It is slightly harder for the body the digest the latter, because chewing is hard, but it doesn't really matter when it is in the stomach.

Thats because the biggest thing youve ever worked on is probably a simple house. Shulkers are mobile chests, but a bundle is just a few slots, an absolute mess, and not worth the effort. Nobody taking the game serious would ever make more than maybe 1 bundle prior to the end (something people usually start with on an SMP) and then it becomes entirely useless after shulkers.
So why even add it? Why spend the time or effort making a new inventory managing item if its funtionally useless to those of us with shulkers? I will never use these in my modern survival worlds. Stop defending everything mojang does.

Whilst yes, the Rascal could have given us Backpacks as a reward, that’s the key word: COULD. There was no guarantee that the Rascal would’ve been anything further than just an enchanted Iron Pickaxe, and that being the end of it’s functionality.
It COULD have been a full on companion like a Wolf, sharing inventory and potentially assisting in Mining or Combat. But, that’s not what we saw.
So, going by the logic of “What we see is what we get”, Mojang EXPLICITLY states that there is more coming alongside the Sniffer, primarily in the form of new Seeds and Plants. On a raw, objective level, the Sniffer presented more ON THE TABLE than the Rascal or Tuff Golem.

I think that is also because Terraria focuses a lot more on exploration, combat and fighting bosses and waves of enemies that just require you having a whole bunch of special items on you, different weapons, different ways to move around, potions for healing ect. The amount of gear you can find in the game from exploring and also the amount of gear you have to keep on you late game to actually do well would break all bounds of what Minecraft allows you to carry.
Minecraft started out as a game focuses around basic survival and building structures. It works well if you play it exactly like that, but if you want to have additional pieces of gear on you, it'll get cluttered fast and none of that is ever really much of a requirement either. So yeah maybe increasing stack sizes and inventory slots would be much helpful. Like who's gonna use potions in survival when you run out of space so fast with them?

I agree that there should have been an update like this. Essentially, some features of MC need to be refurbished. Player animations, entity models, textures (like how the creeper doesn't blend in anymore), loot, structures, MC's static nature, moveable tile entities, performance, animations, ambience, MC being way too easy ∴ very boring to play by yourself, etc. need to be improved. But, I think it is a good thing that Mojang isn't promising too much as that's what they did for 1.17, and maybe even 1.18 since the Deep Dark was delayed. When I watched MC Live for 1.17, I immediately knew there would be no way they could deliver. That was just too much content. I think they were running off the high of the Nether Update. Stepping back and taking a breather is okay; they care about the game and are trying to rebuild trust, and this is the way they can. Just give it time, they care, but they have their own lives, plus their morale is probably low after putting in so much time for such a 'meh' response to 1.19. I'm sure they care, they just need a break :D!

You can compress 9 items into 1 and it will only take up 1 slot in the bundle. You couldn't do that with the ore blocks themselves. For example, 63 iron ore blocks will take up 63 slots in the bundle vs 63 raw iron which can be compressed into 7 raw iron blocks that take up 7 slots in the bundle. Also helps when you have little amounts of various resources that you don't want to throw away.

The issue of Minecraft java performance is not going to change significantly in a long time, there are several options that Mojang can take without having to change the game code, these can be: Add the option that the height of the water does not have transparency and decrease the amount of grass that spawns in a world, I don't know why they haven't made this change or added this option, since this exists in the Bedrock version of Minecraft.
The issue of Bedrock version bugs is something that has always bothered me and I can't find any logical explanation as to why they are not solved, as it is possible that Mojang does not pay attention to the version that generates more money, for example; when a small lighting bug is reported in minecraft java it doesn't take more than 2 weeks to fix it, on the other hand in bedrock it takes months to fix it, it's not possible that if they're aware of it and don't take care of the performance, it doesn't surprise me anymore none of this, I expected nothing less from you mojang, many blame Microsoft, but they only included micropayments and chat bans (Which is bullshit).
Mojang is the one that decides to give more importance to spin-offs than to the main game, and I don't consider myself a hater of Mojang or its games, Minecraft is my favorite game and I consider Mojang programmers to be very good people, but I can't defend its shortcomings as a developer studio, comment if you think the same.

It's a good idea to have a tying up loose ends update. But it's also a bit annoying that people complain about how they're not gonna get certain features when they've only released the first snapshot and made it clear they'd only talk about/show off features that were far enough in development to definitely get added. They will most likely add many more things, so it's a bit misleading and quite annoying that people already label the update as underwhelming.

It's still a possibility for us to get other features in 1.20 they just only announced things that were finished or about to be finished to not dissapoint the us like the last few years.

    Should be*
I feel we're talking too soon about a non finalized update in which mojang is implementing community feedback by not talking such a big game about every concept they just *might* put in the game. They just announced what is ready to set in a snapshot. We literally just saw the one snapshot with everything announced up until now

on the topic of revamping biomes, i never really understood why mojang's final decision for the swamp vote features they implemented in 1.19 was to just put all of them into a whole new biome, and just left the swamp with nothing new besides the frogs. I think it would have been much more interesting if they had kept the original biome vote idea of having it all be added into the swamp.
And i can only hope they don't decide to follow the same idea for any other biome vote choices they decide to implement. I can't imagine them making a whole different savanna biome just to add the baobab trees, termites and ostriches.

    11:42 That's your opinion
That's like Changing the Redstone logic to a Bugged Redstone logic as a Bedrock player.
Why you think Parity Change like Bedrock should become like java why not Java should become like Bedrock.
+ Microsoft already released a Minecraft Windows Edition if you want Both Version to Look and Behave like the same you can just Switch to Minecraft Windows Edition
Only exception is Linux, Unix, BSD and Macintosh Users

    • @SashaMasonVR
      @SashaMasonVR Год назад

Because Bedrock Redstone is broken. Java Redstone, despite it's "unintentional features" isn't. The fact that the exact same setup, on Bedrock, can produce multiple different outcomes seemingly at random should tell you enough how broken it is. Java Redstone always works the exact same. It doesn't randomly produce a different outcome with the same input. Redstone builds end up working sometimes, and sometimes not.
Other counter argument, Java is older, it's the OG Minecraft, if anything Bedrock should stick to the original, not Java become like it's remake.

Minecraft has historically had down updates between large updates. I’m hoping 1.20 fixes a couple things and has no major features. 1.21 then is the end update.

I finished the video and as a tldr to everything I want to or have said: The update isn’t even out yet guys give Mojang a break they been kicked in the balls 2 times in a row they’re still recovering.
Im editing this as I go through the video and rn this seems kinda pointless. But I do agree Mojang should take some time to optimize the game’s code
    “1.20 should have been better”:
It’s still brand new also they only shown stuff that they have 100% or 99% finished.
“Why can’t Mojang just fix the game?”:
Yes, Minecraft is backed by a billion dollar company but just because you got more people doesn’t mean its easier to do something. Also they can’t just add something and call it a day they have to test it again and again so that it adds as little bugs as possible.
    4:56 :
Because they only want to show and give out stuff that they have finished so they don’t have a firefly incident again. Also like I said before its still new
    8:19 :
Don’t talk to my child ever again… (in all seriousness tho it could and should do more like adding more crop seeds or maybe being a tool to help in an archeology update)
    12:07 :
This was about how many people are trying to go over 8 million blocks in Minecraft but yeah ~180k is kinda low but still not many are doing that but they it should be fixed, but also, -but still, AAAAAA WTH DO I SAYYYY!!!!

It's not that 1.20 is only releasing 4 features, it's that they didn't announce everything at once. Looking at how the caves & cliffs update ended up taking 3 releases to become fully 'complete', and all the other back logged things they promised. This isn't the first time, 1.12 was supposed to be the aquatic update, but that got pushed to 1.13. On the bright side, they are honest about it and have never released an update in a completely unplayable state. Some features may be unfinished or broken but the game is always still playable, they never had a CP2077 flop.
It seems they decided to stop over promising at Minecon and to release/announce things as they are ready like it was in the earlier days. I remember in the early snapshots things would just appear and disappear without notice. Features were officially announced when the version was released.
Another thing to remember is that these updates are free, and snapshots don't have to exist at all. Look at all the content added from 1.0 to 1.19 in the past 11 years, all of it for free. Name another game that has that has been supported for this long, consistently and for free. Minecraft could just as easily be like city skylines or sims with every little feature costing $5, $10 or $15. Nope, the updates are just free, with a cool beta program (snapshots) built right in and you get the ability to play any version ever released.

With what they are adding right now, it doesn’t look like the End is getting overhauled in this update. Adding the previously announced but still unimplemented features like termites, meerkats, vultures, as well as other biome improvements, seems the best way to go here. I’d love to see the performance, combat (including hunger) and inventory getting completely overhauled, but I assume they’re gonna ignore that completely or just say it’s not in the spirit of minecraft or something
