  • Hi everyone!
I’m currently on month 7 of my TSW healing journey.
I've had Eczema as a child and used topical steroid creams for it for over 20 years... I stopped using the creams as my Eczema was getting better - this is how I got into topical steroid withdrawal.
'No moisture treatment' has been helping me a lot.
Please do keep in mind that the Dead Sea Salt bath featured in this video is NOT part of the 'No moisture treatment'. Although I still do NOT use any moisturisers, I am figuring out what works for me, hence you'll see me try out different things that are not within the NMT protocol.

I totally relate to you! My mental state took a big turn about a few months ago. I'm 9 months into my TSW and when you say you're tired and just over it, I know exactly what you're talking about. Crying everyday? Yes, that's me! Now, I don't cry outloud everyday like I used to, but I'll cry to myself. But when I can't take it anymore, I'll cry really loud and don't care who's around. It's so tiring and it will drain me! Everyday I'm trying my best to eat right, take supplements, shakes, a little exercise if I can, thinking positive and just trying to do and think right. It's fuckin taking over my life and I do wonder if it will ever get better. Sure I watch others and they say that it will and at some point I do believe that, but to deal with it EVERYDAY will overwhelm me. Like your boyfriend, my husband is so super duper supportive and I used to think if he was gonna leave me. But he hasn't and he always cheers me up and talks and tells me over and over again that it will get better and that he's always there. Which he is.
I am now seeing a therapist and a psychiatrist because of my mental state. I take advantage of it, because being in the groups and in therapy really helps me with my mental state of mind. That can be something you may want to explore. I am in my house 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and to have groups of therapy and a therapist helps me out a little and gets me out of my mind. My heart goes out to you, you are like other TSW Warriors are in my everyday prayers! Hang in there and just know that you are loved and thought of. Take it one day at a time. Literally! Sending you Love, Light, Hugs and Healing!!!

Just wanted to say that YOU got this and I’m praying for you! You’re strong and you will get through this! There is light at the end of the tunnel, but again, you freakin got this!!

TSW really does take over our lives and it is so stressful and overwhelming. At this point this lifestyle is starting to become my norm and it’s scary because I feel like if I settle for this I’ll forever have this lifestyle. So I remind myself that this is only temporary and everyday we are a day closer to healing even if that day is worse than the day before. We are very lucky to have such supportive partners. We’ll get through this🤍

Hi Remi I hope your mental health is better. I’m in month 10 now. Things are better but not over yet.
I find that doing a weight training routine really helps with mental health. When I’m not in pain I work out.
Hope you feel better sending love from Canada

It’s been a month since this vlog and I feel much better. I’m in my clear skin phase and I’m feeling hopeful again but I’m trying not to be controlled over how my skin is so that I don’t get depressed again once I enter a new flare! Thank you for your tip xx

Hang in there Remi 😊 It is getting better day by day even if it doesn’t look like it, you are a step closer💖 I know it’s hard to imagine, but all of this is working for your good! I typically flare around my cycle and the depression hits hard. Sending much love you are very strong for sharing!

I also was sick for the first time with tsw like a month ago! (Btw I also felt like my tsw symptoms were lessened while sick). And released my 15 month update last week in which I mentioned mental health too; which I find so intriguing! Although our tsw timelines are different, I find it so interesting how they seem to be mirroring lately. KEEP GOING REMI!! 🥰 Sending love from 🇺🇸💜

@@remi.tswjourney Thank youuuu! Like you said in the video, we don't have the option to walk away from this, so we are forced to just continue. It seems like a negative at first, but if you think about it this way: Because we have no choice but to keep going, as long as we do that, our healing is pretty much guaranteed at the end of this. So just remember that during those extra hard days 🤗🥰

Girl, yes. Get back to prayer and meditation. When your own spirit lacks the strength you need to keep going, that’s when you have to surrender yourself and let God (whatever power you believe in) move for you.
I’m almost 5 months in to tsw, but the flares I have are manageable. I’ve been working on my mindset and rewiring my brain to heal my body. Yes a healthy diet also helps, but our minds have the biggest role in our health too. You are resilient. You are strong. You are worthy and capable of being your best self now-no need to wait for clear skin to do that. Be who you always dreamed of and that clear skin and healed body will follow. You are strong. And so amazing for sharing your journey so vulnerably. You got this Remi 🙏🏼✨♥️🕊️

Wow thank you for such powerful words. I agree, mindset has the biggest impact. I’m overseas visiting my family and during my time here, I’ve realised that I often forget that fact that I am going through TSW. Being around my family who don’t give a f about how my skin looks like creates this safe, comfortable environment. I noticed my skin has been doing so well since coming here and I think it’s largely because of that🥰🤍

I really feel like you should try moisturizing products and see if it feels more beneficial than drying your skin out. Because your skin is naturally going to come off and exfoliate off dead skin. I don’t think you need to be extreme by letting your skin completely dry it self out. You definitely don’t need the steroids! You just need to find a routine that works for you and that heals and protects the skins barrier. Because right now your skin is very sensitive and open to further exposure. I highly recommend Cetaphil moisturizing lotion and then apply the aquaphor healing ointment on top! & you could also get a lotion that is anti itch. I’m only saying this because I want to help. 🥺❤️ I seriously have very sensitive eczema skin, & I understand how your feeling. And I could confidently say that I healed my skin by keeping my skin very hydrated, which made me stop itching the skin as much because it wasn’t dry and irritated so overtime my skin healed properly. I really hope you feel better.

You should try Aquaphor healing ointment. It always helped with my eczema and it actually makes your skin feel relived of itch & your skin won’t be flaky it will look moisturized.

Hi Remi and everyone, i'm also suffering TSW. Today is my 2nd month away from steroid creams. All of my Eczema/TSW wounds are swelling and oozing like hell !!! I still have a long pain to go right...??!! hahahaaa...
Many thanks for your videos by the way. Watching your videos make me feel motivated and more patienced, especially the last one is exactly what i need right now (Oh God i wanna cry...).
Why does this 'setted up' disease even exist, and all the doctors still prescribe this 'hell made' ointment (i fought with the last doctor i met by the way).
    However, keep smile everyone :)
Oh Remi, could you please to write down the progress of the month in each of your videos? (in your short videos sometimes not explained) it will be very helpful.

the emotional toll is really a struggle .. im strugling with this while trying to raise 3 boys under 4 they want o jump on me and is tough having to tell them its too painful for you to do that ..ive recently started trying compression moisture control garments at night and it seems to be making the itch abit less . have you tried something like that before ...I find when mu skin is exposed im more inclined to want to scratch .. it sort of feels like ive developed some sort of skin picking disorder in the process or compulsive scratching if that makes sense ... so im currently trailing compressive socks tights and long sleeve tops ...hope you find something that makes this more bareable for you

Have you tried Moist Wound Healing to try and encourage the healing process. This is a technique that burn victims use to regenerate their skin faster. I used it during my TSW and I felt it greatly enhanced the process of healing.
