I actually only played a gnome because I made him a warrior and I thought that a really short guy swinging a giant sword and fighting things that are always at least twice his size, was super funny.

The tauren was so accurate...my dad mains a tauren and is the guild leader of our guild. We met up with a guild member irl a couple years ago and he literally bought the chick a beer.

The most memorable time I've had in WoW was with two Tauren back in BC, two druids who were so chill, the three of us spent about 2 hours trying to finish one of the Auchindoun dungeons (it was before Dungeon Finder was a thing), maybe 3, as we waited for new people to show up. Eventually we finished it: 2 dps druids and 3 warlocks, using our Voidwalkers to tank and fear-leashing mobs to make fights manageable (back then the Curse or Recklessness made the target immune to Fear, so with some effort, you could make a mob run back and forth, effectively shutting them down while you dealt with the rest of their buddies). It happened 15-20 years ago but I will take that memory with me to the grave.

You forgot one import subset of the Night Elf player base. That segment is the group who farms gold on rp servers in Goldshire in by dancing in their underwear on the tables for tips.
Pretty sure that it was mostly draenei and elves. Every so often a Dwarve and gnome pops up... the only ones that I never saw in that place was human players... which as the video said, they are simple people.... AND we must add that like to keep the hell away from goldshire(even though it is infront of their capital).
There was this time back in the days in which if your character was female, no matter the race. You were greeted with open arms and lots of kisses and flirts. Unless you tried to kill someone then they killed you.

Encountered a Orc scammer who tried to make a pyramid scheme using a Guild, and when inside a dungeon, an Undead Knight or DK was just the biggest jerk in existence, the dude soloed the entire thing while insulting other players and closing doors on them, dude was on a mission.

I think lots of queer people also flock to the Forsaken because they identify with the themes of found family and being social outcasts and there is no catgirl race, so picking a character is much harder for trans people in this game compared to FF14

The Taurens were super friendly the troll that we would always play together was named Greatblaze so you know he toke he was funny too. Haven’t played with them because they quit I did too but I recently came back and they’re gone. Good times.

The bloodelf part was accurate. Back in pretty early WOW when I was a little kid first trying the game I played a bloodelf named Fearhole, my 8 year old self not seeing anything wrong with that. My older father and brother who both played forsaken kept telling me to change my name for some reason.

In real life I'm the joy of my garrison, always breaking the ice with a joke, even though the situation is serious. I love sports (Muay Thai), love to travel, ride motorcycle enjoy the nature. I'm very friendly and chill, just don't harm any animal or children near me. You will regreat.

I play many races but always lean towards night elves and Draenei for some reason. My main is a Draenei Shaman and I also play a Night Elf Hunter. I was gonna base this off my main but by your descriptions, I’m a mix of both. I loooove fantasy and sci fi, I am a treehugger, and Draenei are cool and unique.
Never ever seek validation or description of yourself and your personality (hint: everyone's kinda unique) in something someone who doesn't even know you says.
That's a recipe for disaster usually, especially with the numbers of judgemental ppl in this day and age and certain circles' motives...
I hope you've already reached that conclusion yourself but still.

Proud Troll huntress here. Not a pot smoker now, but I once was, though that was before I started playing WOW. I have been playing Warcraft games since 1995. I am absolutely in love with the lore and history of the WOW universe. My husband and I have a huge collection of every Warcraft book we can find. I enjoy the recipes from the WOW cook book and the Hearth Stone Tavern cook book. My husband is a typical Night Elf druid. Lol My 17yo daughter prefers to play D&D or Minecraft with her friends, but I think my 4yo son would probably play a Night Elf like his dad. XD

My guild leader during WOT was a Dwarf Proc Paladin, and he was exactly as you described. He was by far the most experienced one of us, and he constantly helped us. He was very friendly and attentive to the guildies, but god forbid if you messed with him, his wrath was worse than that of The Lich King's.

As a notorious night elf player, I must say, that was uncannely accurate...
Shows how I changed over time - started out as a human, second main was a dwarf and third was a gnome. Dwarf is still my fav though. Only description which didn’t fit at all was the gnome one - am I one of the only people that just kinda likes the way they look?

I used to put down an iron forge portal as a mage in the deep run tram, just outside the tram. When the players got off and tried to use it and realized they can’t it was too late for them to get back on the tram.
This is wayyyyy too spot on... I play a Night elf main and am in fact exactly what you say in real life and also have a human alt named Eowynn who roleplays the shield maiden from LOTR. I feel personally attacked right now lol!
I don't know what it is about goblins, but I'm always forgetting that they exist for some reason. Every time I come across one, which is very rare as I play on Stormrage, I always ask myself, "when did they add goblins to the game?"

I love fantasy and used to always play night elf so that was true but I started playing draenei because I got bored of the starting zones and storylines after but other than that it is pretty accurate.

Pandaren are a beautiful race. Every time my character starts fighting I just think of Po from Kung Fu Panda and I want to just cry everytime because of the joy I get from seeing the resemblance between Po and my Character. It's just a beautiful thing to lay my sweet little virgin eyes upon :')

Yeah, sadly. This kind of view is rare. Like, 10% of pandaren picked it because we actually like the race and feel connected to it. Personally, I was always called "panda" back in school and the moment this race came up? It was like a dream. Always loved the pandaren that appeared after the secret level in W3 with the blood elves. Wanted him to appear on WoW.
But after meeting with some Pandaren players in real life... yeah, sadistic doesn't cut it. They are the kind of people that love to watch the world burn.

As a dwarf enjoyer, I have to say you nailed it. I'm always friendly and helpful with everyone in the game. Like, when a pally runs by and gives me a blessing of might, I'll fire off a quick /thanks. When I join a dungeon group, I'll /cheer people that I recognize :D

I mean, one time I arrived to a raid wearing a dress because I was doing some weird dungeon from before. Also didn't carry a weapon on me and had old food, but we wiped in a minute so no one noticed. I was healer.

I disagree with the blood elves one. The reason I chose a blood elf was, in my opinion, that they look the best out of all of the Horde races. Plus I like their history.

Every blood elf player is basic af and choose blood elf for their gorgeous appearance.
Also, just wanted to say that I don't know why everyone thinks Pandarens are silly or whatever. I'm actually obsessed with the music in Pandaria and pretty much just the vibe of the place.
I would ALSO like to say that THE PANDAREN STORYLINE IS BY. FAR. THE BEST IN THE GAME. CHANGE MY MIND.

I remember making a Gnome character out of spite because my boyfriend told me, "You should totally play a Gnome Warrior." "Uh, why?" "Because you're short and you're often very salty at minor inconveniences. Would totally fit a Gnome fury warrior."
I literally made a Gnome Warrior out of pure spite to prove to him I didn't like melee classes. Joke's on me, that Gnome is now my main. Woops? :P
