When I used to work as a busboy and have lunch breaks. I always frequent burgers. Any sorts. I would eat this like almost every day when I was working. Till one day I look at the menu and look for something else that catches my attention. Such as lasagna. Must be great to have a job at this. Go to different cities go to any restaurants. And sampled their foods. 👍
The the IRS came to the restaurant and arrested him he was arrested for tax evasion and paying people under the table he went to prison for how long I don't know but what I do know is that Gladys bailed her son out of jail and then she took him to court over her last name she won the case and took her name down because of what he did and I can't say I blame her for after all that is her last name because she's a singer singer and songwriter she had a lot of hits which I listen to back when I was a kid but look it up on Google and you'll see what I mean.
Update. So in 2016, allegedly 2 of the restaurants were raided by authorities in Georgia. Her son was running her chain and he was being investigated for tax evasion by Georgia, so the restaurants were shut down. Gladys wasn't involved though, so nothing happened to her, she's still alive today. Performed at the White House this year ❤
That burger from Vortex bar and grill just became a bucket list item! A hamburger with 3 eggs, 6 strips of bacon, sandwiched between twongrilled cheese sandwiches with chili cheese tots on the side? I'm all in!
what i love about gladys is she uses flour to dredge her chicken, and it still comes out perfect. every other fast food chain and other restaurants dredge in potato starch, but the fact she can make perfect chicken with just flour is astonishing. her food is excellent. i highly recommend her restaurant when you’re in georgia.
