I own this bike and have had it for about 5 months. Long rides and short rides and it’s been very reliable actually. I live in Daytona beach and have taken it around town during bike week and have gotten compliments on it for a nice cruise bike and beginner bike
So they may have done it and just not shown it in the video or I may have missed it, but I HIGHLY recommend doing an every nut and bolt inspection of anything shipped in a crate before cranking it over. Much less starting it and riding it. It would be horrible to see something catastrophic happen because someone missed or didn't get a bolt tight in an assembly line moving just a little too fast at the factory it was built at. Also what kind of warranty does it carry?

OC: It's 2021. I would never buy a brand new carubureted bike anymore these days. Can't get these things road legal in the EU. Also looks like it's made from leftovers from bikes that aren't produced anymore... Mirrors Kawasaki ninja 250r. Tach: Honda cbr 250r. fairing Kawasaki ER-6f, and so on...
Even at $2,500 dollars it's too expensive....these things are marked up about $1,000 dollars from what they sell in other markers i.e. south American and Asian markets....how do I know this? Am currently in a south American country and these things are being sold between $1,500 and $2,000 U.S. dollars..and with cash in hand that price will comes down ....

Longevity wise that probably wouldn't be the best purchase lol I can only imagine how much stuff would break and give out just after a few months. Better off buying a used Japanese bike. My ZX6R was only $2300 and lasted over 10 years and still going.
Tbh most chinese bikes are okay at this, usual point of failure is just weak plastics that are exposed to vibrations. As long as you're not crazy with them they can last a pretty long time especially considering this does actually have an old cbr 250 engine in it, that said for this budget you could probably get more bike for this same money, not like you're missing out of tech by virtue of chinese being a newer build as it has none.
@@smithrick7051 Welds generally. A lot of these chinese bikes use an old honda or suzuki engine architecture and aren't counterbalanced. So they vibrate the bolts off and break the cheap welds.
I mean a mb200 hurricane is 1300$ and they are solid machines. so it should be no surprise a solid bike can be had for over 2k as long as the company knows what they are doing.
Cool, thanks for the review on the X22R. Back in 2008, a Ninja new model 250R with carb start, was in the range of $3200 brand new, but then following years, spiked to $4000 or so and went up ever since.
yeah and a 2021 CBR300R right off the showroom floor is $3,999... Honda is WAY better than this Chinese turd, with a better warranty and with certified Honda mechanics at those dealerships to repair and replace EVERYTHING on the bike. Venom is trying to rob people selling these bikes at $3300.00. Alibaba sells them for $600.. Freight forwarder is a couple hundred.. add $300 for delivery service from Freight Forwarder Port to your door step.. and you can easily get this bike yourself for $1500.00.
@@ChristopherJones16 I’d love to get one of their 300 clones just for the frame and parts so I could swap an EX250F inside for the EX250L look and a ton of modern replica parts. I imagine that this kind of thing happens when they make enough replica parts that you could almost build a whole bike with them… so someone fills in the gaps and does exactly that. The frame looks like a clone but the brakes obviously aren’t. Headlight, fairings, footrests, pedals, handlebars, windscreen, and more are straight-up sold as parts for the EX300 and EX250L (250 version of the EX300 for Japan and SE Asia). I believe the swingarm is an off the shelf part (“UniTrak”).
@@jumpinjehoshaphat1951 They did update that same model After 2008 to have EFI fuel injection, but in the USA, my 2008 250R had a carburetor for certain, even with the little handle to increase the carb fuel mixture on the left handle bar which I have photos for, but also confirmed through Kawasaki USA. Owned a 2008 Ninja 250 for 15 years.

@@kflight6500 It was great for what I needed it for. Had to replace a few things along the year of ownership. But for what you get, can't beat the price point for a new 250cc. Bar ends ( one flew out while riding ), c-clip on gear shifter ( fell out while riding ), and possibly some pads behind the fairing screws to keep vibrations down above 50mph. I've upgraded and sold it since I posted a year ago. Upgraded to a cbr500r.

7:127:17 my bike makes that same noise and it clicks and if I jump the battery it runs like 8:10 then shuts right off... Any Moto doctors can ya plz explain to me as a new rider wat can I do to fix it... I've tried changing the solenoid relay, the spark plugs, the oil, and put new gas in it... Still won't start
My R3 was $4204 out the door brand new with a deal, that thing after shopping and fees like taxes, reg... It's not too far off. Nice looking bike though. Probably good for a first timer convert to first time track.
It's free shipping, couple hundred bucks to tag it up. Prob spend another $400 doing mods. Which leaves $1200 of what you spent to buy some gear, take off work a few days and go on a road trip with it lol but yes an R3 is better of course

Best decision i made was selling my “venom” aka dongfang 250 and lettin everyone know that this guy is a fraud on the cheap bikes. He lies and said he didnt get it for free but he did. He gets all his bikes for “free” but there really test runs where from the dealership he works at to help company sells and build his RUclips channel at the same time. I would buy a used Japanese bike, and for beginners, a used bike will also teach u about bike maintenance. Japanese bikes have more options for accessories, upgrades and various types of parts. Also, mainstream brands follow the homologation standards to a tee, which is good for safety.

DO NOT BUY THIS BIKE. This bike is garbage. I cant believe this guy endorses it. I had it for 6months, bought it brand knew. Didnt ride it hardly at all after the first 2 months bc it was so slow and boring so I sold it. Not to mention its cheaply made. Youll be lucky to make it past 2k miles before it craps out. Stick to name brands like kawasaki, honda, yamaha and suzuki.

DO NOT BUY THIS BIKE. This bike is garbage. I cant believe this guy endorses it. I had it for 6months, bought it brand knew. Didnt ride it hardly at all after the first 2 months bc it was so slow and boring so I sold it. Not to mention its cheaply made. Youll be lucky to make it past 2k miles before it craps out. Stick to name brands like kawasaki, honda, yamaha and suzuki.
The x22 should get a motor swap with a zs 212cc or a cb300f and it will do 80mph be a closer comparison or a good race 🤔👌👍✌️💯
