I used to hate watching these episodes when I was hungry, cuz it would ALWAYS make me really hungry, so I'd have to make a sandwich or a burrito or order food before I let myself do a Man Vs. Food marathon.
And these episodes always make me wanna hunt down the places he goes to so I can order some of that amazing looking food
idk i think ur just fat
Same here
Wonder how many of those restaurants are still around
@@Serpent042G i reckon a few are. i know some closed but a lot of these joints have been in business for years. decades even.
Sadly I make that mistake far too often when watching Man V Food.
Pittsburgh born and raised here and there are very few sandwiches like Primanti Bros! I've had em all my life. When I got married, I told my Brooklyn born and raised wife about Primanti Bros and she told me that a sandwich with french fries and coleslaw on it sounded disgusting. When we went to visit Pittsburgh, I took her to Primanti Bros and she ordered the Pastrami and Cheese. She took a bite and said "Oh Sh*t!" So, now, every time we go back to The Burgh, we HAVE to stop at Primanti Brothers! Love ya Pittsburgh!!!!!
Pittsburgh girl here, how cute is Adam though?? He seems so appreciative of all the hardworking ppl who make his food. I just 💘 him!!
Adam is awesome... Unlike the clown from Diners Drive-in's and Dives who for some strange reason believes he's god's gift to planet earth
Awsome Steeler Nation!
Gina Newman I mean he’s eating free food so it’s not hard to act nice 😂😂😂

Who's there now?
Ingty 22 Casey Webb
i had no idea it even continued lol
All these Adam Man vs. Food videos being posted in 2020... but how many years ago were they actually FILMED?!?
@@joevenuti1201 2008-2010 😄
Why do I make myself suffer with all these food videos ..
Lol just wondering that myself.
Me ASF, I've always had food filled on my shelves but since Rona I've had minimal food and I be so sad
I don't not that serious!!!
Because , like most of us, you want to find out more of the world of food.
I do because I look forward to going back to Pittsburgh someday.
"How are you doing other than extremely busy?"
"......Busy."
Adam commentating on the food, is me freeloading at my moms house when I want a home cooked meal lol
You don't need to do the dishes if you stuff everything in the bread.
Thats actually what medieval peasants did instead of using plates they used their bread. Source ruclips.net/video/WeVcey0Ng-w/видео.html.
GALAXY BRAIN!
Lmao😭😂
@J. C. some common sense knocked out on you bro so sad.
Just get grubhub delivered 3 times a day
5:08 I thought he said, “Pancakes, our fucking pancakes” 😂
He said it. Legendary!
Sounded Like He Said Pumpkin Pancakes
You gotta try our ******* pancakes
That's a Pittsburgh answer. Bunch of blue collar potty-mouth plant workers, truck drivers, road crew guys,... blue collar as hell. I live about 3 miles from DeLuca's but never go there... line is always too long and there are 100 places just like it all over Pittsburgh. The one near me is called Pamela's P&G diner. They had Michele Obama come there just to try the pancakes. They make them super thin with a crispy edge... outstanding. Our whole city is like that, no frills, nothing fancy, but delicious. We have some white collar people but they all live out in the suburbs and there are "fancy" areas that cater to those people. But downtown Pittsburgh is all yinzers who talk like pirates... "eh, yinz try deez fuckin pancakes? That shits good, eh?"
I've had these several times in my life, first time was when I visited Pittsburgh and they told me it was a must have. They are some of the best sandwich I've ever had.
Adam's look when he took his first bite reminded me of my first time having one of these sandwiches. So damn good.
Eating a corned beef primanti sandwich brought me here
@@Darkstar-rg8ze Honestly, I'd make a day trip to Pittsburgh just to eat one, and it's 3 hours away via car for me. Enjoy.
He has that look on nearly every episode
The lady making the sandwiches was so nice too. 😂
I’ve had one of those sandwiches almost ten years ago, I still think about it to this day
How about now a year later? 🤔
@@papabear9481 now two years later, as a Pittsburgher who hasn't been home in a decade, I still think of these on a weekly basis
@@mikeakey3358 Right on, must be a hell of a good sandwich🤙
I miss these so much. I used to eat primantis at least once a week in Pittsburgh. The slaw def makes the difference. It’s unlike any other coleslaw.
When you work really hard this is the kind of food you really want/need.
Toni is an absolute Pittsburgh legend!! Pittsburgh is such an awesome city.
Eaten there in 97'.. was in p-town for culinary school. I remember my sandwich 💚💚
It’s ate. Eaten is not a word
Crowded restaurants? Havent saw that in a while.
I love when she said...
"freestyle babe"
Adam you are the goat of food traveling/ eating challenges and such. Love you man and wish you nothing but the best
This dude is great!! The perfect host
And this is an understatement
This gives me so much pride for where I'm from!
Went to Pittsburgh years ago and went to both Primantti Bros and Deluccas. Both lived up to the hype. Saw Adams picture up on the wall at Deluccas. If you go try the 2 lb omelet.
Adam is soooooo..much better at M vs F then that new dude... who else get food videos during this quarantine???😂 LOL..Everyone wash ur hands take ur vitamins, exercise, n stay safe! 😊🤗

Those prices are insane! on those sandwiches.
I'd be 300lbs if this place was near me.
I feel ya brother. I don't care for fries in my sandwich, but I wouldn't turn them down as sides.👍🍺
id die by 25 if i lived there
There delicious especially with Tabasco on em too
food isnt very good but its cheap
I feel so sorry for them toilets tho. They're the ones that's gon do all the suffering.
Hes in pittsburgh and hes showing love guys.
That Mixed Grill looks amazing!!
Had it when I was in the city, and yes- a food memory for sure!
Mr N they have branched out and standardized so they all suck
@@matthewtoddsr.6743 really? Not good anymore?
I knew this was Pittsburgh right from the thumbnail. Grew up in Philly but always loved my Pittsburgh visits. Amazing food!
Pittsburgh guy here, I’ve always loved the classic Philly roast pork!
7:15, “What is the world?” “Wow.” *Shows shocked face* 🤣🤣
I love this restaurant. Seemed to be open only after last call in Pittsburgh. Me and my four buddies ordered 4 different sandwiches. We all got cheese steaks. Also I live far to get sandwiches now so I put French fries and Cole slaw. Guess what? Tastes same
Dude is pretty excited about egg and chip butties.
I know right. British have been putting chips, fried eggs and a whole lot of other things including black pudding not just typical ham and cheese in butties for well over a century. Butties are the original working man's food. Anything in 2 slabs of bread to keep them going down the mines and steel sites.
@TWO BROTHERS Well maybe so but we are the original birthplace of the "stuffed sandwich". But knowing my luck there is probably another country who did it first...
@@MizFoxi69 It's a well known story that the sandwich was born when John Montague, Earl of Sandwich, asked for beef between two slices of bread. However it's less well known that the term "buttie" is derived from Montague's nickname, "Buttie Buttie Boombah".
@@hughjasshol9859 want to fist a butty
I watch these episodes while I eat dinner and it makes me full instantly. I could never ever do any of the challenges for the sheer amount of food intake, it's inhuman. These are meals that can feed a small army for a whole day. I would be curious to see the nutritional value and caloric intake of any of these challenges.
Best episode hands down, juicy Lucy episode was very good too!
That breakfast looked out of this world... Wow!
"coleslaw" i mean, its basically 100% cabbage with dressing lmao
Nice...
"Hamburger" it's basically just beef and a bun lmao

Hubby is from "The Burgh" took me to the ORIGINAL (strip district) Primanti's I was IN LOVE!! GREAT EATS!!! ❤️ Great people!!
I love my hometown and miss it so much!!!
Another 2am binge of food videos I'll never get to try
I love this show 😍😍😍😍

"Pancakes. It's our fuckin' pancakes."
After I clean all the drool off my keyboard, I'm searching plane fares to Pittsburgh.
Take the 28X downtown after you land. It's a hell of a lot cheaper than an Uber.
Like it. Always watched you on television but can't get you any more. Like your fresh attitude.
Primantis was one of the few bright sides of living in pittsburgh. God I miss that place
Now that I'm a truck driver all the old shows of travel channel has become gold.. I'm gonna uber to the sandwich spot today here in Pittsburgh lol
Gotta try that pancake sundae too
IT LOOKS SO GOOD!!!!
Shades of Dagwood Bumstead. Been making these type of sandwiches since I was a teen in the 80's. They all look great!
Dagwood put some actual meat between the bread.
6:32 He's wearing a Memphis Arcade Restaurant shirt. Awesome!
Freestyle Babe!!!!!😂😂
Went to Scranton last year for a convention for the tv show The Office, tried Primanti Bros and had it for lunch and dinner all 3 days I was there. It is off the chain!!! I still think about those sandwiches lol
Love their sandwiches!! been to the one near Detroit. would love to check out there original location.
That’s my kinda place, I love fries on my sandwich and my sandwich squished. ❤️
This looks like it was filmed 2012 for national television
was probably a little earlier than that he retired from the show in 2012.
2008.
I kept thinking the dish was missing something for the eggs which were left nekked. And then he added some hot sauce. Perfection.
The Primanti Bros sandwhich is a classic poor man's sandwhich. I'm not talking how much it costs I just mean it's mostly bread and fries. It's old school poor. With a beer it's amazing. Working class meal.
Love it , but it’s late I’m in bed never watch a food programme can’t sleep need food now 😂
As someone who likes to eat healthy. I am looking at this in awe and shock. But I can't stop 😂
I usually would never eat something like that, but thanks to Toni and Adam, I'd give it a try!
Please do
The way Toni said "Nine Ahhhnce" is why I love this city
Had my first one tonight, delicious!
I can proudly say..ive been here...and ive had the sandwich...very very good
Damm 6 bucks for one of the big ass sandwiches is a steal! Over here in california it probably be like 20 bucks for one! Lol!
That mixed grill looks good AF... like at least 2 meals. Yum.
THIS WAS AWESOME THANK YOU FOR GIVING ME THE GIFT
So many franchised locations are scattered around the area now that it seems every suburban strip mall has a Primanti's. I drive past three of them to get to the original location in the Strip District. Long live Toni and the hot Italian sausage and provolone!
the OG in Pittsburgh. Locals go to the one in the strip district
I had one at PNC Park...maybe the original location would have been better....and I could see the potential for a great sandwich. Unfortunately, the fries had ZERO salt on them which made the sandwich bland. And the bread while very tasty, disintegrated on the bottom from all the moisture. I believe to this day that if I had eaten at the restaurant instead of the Ballpark, then it would have been damn near a religious experience. I intend to test that theory someday soon.
Oh, and BTW...that fish sandwich looked awesome. Going with that next time! Lol
Watching this while on quarantine 🥺🥺🥺
Eating this tomorrow night. I'm glad Adam went to the ORIGINAL in the Strip. The one on S18th also uses the real stuff.
The reruns are on Saturday mornings on travel channel
I missed eating American size food, gained so much
This is a place I would make a regular thing. Awesome. Handmade food fresh
The mixed grill looks really good
Ate at DeLucas today. Awesome!
Hey Toni, should I put any condiments on it or go freestyle? LOL nice one Adam!!!
Did she tell him to "fuck up" at 1.42?? Lol
It’s a sandwich heaven🤩🥪
“Get in there...aaaaauuuhhgghhh”
These look damn good. If i ever visited the states, i'd want to try the regional foods, so many of them look so damn good. My dad has toured in 46 states (and loads more places all over the world) with the bands he's been in, he's asked me if i wanted to come with him and i would if he went back to the states (it's been 5 years since he has)
I'd totally chow down on one of those beastly sandwiches. I'd get no tomatoes though, fresh tomatoes are the red ring of death on sandwiches, and ketchup is the devil's piss. I like a good tomato based pasta sauce, or passata on a pizza, but fresh or fried tomatoes and ketchup are satan's condiments, nen of those they ruin a good sarni.
Up here in Northumbria we can get a "Ultimate breakfast stottie" at the market, 12" diamater stottie bun, loads of British smoked back bacon, 3-4 lincolnshire sausages sliced in half, fried black pudding, 2-3 fried eggs (i always get hard yolks, one time i forgot to ask, bit into it and it squirted yolk on the right sleeve of my olive green jacket, when it dried it looked like a huge cum stain, my girlfriend i had at the time asked me if it was when she saw it) One of those sarnis will certainly fill you up and get you ready for the day. I go for HP sauce on mine too, omnomnom it's the best way to have a breakfast on the go, but the fried bread you get with a full english, oho that stuff is the dog's bollocks, but you can't take a full English and eat it sat down on a bench by the Tyne, sat at Whitefriars (the ultimate out of the way spot in the toon, when i was a teen i'd smoke doobies there and then go off to get food) or in the park. (the place that does the sarnis i'm on about is in the toon in Newcastle)
lol! That's your opinion! XD I love tomatoes, and ketchup! ^_^ I don't like fried tomatoes though! XD And I love English breakfast meals! I think that they're so awesome, and delicious, and I'm an American! :D
Fresh tomatoes are excellent u have bad taste
Quite a rant sir 😂
I can’t wait till we can go back to eating from people bare hands with no mask miss those days
Legend...
That sandwich looked awesome
I’m going to weigh 300lbs if I keep watching videos like this one. I live 4 hours away from Pittsburgh and I’m thinking about taking a road trip to get a sandwich.
Saint Michael do it
deficit-spending- Lol!! I came close, but I came to my senses at the last minute and ordered take out from a local sandwich shop.
Saint Michael I need 11 hours with an airplane ✈️ to get those goods. Have been to the USA twice. I am so jealous that you’re American. Hope you enjoyed your sandwich, mate!
But it’s just a sandwich, using ordinary ingredients, stuffed with fries.
Is it not possible to make this at home?
@@kratkats2720 I'm assuming that what they use at the restaurant is better than what you'd find in a grocery store. And they use italian bread. You can't find that everywhere.
Other than the Mix Grill the other meal/dish that caught my eyes is at 4:50
I don't mind digging into one!!!
As a curious Scotsman, why do you guys need to have Chocolate covered Waffles and Pancakes for breakfast? I thought we were bad by deep frying everything 😅😅
We all need to indulge once in a while, right?
3:39 notice the dude at the top right corner listening for the Cole slaw recipe
Great Job
out of all the mouth watering food throughout the show primanti brothers though maybe not the most visually appealing is probably the one I want to try the most
Alright i gotta make a trip up north to the steel city and try one if these sandwiches
Looks freaking delicious
I miss this show
I had one of their sandwiches 23 years ago, and I still think about it. I need to get back to Pittsburgh asap.
Did you go back?

I moved away from Pittsburgh several years ago and I would love nothing more than a colossal fish!!!
Sorry!! No french fries on my sandwich.
This guy really loves food
Who is on diet and came here to get satisfaction?
Lmao me 😂
24 hr fast 1 month completed 2 more month to go
I cant watch this things no more 😳😳
She the exact reason why gloves in some restaurants are a bad idea. She wears only one not to keep you healthy but to keep that hand clean from fries and cole slaw.
So....sandwiches were made in England first mate even huge ones , goes back to the earl of sandwich and his hunting parties hundreds of years ago .
Absolutely ridiculous, I'll take two 🤪
Toni looks and sounds like that one lunchlady every kid could only dream off
Eating low carb....that sandwich is 😍😍😍😍😍
Eggs under fries topped with coleslaw & tomato??... I'll pass on that sandwich.
