Every day, you calculate how to get from Me, checking how much wealth and how many material things you have obtained from Me. Every day, you wait more and more for more grace to descend upon you so that you can enjoy more and more pleasant things. That is what is in your mind at every moment and not Me or the truth that comes from Me, rather your husband (wife), sons, daughters, or what you eat and wear, and how you can enjoy more and more pleasant things. Even if you punch your stomach until it overflows, aren't you little more than a corpse? I’m a former NYPD officer and the last thing you wanna do as a driver is to pull to the right thinking you’re doing something. When someone is being chased and going in and out of traffic you’ll cause a massive accident. Just stay in your lane and let the bad guy and cop pick the lanes. Because not everyone is smart enough to make smart moves and I’m talking from a few chase I’ve been involved in where I was almost taken out by other drivers getting in the way.

I'm gonna have to respectfully disagree. Yes, there's one stupid van driver but, too, many pursuing police cars. I'm getting TF out of the way of that potential death chase. Cops get as much tunnel vision and laser focused on the pursuit as the suspects d/t adrenaline and have hurt, maimed and killed many innocent drivers and pedestrians as a result. And, they often don't render aid to the injured parties until way too late. That's from 1000s of hours of watching police incidents and pursuits as far back as "COPS" 35 yrs ago.

Unlike here in CA., places like Florida and Texas the DA's will charge, but what you have to worry about are the judges continually granting felony bond to those who are out on multiple violent felony bonds already. For example, both states had men last yr that were out on 8 to 9 separate bonds for things like armed robbery, assault with a deadly weapon, r*pe, DV with great bodily harm etc., who went on to murder people while out on all those bonds. One being the DV victim. Regardless of what state you're in, the criminals, even very violent felons are being let back out on the streets to continue. "Red" states haven't flat out openly decriminalized things like the "Blue" states, and they don't have the openly activist DA's, but a lot of that is more about giving people the illusion that they're still just as tuff on crime. Sadly, it's Nationwide and for all the same reasons regardless of where you live.
It’s incredible how there are dozens of police vehicles and so many completely oblivious citizens who can’t see the flashing lights or simply are too stupid or unconcerned, and simply don’t clear a path. Seeing a flashing light in your mirror is visible from as far back as a mile potentially, but certainly from just a hundred or so feet back. Why some of this cops weren’t able to get ahead of chase as they were joining, is puzzling as well. They could force a clearing and presumably also coerce the fleeing vehicle into submission without injury to civilians.

With the chase overtaking the regular traffic at such high speeds, and with so many LEO in pursuit, hard to know that it was happening to you until it passed.
Had a car pass me at high speed just after a curve so I moved one lane to the right in the event highway patrol was not far behind. After moving over I heard the sirens, then saw the lights after they made the curve. Point being if a vehicle passes at high speed, highway patrol might be close behind.
As a driver of firetrucks I tell people if emergency vehicles are coming up behind you always pull over to the right side or even the shoulder. But do it safely. @@KittyMama61

Yes, but they were way back, and totally ineffective. What a waste of taxpayer money and police resources! Two or three unmarked police vans could have ended this within a couple minutes if they were trained properly. There's a new technique where a strap can be thrown around a rear wheel of the fleeing vehicle from a pursuing vehicle. This causes the fleeing vehicle to slow to a stop safely.
Wow, what an intense police chase! The coordination and determination shown by law enforcement, especially the Florida Highway Patrol, was truly impressive. Despite the high speeds and dangerous maneuvers, they managed to stop the suspect van with multiple pit maneuvers, ensuring the safety of other drivers on the road. The professionalism and quick thinking of the officers involved are commendable. Kudos to everyone involved in bringing this situation to a safe conclusion!

What always amazes me is the number of police cars chasing the vehicle, with no plan to block traffic or join the pursuit in front of the target to box them in. Twenty or thirty police cars following one vehicle seems more than a little excessive.

I’m a former NYPD officer and the last thing you wanna do as a driver is to pull to the right thinking you’re doing something. When someone is being chased and going in and out of traffic you’ll cause a massive accident. Just stay in your lane and let the bad guy and cop pick the lanes. Because not everyone is smart enough to make smart moves and I’m talking from a few chase I’ve been involved in where I was almost taken out by other drivers getting in the way.

I'm gonna have to respectfully disagree. Yes, there's one stupid van driver but, too, many pursuing police cars. I'm getting TF out of the way of that potential death chase. Cops get as much tunnel vision and laser focused on the pursuit as the suspects d/t adrenaline and have hurt, maimed and killed many innocent drivers and pedestrians as a result. And, they often don't render aid to the injured parties until way too late. That's from 1000s of hours of watching police incidents and pursuits as far back as "COPS" 35 yrs ago.

Unlike here in CA., places like Florida and Texas the DA's will charge, but what you have to worry about are the judges continually granting felony bond to those who are out on multiple violent felony bonds already. For example, both states had men last yr that were out on 8 to 9 separate bonds for things like armed robbery, assault with a deadly weapon, r*pe, DV with great bodily harm etc., who went on to murder people while out on all those bonds. One being the DV victim. Regardless of what state you're in, the criminals, even very violent felons are being let back out on the streets to continue. "Red" states haven't flat out openly decriminalized things like the "Blue" states, and they don't have the openly activist DA's, but a lot of that is more about giving people the illusion that they're still just as tuff on crime. Sadly, it's Nationwide and for all the same reasons regardless of where you live.
In Los Angeles they would be offered Lakers tickets and an apology for inconveniencing them while committing their crimes.

It’s incredible how there are dozens of police vehicles and so many completely oblivious citizens who can’t see the flashing lights or simply are too stupid or unconcerned, and simply don’t clear a path.
Seeing a flashing light in your mirror is visible from as far back as a mile potentially, but certainly from just a hundred or so feet back.
Why some of this cops weren’t able to get ahead of chase as they were joining, is puzzling as well. They could force a clearing and presumably also coerce the fleeing vehicle into submission without injury to civilians.
¾ of Dade drivers don't have a clue what to do. I blame lack of interpretation, but sometimes it's poverty of thought.

Had a car pass me at high speed just after a curve so I moved one lane to the right in the event highway patrol was not far behind. After moving over I heard the sirens, then saw the lights after they made the curve. Point being if a vehicle passes at high speed, highway patrol might be close behind.
As a driver of firetrucks I tell people if emergency vehicles are coming up behind you always pull over to the right side or even the shoulder. But do it safely. @@KittyMama61

Two or three unmarked police vans could have ended this within a couple minutes if they were trained properly. There's a new technique where a strap can be thrown around a rear wheel of the fleeing vehicle from a pursuing vehicle. This causes the fleeing vehicle to slow to a stop safely.
Wow, what an intense police chase! The coordination and determination shown by law enforcement, especially the Florida Highway Patrol, was truly impressive. Despite the high speeds and dangerous maneuvers, they managed to stop the suspect van with multiple pit maneuvers, ensuring the safety of other drivers on the road. The professionalism and quick thinking of the officers involved are commendable. Kudos to everyone involved in bringing this situation to a safe conclusion!

The difference between these LEOs and Arkansas SP appears to be that ASP would pit them much sooner and would have rammed them against the wall to pin them there so that the other two pits would not have happened. Other than that, FHP did a first class job with this bunch.

What always amazes me is the number of police cars chasing the vehicle, with no plan to block traffic or join the pursuit in front of the target to box them in. Twenty or thirty police cars following one vehicle seems more than a little excessive.
In Florida, if you play stupid games, you win stupid prizes. We will use 100 police cars if we want to "follow" the "target". You literally just watched several Officers just save someone from death or great bodily harm dangling off an overpass and you are concerned about excessive police cars. I cease to be amazed.

This chase reminded me. I have driven for several radio connected fleets. They all had a code that if the driver was in trouble punch that code every other driver was suppose to respond to your location.
