Was going to comment the same thing. While I'm still researching the correct way to remove a gearbox on a dump truck, he's just steamed in and done the whole job. Very impressive!
It's a rare breed these days. Most of what I watch on yt is building/engineering related. I'll probably never use half of the knowledge but it has come in handy many times. It's really just reinforcing a mindset. I'm not afraid to jump in head-first.
It amazes me the knowledge and skills you have to do the things you do, making, creating, fixing things with no issues or stresses. Just cracking on with it and getting the job done regardless of the obstacles you face, 👏👏👏
If Colin can sell jars of dirt from his bunker, you can absolutely sell jars of well water from yours. 😂Great progress, Dave. Looking forward to the next one!
Good morning, Dave, just love the Can-Do attitude, the dumpy is back running and in 45mins. The hole is nearly there, I am sure I am nearly cured of my claustrophobia, Cheers from Oz, see you in two weeks.
What an action packed episode mate! Your sense of humor has me cracking up LOL. I think the sports dumpster driving lessons were hilarious. I always finish your videos feeling inspired - no problem gets in the way. Swapping out the clutch on the dumpster with brand new second hand parts didn't even break your stride. More entertaining than anything on the telly that's for sure.
I think the gas spring on your hatch is upside down. The rod should be pointing down when open. Keeps oil on the seal. Compare with the boot of your hatchback.
breeze blocks can't hold their own weight, especially wouldn't hold back the pour. Even if you brace them, the concrete will break some blocks and guarantee crack at least half of the mortar joints between the blocks. Concrete slumps ferociously.
Now you have joined the Bunker water drinkers. Turbo conquering mega eagle, yourself and I have all drank water straight out of the hole. Nice work buddy.
commenting 30 secs into this vid this is the 2nd video of yours I'm about to watch . watched you on Colin furze channel when he came to dig out of your garden with you great vid btw . and today I watched another one of his vids and long behold there you are which reminded me I should subscribe to your channel sorry I forgot to do that last time but hey better late than never I look forward to seeing your progress as I have watched Colin's and enjoyed every step of the process . you guys really are living the dream haha
I'm surprised you went with the "spend time fixing the dumper" route instead of just using the front loader of the second digger. Sure, it holds less scoops, but you can pile it up higher at the dump site and it doesn't take long to move back and forth.
I’ve got the dump site looking pretty good by driving on top with the dumper, it looks like a digger has mounded it up. The digger spills too much and I would of wrecked more of the lawn dumping it on the floor and re lifting, it was still quicker with the dumper including the 45 minute pit stop 😂, plan b was to use the digger if all failed
@@Tornado_Dave The fact you managed to remove a transmission, source and pick up parts, replace with "new" parts, and reinstall the transmission in 45 minutes is astounding. How? I though the "45 minutes later" was just the reinstall part.
what is your opinion on using chrome sockets on impact wrenches? im always squinting when doing so, and it seems like you use the combo without any fear..
The ease with which these machines dig out tons of dirt.... And the amount of effort for a human to lift/dig out their own volume/weight in dirt.... RIDICULOUS, I SAY.
I presume you are on about Colin are you? Yes we are both doing underground projects but I don’t think they could be much different? Colin is currently building an underground an underground garage and I’m building myself a new underground army bunker with a great escape style tunnel? The style of building is completely different, which way am I copying?
@Tornado_Dave your copying by digging a bunker, a tunnel, using a JCB, getting help from mates and breathing oxygen. Why don't you go the full hog and get him onto one of your videos. Openly copying other creators!!
@Tornado_Dave his videos literally say underground bunker. He's currently working on an underground garage, true, but also has tunnels too. It's ok to be inspired and do the same, but you're passing it off as your own and doubling down by saying how different they are when they aren't at all. Just profiting on someone else's work
@@spydirsbite how am I profiting off Colin’s work? I technically will be doing when I publish my trip to Colin’s underground world video, but that’s only fair as he came here and did a video on mine. My bunker was build before colin started his underground projects, should I accuse him of copying me? My plan was always to link to my house but was originally going to have a full height corridor dug from above, that corridor would of been over 60ft long so thought it would be a bit boring
😂brand new second hand. That's brilliant Dave
Big fan of how this guy just does things with little hesitation and when an issue pops up, he just figures it out.
Was going to comment the same thing. While I'm still researching the correct way to remove a gearbox on a dump truck, he's just steamed in and done the whole job. Very impressive!
You just can’t let little problems slow the main job down 😂

45 minutes to change a clutch ? What a legend !
Think I could do it quicker next time 😂
Absolutely love the great escape type tunnel ❤nice and long and very small so cool
@@wijpke that’s the feel I wanted, not everyone agrees but I think it’s cool 😀
The whole idea of taking your transmission apart and back together in 1.5 hours blows my mind! Wow!
Love your positive vibes.

Yes, might have to get it tested though 😂
Jars of water 🤣🤣

Just add "not for human consumption" and you're golden.
the tste of rust is gret, your body needs iron
Incredible dave, lots of progress. Thank god for the invention of hydraulics , that was a lot of earth to move.
Crying laughing at humour between friends.
Love this channel.
Glad it came across right, i like including stuff like that 😂
Such positive energy. Thanks for this series.
My main aim is to always try and stay positive 😂

Yes I was thinking when the dumper failed the job could be stopped but John said let’s fix it now and it was the right choice 😀
Always a pleasure to watch
This cannel deserves far more subscribers !
I’m sure they will come at some point 😀
Great video Dave, looking forward to the next one
Thanks 👍 filming for the next one starts again tomorrow 😀
I have enjoyed watching every single one of your tunnel vedios
Glad you like them!
Another great video, Super Dumper both earning it's keep and occassionally sh1tting in the nest.
Yes I feel using the dumper does add good content to the videos 😂
I remember drinking water from rusty taps when I was a kid. Best water I ever tasted!

Glad you enjoyed it, yes I did manage to get a lot of content in this one, looking forward to digging through the rest of the tunnel now 😀
EPIC as always Dave! Thanks for sharing and play safe Brother !
I’m glad to see you doing and open excavation the ground is so granular I was worried for you
Still got a bit more risk to go yet 😂
Keep digging Dave 🍺 it’s going to look epic
Thank you cheers 😀
Dave, you’re killing me. I thought ‘WE’ would break through on this video. Great to watch buddy 👊🏻💪🏻
Next video I’m breaking through 😂
Very cool 👍great job 👏👏👏👏
Thank you! Cheers!
I think the gas spring on your hatch is upside down. The rod should be pointing down when open. Keeps oil on the seal. Compare with the boot of your hatchback.
I will have a look at that cheers 😀
If you put them in upside down they don't keep oil on the seals, then they dry out, leak gas and lose pressure.
Well done on getting the plan permission. progress is good and glad the clutch is sorted on the sports dumper. Have a great day Dave....
Thanks 👍 hopefully get the tunnel connected next video 😀
"Brand new 2nd hand"😂
Stole that quote off Matt Armstrong 😀
More like brand new 3rd foot.
"This clutch will work sometime today, but not now." That made me laugh out loud.
I wasn’t wrong in my prediction, just a shame it was when Ian had gone home 😂

well also what’s the point of a bunker if it’s barely below the ground 😭 feel like a shovel could get thru to it
Looking good mate 👍
You'll have that dig done in no time with that springer spaniel!
Yes wish I had got him to dig the tunnel for me 😂
Was a fun video to make on the dangerous Sports Dumper - once you stopped blaming me for breaking it 😂
It was a good job the clutch failed afterwards on John else I could of blamed you for something else 😂
Brilliant camera work Ðave😊
that well water would give you your daily intake of iron haha. keep up the good work Dave.
Digger dumper heaven toptastic well done digger dave
Well deserved pint me thinks 🤠
Thank you
wow this is the content im looking for after this week in the twilight zone...lol cheers Dave :)
Glad you enjoyed it 😀
Online for 13 hours now, but only 8 views and 1 thumb up? I love your videos, keep on diggin'.
mine says uploaded 2 minutes ago, 24 views, 6 up
I uploaded it yesterday but didn’t want to release while the election was on, it only went live for views at 5 so not sure why it was saying that
Now you have joined the Bunker water drinkers. Turbo conquering mega eagle, yourself and I have all drank water straight out of the hole. Nice work buddy.
Dig Dave!! DIG!!
I’m diggin’ it
i cant live on my yard but you can do all this nuts but i do love it tho 👌👍
Took some doing originally so I could live here as this was also Just a yard 😀
@@Tornado_Dave hop i can get there one day
We got a two for one! A tunnel build and a "will it run" all in one.
It’s always a will it run video when I use the dumper and the old digger 😂

12:40 - Dave, think there is a gap in your sheet metal joint in the ceiling (...looks like a bit of dirt fell through here and got in your eye! 🤣)
Pretty hard to see the wink but you got it 😂
Great video! I would look into getting the well water tested with view to bottling and sale 👍💦
This is the kind of project my wife fears she will come home to me doing one day

@@StapleCactus I fitted a as new clutch which I had removed off an engine I had bought so had the bits hanging around really, quite an easy job really
Did you get inspiration from Colin Furze? Cool to see your bunker build!
I bet you can't donut a Reliant Robin in the Bunker, like you did in your living room! 😉
Now there’s an idea 😂
No clutch, No brakes, throttle gets stuck to the floor. damn lucky a turtle can out run it.
It goes pretty fast in 4th, Ian only had it in 1st, I will open it up next video to demonstrate 😂
what is your opinion on using chrome sockets on impact wrenches?
im always squinting when doing so, and it seems like you use the combo without any fear..
On that makita gun I don’t really worry, on a big gun I would have more concern
Do you have concrete reinforcing the tunnel casings?
No it’s just supported with the steel work
Well, nothing but luck from here on out
I feel like I would enjoy digging a big hole in my garden and fabricating metal. I think i'm in the wrong job!
It is satisfying work 😀
👍
First time ive seen you drink water.
Was anyone else expecting beer to come out the pump?
Maybe I should make the brewery next 😂
Definitely a smoker
What do you mean?
🍻🍻
I would feel a whole lot safer with 1" rebar as structural support.
It’s been drawn out by a structural engineer, so I think it will be ok 😀
@@Tornado_Dave
Maybe he's burying his head.
Wots that they say, "call before you dig" ?
are you planning to connect your tunnel to collin tunnel????
I’m going to need a bigger channel for that 😂
Do you still have warranty on those machines?
The newest is 20 years old so I doubt it 😂
@@Tornado_Dave You won't say 😁
Take down the conservatory manually then you could put it back up 10 years later lol
Quick clutch change mid dig 😂
Yes as you do 😂

@Tornado_Dave fountain of youth, maybe? I've never had trouble from our well. Best tasting water available.

For gods sake Dave! Why would you go to all the trouble of pulling out the gearbox and putting in a second hand clutch?
It took me 45 minutes to do it and I hadn’t got a new one anyway and it was 7pm 😂
I did a jobs like that before against a house. Nearly sent the old Takeuchi thought the wall 😅
Great video again Dave, love that sports dumper!
Glad you enjoyed it 😀
You need Mr lamb
@@markhodgson2348 I’ve been with him today but not here 😀
No job too big when you’ve got the tools to dig.
What kind of monster does a clutch swap in 45 minutes??? Have you registered your dirt hill with British Geological Survey yet?
What is that survey thing? 😀
dodged a bullet missing that cable Dave, nicely done on the formula 1 speed clutch change too
Yes I was glad it was ok 😀 yes ,maybe I should be in the F1 pit crews 😂
Why is it called a "sports dumper"? Sorry, it's just unfamiliar to my ears
