't care how to wear a scarf anymore just please don't stop talking!!! Lol
umm all I could think of was speed it up and stop talking. this could of taken half the time. Whats with the soft voice. I am straining to hold on here. but great work on the ties.
She does ASMR videos. That's what her channel is dedicated towards. The slow and gentle whispering is on purpose. That's what people want when they come to her channel. Hence the name, "GentleWhispering".

Agreed. Her voice now is like she’s trying to hard to sound relaxing. She never had to try hard at all! Now her voice is too slow and almost too quiet.

The single strand that links all of her videos is respect of the human person. Male, female, all humans are important, honorable, and worth the pains taken for better momentary comfort. I realize that these are about ASMR, but philosophically, they mean so much more. Within ASMR is a kindness and self-respect that soothes as much as each soft spoken word.

Very nicely put! Agree 100%. ASMR aside, the most significant piece that shines through all Maria's videos is the vibe of love that goes beyond words. Way beyond. We all feel it instantly, whether it is spoken of or not. Everything else is really secondary.

I hope you know how brilliant these are and that you had shown something completely new to many people like myself. I bet you have so many skills that you might think are 'basic' and yet most people don't know and would seriously benefit from learning. Like how to tie a tie, how to style hair, how to organise/clean a desk/kitchen/bathroom etc.
A long time ago I saw a video of a girl showing different ways of wearing a scarf and I couldn't understand why it simply made me feel so calm and sleepy...

The men's tie is a single Windsor knot. Did it most of my life working in the corp. world with my ties (not scarf). Switched to double Windsor to even out the knot, then moved into teaching elementary kids and was able to ditch ties altogether. Now I wear fun ties for the holidays only. Nice video, very soothing voice.
This video was my first view of ASMR. I became addicted, and 2 years later I'm still learning my triggers.

Does anyone else notice that the more overtired/stressed you are, the easier you get ASMR tingles? I seem to be hearing the opposite is true for most people; but, for me, watching these when I'm super exhausted works best!

She is so amazing. Her genuine kindness and personality shines through in all of her videos. I believe she is such a kind person, in real life. I know her life hasn't always been good but I truly hope that the tough times are behind her and she has found true happiness. She so deserves it for all that she does for the ASMR community.

Relaxing and practical! I actually went out and bought some scarves so I could try these. I wore the pleated one you did at 17.00 over winter and can't wait for sunshine to bring out my light, floral scarves. =)

It wasn't just this, but it was a major turning point. I was happy to know that there was a world that cares on here and that they continued on even though we have assholes in it. This is like my second family. I took that concept with me where ever I went, kept being me, knowing that the human spirit is willing and that I always had somewhere to come back to. Hugs and Love
Also, thewaterwhispers and theoneliluim were some of the first people I came across that made me feel better about me.
