- We travel from our home in north wales, to east Yorkshire to look for rare spring accidentals on passage, then all the way the Suffolk to try and find some regional specialities for our year list. Probably the most challenging video of the year so far.

Well done you two another excellent upkoad.
Thanks so much
I like your perseverance 😂 and how lucky to see the stone curlew !!, I had no idea they were at westleton heath ! I need to try and find them for my year count .
Keep up the great work 👍
It was the first time we had seen them there. I was in the evening. Good luck!
@@TheBackyardAviaryAdventures thanks 😊
💚
I didn't get to Minsmere that weekend as hoped after all (and still not been up there). It would have been lovely to say 'Hello'. But your schedule saw you there a day after I'd expected to go. Being a gardener, I am playing catch up due to the awful weather, so any birding I've done has been more local. I am also binge watching your latest videos too as I have fallen behind. As I watched your quest for Dartord Warbler, I wondered if you would have gone on to Dunwich Heath, overlooking Minsmere. But saw that you eventually got footage of one and the more evasive nightingale! Spoonbill and Stone Curlew too, A hard slog but you both did so well. Chilli too and cooked in a pan similar to the one I use! Anyway, I've more of your videos to enjoy, so will do that right now! Thank you for sharing your adventures, they are always a good watch!
Thanks Tony, shame we did not see you, although maybe next time. Thanks for your kind words, we really do appreciate your continued support. things are getting more difficult with the "big year" , so bit of a change on scenery soon, a trip to France is on the horizon!
Hi guys, your Big Year is very impressive with still the autumn migration to come! France sounds like a plan!! I really do enjoy viewing as we get to see the disappointments as well as the delights! Congratulations are also in order for you exceeding the 2k subs! I know more will discover you and enjoy your content! Keep up the good work, drive safely and of course, happy birding! And hopefully our paths will cross soon!
What a trip!! Love the stone curlew pictures, it was lovely meeting you both at Bempton/ Flamborough, hope to bump into you again soon, I ducked out as well 😂. I ended up at Fairburn Ings, Russ 👍👍
It was a tough weekend. Thought we didn't have a video at one point!
Lovely trip! Good job with the dartford warbler, such a cool bird to me as a swede 🙂
Do they ever get to Sweden? I only know of one record in 1994
@@TheBackyardAviaryAdventures I could find four records, 1983, 1988, 1994 and 2011.
Well done you two. Perseverance paid off in the end! I love watching your birding adventures from all the way down here in the Blue Mountains NSW Australia. Thankyou & keep going. Cheers, Gary.
Thanks so much for your support. I bet you get some great birds in OZ.
Dozens of Cockatoos, Australian Magpies, Satin Bowerbirds, King Parrots, Rozellas, Noisy Minors, Wonga Pigeons, the occasional Yellow tailed Black Cockatoo & Kookaburras to name a few!😊
Appreciate the captions on each species. Shrike hunt somewhat comedic with ppl everywhere, but in the middle of nowhere.
Thanks for the comment, and your support.
Your persistence paid off, well done!
Absolutely brilliant chippy in Flamborough 👍
Today`s a good day the backyard aviary adventures made a video
