I'm no fan of vanilla servers but I do support the idée some players might like Thad alot and won't to do Thad I guess best way blizzard coud do this whitout compromising on quality but do Gif people the chance to play Vannila is true the emerald dream option i explain they coud still use the texture an today optional tech to polish stuf like they like to deliver it but gameplay wise they coud use cavren of times or emerald dream option to deliver a full Vannila way of play whit today tech and whitout pulling players from the current subscription based life game but stil Gif people what they won't if this is possible tech wise this could fix both sides broblems correct me when I'm wrong ... Blizzard olready told us they will not ever use the emerald dream option expansion sow best way to use Thad life and classic dream combination is to use Thad space for side projects people Thad follow these projects like the classic option hope I might talk some

I don't want to pay $15 a month for a 14 year old game other people are offering me for free , most current MMO's are free even bizzards other online games are free, most private servers are run for free/peanuts! if the largest part of the $15 is for customer support let me opt out of support?
You do realize that if all of us weren't paying that $15 a month that none of these servers would even exist, right? Those people offering you that content for free are breaking the law. So, cough up the $15 or don't play. "Free" games are micro-transaction fueled. Every game gets paid for somehow. The way it's going to work is that you'll sub to WoW just like you do now, and Vanilla will be part of the server list. You'll get full access to all the servers, just like now.
wixman666 Thank You! It's so simple to grasp. Sub = good game and more content and resources. 15 dollars a month is just literally 2 quarters a day. Pay the shit and get over it or don't play. Simple.
If you can't afford to play $15 (or even $10-11 if you buy your prepaid cards from code sites) then you don't need to play WoW.

The game was made before subscriptions existed, even if blizzard removed subscriptions today they would still be afloat with their cash shop, expansion costs and extortionate character services and Im sure they'd find the time to add loot boxes, hell they might even do it anyway with a sub because people will happily pay no matter what it seems. (pst that's what addicts do)
@Iresonate a sub for a game does not automatically make it good, things are not always that simple, I don't play wow and Im not going to pay for it, does not mean I can't have an opinion about subs, fanboism
@nello I can afford it, I have dumped a lot of money into it, they aren't getting anymore.
anyways blizzard hasn't announced ANYTHING about payment, what if they actually choose to make it free to play? or make it half the cost of normal subs ??
