You are so right! I healed my eczema by going on a strict vegan diet for a whole year! Not only did I lose weight and cure my eczema, I was also able to get off all of my diabetes medications and got pregnant on our own! (4 times might I add 😅) Change your lifestyle and watch miracles happen! ❤

It's great news that you have made a recovery. It feels like we are still living in the dark ages for things like eczema and psoriasis. I had terrible psoriasis for 18 months and the doctors could only recommend using topical creams. It's a shame that gut health isn't something that GPs don't consider more.

Sorry it's a gluten issue and always it's a gluten issue which exaggerates and changes other biomimicry things like what goes on in your gut but the main issue is gluten first then your gut will heal itself over time... And then you need to supplement with the Omega 3 6 is a 9 and a dark bottle that's refrigerated and then get on some kind of mineral formula... I've been taking care of people for 38 years I'm very familiar with this issue

Diluted oregano oil changed my life….. I use to use steroid creams from childhood to around 30. I had leather skin and even had breakouts in my private parts. All changed with oregano oil. It stopped the flair ups instantly. It might not work for everyone, but it did for me 🎉

There is one function of the body that literally heals it from the inside out very quickly, and to trigger this process you have to water fast! By water fasting you allow your gut and digestive system to rest and heal, and your body will begin to target all the bad, old, and dead cells and replace them with new

US Healthcare Compliance Officer here. I have many concerns and I urge you all, eczema or otherwise, to read on. I will describe what you should expect when receiving treatment for conditions such as this, and what to do--and how to identify--if their treatment was inadequate. MDs don't have the power to tell you something without explanation, nor can they act without oversight. You not only have the ability to take action, but I would argue the responsibility to do so in service to other patients. I will assume this video is not simply an advertisement for this probiotic, and multiple GPs/Derms did in fact tell you only to "stop scratching" and "apply steroid creams". ------------- Standard Medical Practices: The following are standards. These are not best cases or "a good MD maybe but not mine" situations. These are requirements, full-stop. 1) Patient Communication and Education: When you are diagnosed with a medical condition, the MD explains the condition including why they are telling you to do or not do an activity (e.g. why scratching impacts the condition, why you should not do so, and how to manage that action). 2) Treatment Plan: If you have a treatable condition, like eczema, the MD provides a treatment plan. This includes details for any prescriptions given, an expected timeline of resolution before switching medications or treatments, etc. This information is not made up based on the MD's determination solely but must be validated. In addition, they must document with evidence why the determined any given treatment plan, including if they under or over-act. 3) Next Steps: The MD will provide details on what to monitor and do if the treatment plan fails or does not improve the condition within a determined timeline. ------------- What To Do If You've Received Inadequate Care: Too often movies make patients think "a second opinion" is what you do when your doctor is bad. Sure, but more often this is when your diagnosis is unclear, for complex/rare issues, major or risky treatments, etc. 1) Perceived Inadequate Care: If your MD does too little to treat your condition, does not perform the actions I detailed above, seems disinterested or dismissive, etc. these are not acceptable nor allowable. Not only should you not accept this outcome, you should report it. It is woefully (and legally) inadequate. 2) Failure to Follow Standards: Eczema is a fantastic example. Creams are often the initial step for mild to moderate eczema, along with anti-itch creams (or antihistamines if necessary). But if these fail, eczema is treatable with various corticosteroids, calcineurin inhibitors, immunosuppressants, biologics, etc. If their treatment plan doesn't include "if X fails in Y time, Z will be considered.", that is inadequate and reportable. 3) Dismissive MD Your MD provides the treatment plan on timeline. However, if you personally feel your condition is not improving or is more severe than they MD, you can request more aggressive treatment. If you did not follow the MD's initial treatment plan or they have concerns of the impact of a more aggressive treatment, then a second opinion is perfectly reasonable. However, the treatment plan will indicate the initial treatment and next steps/more aggressive treatment options if initial treatment fails. Treatable conditions should always follow this model for patient health, patient awareness, and transparency. ------------- Reporting: If you feel your MD has provided inadequate care for the reasons listed above, or any other reason, I suggest the following reporting options: 1) Report to the Hospital: Healthcare systems all have internal audit teams, and they are not their to protect MDs. They protect the organization. MDs that violate regulations cost that healthcare system a lot of money. Thus, healthcare systems hire people whose only job is to tightly control and scrutinize their staff's actions to determine inadequacies. 2) State Health Board: If you don't trust the hospital (privately owned practice, for example) go directly to the state medical board. 3) Joint Commission: Similar to a state health board, the Joint Commission oversees healthcare quality and safety. None of the above protect MDs in any situation. Their purview is highly regulated to create systems of objectivity without conflict of interest or bias. ------------- This Report As An Example: Using this video, here's what concerns me and why you should report if this video represents a situation you have been in. 1) Woefully Inadequate Care Plan -Itching: The MD provided no treatment for anti-itch -Awareness: The MD did not provide patient education materials indicating what the cream did, how long it should take, how to control itch, why itching is detrimental, etc. 2) Did Not Follow Standard; Disinterested: -The MD told the patient to "stop itching" rather than providing well-known, documented, and standardized treatment to support anti-itch in eczema patients. -The MD did not provide next steps or reassure the patient of the vast array of well proven treatments for eczema if any given initial treatment failed, was denied by the patient, or otherwise caused the patient concern. 3)Follow-Up: -The MD did not provide indications for how long treatment would take, nor what would happen if corticosteroids failed. -The MD did not indicate mechanisms to contact them if the patient believed the severity of their symptoms advanced, nor transparency that patient choice is a factor in treatment availability. ------------- Probiotics: Efficacy: -MD Support: Probiotics may be recommended by an MD for eczema as a supplemental care in addition to medications, but not as a replacement. -Evidence: Probiotics have not been shown to have a substantial impact on the treatment of eczema. Eczema is a complex condition, and information to date does not show any dramatic changes or resolution of eczema to-date. Therefore, MDs who recommend only probiotics without a traditional treatment for eczema would also be reportable to the healthcare system, state board, etc. for providing inadequate treatment. -Gut Biome: Patient-use of probiotics which result in substantial impact on the patient's eczema would suggest a substantial impact from the gut/GI system on the patient's systemic inflammatory response. If probiotics alone resulted in vast improvement in your eczema, I strongly suggest you see your GP and report this event to further look into auto-immune deficiencies. Probiotics simply wouldn't address eczema to a notable degree based on any study available to-date. Everyone, best of luck in your eczema journey.
