You made this seem so trivial and matter of fact, but I know that it is in fact really hard to pull off for everything to look right; and you nailed it! I reckon Briggs and Stratton themselves would've been happy to have used this as a promotional back in the day. Top job fella!
Thank you Mac!!☻
Wow! It even sparks! The kids are gonna have to get in line behind me at Jacktown!
Thanks Buddy!! We'll get you a VIP pass, you won't have to worry about any Snotty Nose Kids!!☻
Same thought here too! As a added benefit you could use it to test those pesky ignition coils, always a PITA to accurately test.
This might be one of my favorite projects you did! Absolutely fantastic!!! The attention to detail on this is incredible. 😃👍
Thanks Mate!! I'll let you play with it at Jacktown if you promise not to stick your fingers in anything!!☻
That's pretty neat, but without the rings, you'll never develop any compression. I bet the kids will have a blast!!
Nearly every bit of plumbing I know I learned from a cutaway done by Richard Trethewey on this old house. They are great display pieces.
Yeah Buddy!! I remember the cutaway Toilet he use to use!!☻
You did a nice job of cutting it apart. Harold approves!!
Thank you Harold!!☻
Glad you saved that gas tank. A more suitable one to cut away will turn up.
That's sweet, usually i'd be unhappy about someone making a briggs never run again but this is an exception ! Great Job !!
I'm an adult and I know how it works, but I would still have a ton of fun playing with that. What a cool toy.
Thanks Mate!!☻
I think that came out really good. Folks at the shows will get a kick out of that cut away. Nice work Buddy
Thank you Lloyd!!☻
That is the nicest cutaway Briggs I seen, thank you for sharing !
Thank you Ninja!!☻
Cutting the flywheel as to preserve the ignition was a great touch. Even at cranking RPM the piston was blurred. I still can't wrap my mind around how engines (especially racing) operate with any power at all at 7-8000 RPM. Everything happens so fast!
Thanks Keith!!☻
You know as cheap as the predators are it would be great to cut one of them up for comparison.
I remember wishing we had OHV ‘s in the 80’s running go karts. Awesome Job Road King!
Thanks Matt!!☻
Way cool!! I've always liked cutway stuff. It can really be educational!! And this is the only one I've ever seen spark!!
Thanks Jason!!☻
Can only imagine the hours that went into that. Great job!
Thanks Ron!!☻
Great job RK, kids will certainly get a thrill looking and pull starting on it.👍🏻
Thanks Bruce!!☻
Love it!!! Well done RK! Things like this spark an interest in young minds, and turns them on to the need for mechanical knowledge. Thank you!
Thanks Cookie!!☻
That is pretty nice. The kids will love it.
Thanks Stephen!!☻
Great Ideal. I think it turned out real nice. Hopes it entertains and teaches a lot of kids at shows!
Thanks Bob!!☻
The cut-away shows that the oil level is critical in this style system!
RK- your skills never cease to amaze me!! That cutaway B&S is too cool!!
Thank you Tom!!☻
Try heating piston rings in the closed position so you can also have rings on the piston.
Very neat idea and work !! I hope you have been well 🤠
Thanks Willie!! Life is good!!☻
Art in Engineering. Well done, RK!
Thanks Bud!!☻
Nice job, the kids should enjoy looking at the workings of a small 4 stroke gas engine
Thanks Matt!!☻
Everett, This is one reason subscribers like you so much. You are very interested in people learning.
So this is a very EDU MA CATIONAL Tool. Briggs like the Model T Ford engine SIMPLICITY of design and is easy to work on.
Thank you Mac!!☻
Nice job, that engine looks great! Really neat to see how all the parts interact.
I bet if you loaned it to Mike he'd get it running, too! 😆
Thanks Diddly!! You're absolutely right!! If anybody could get that thing to run it would be Mike!!☻
You did a nice job on this one RK. I believe the compression is a little low now, but I bet this engine is going to get a lot of attention at the shows.
Thank you LL!!☻
That was done very nice. Like the idea you left the shroud on.
Thank you Larry!!☻
Hi "roadking,, hey I'd like to say that I enjoy all of your videos, but this one would rate as probably one of my favorites. I could imagine going into a patrs store and seeing your "cutaway, sitting on the counter top and everyone that comes in, pulling on the starter cord. Very nice job on every aspect of this project. Thanks ❤👍
Thank you Andy!!☻
I've always wanted to make a cut away. Great job.
Thanks Spud!!☻
Brother RK,
Great movie!!
Thanks Dan'l!!☻
The kids are gonna love it me I ain't gonna sleep tonight , oh gloom despair and agony on me 😶
Awesome project buddy looks great!
Thanks Bud!!☻
So good. I always admire these in museums. Quad-cam V16 next? 😂
Yup, you had good spark.
A bit more chock it might start. 😉
Good little project, maybe with a slow electric motor to turn the engine slowly, might be able to see thing's a bit better, great job, thanks for sharing, all the best to you and your loved ones
Thank you Donald!! I agree with you, I've always enjoyed watching the ones that move by themselves!! It would probably draw more attention also!! I've been looking for a lil' low RPM motor, something we could put a speed adjustment on!!☻
@805ROADKING you might find something you like in a gear reduction motor over at Skylab Surplus. Make up a PWM controller or a pre-built ESC and you'd be the hit of the shows.
Cool...I've been wanting to make one like that...Cheers RK.
Thanks Mate!! You'd have to make one outta a V8!!☻
that is a great job, it shows how everything works, I doubt if I could have done nearly as good on this project. by the way, it's not only kids that don't have an idea as to how these engines work.
Thanks alot Vern!!☻
Fantastic model! Cool demonstration piece!
Looks fantastic RK!!
Thanks GNG!!☻
@@805ROADKING Yea buddy👍👍
Very schmic RK. Nice professional job on that one mate. cheers.
Thank you Mate!!☻
Nice work on the cutway engine RK i love it 🔧
Wow, very nice job.
Thanks you Steve!!☻
Awesome job on the Cutaway thank you for the video
Thank you Lil' Joe!!☻
I think that engine might have compression issues... :P
very nice work.
Thank you Rich!!☻
Updating a Briggs to the new zero carbon emission standards?
I wonder, does everybody make them different?
F that I'm 40. I want it lol
Ahhhgggghhh😆
Nice job
Thanks Jim!!☻
Have you seen the cutaway centurion tank on The Tank Museums channel?
It’s amazing, this made me think of that.
Super cool stuff
Nah, haven't seen that!! We'll have to check it out!!☻
Very cool project, and well-done! I would have loved to see you cut the block and other pieces. What did you cut them with?
Thank you Chris!! We cut it with the Band Saw!!☻
👍👍
Thanks Buddy!! ☻
I don't think I can weld that back together. lol
I don't know!! I wouldn't bet against the Texas Viking!!☻
