- Today Me and Mike take a Roadtrip to pickup a rare Model PB from our Buddy Tim Daugherty and then stopped off at our Buddy Dollar Bill's place and he wound up giving Me a great deal on a Briggs Model FI with a Mower

I'v restored a couple Cooper mowers from the 50's, one my grandpa purchased new. The company makes gaskets now days, though under a different name, still owned by the Cooper family. Super neat old mower and engine. Can't wait to see it mowing!

I blew up the Ol' Lady's 68 slant Dart when we were still dating!! The oil light started flickering during a snow storm, I told Her it was probably just a bad wire or connection!! I was wrong, it was the oil pump!!☻
My old man gave me his 72 Dart (he got it when his dad passed). Said the oil light would come on, but he would just put more oil in and it'd go out. When I asked the last time he changed the oil, he said about 4 years. 3 days later, just before I got paid and was going to get the oil and filter, it spun 2 bearings and wiped the cam.
In those 4 years, he would travel from below Christiana DE to just east of Pittsburgh several times a month. Tough, but even the /6 has a limit.

The PB is a strange little engine; it has an atmospheric intake valve on top of the head, and the carburetor feeds directly into the top of it!
